This is Council of Thieves AP. Westcrown, City of Twilight, once was the center of Aroden's faith, but now it symbolizes despair. By day, the city remains a vibrant center of trade; but, by night only those with a death wish venture out.

Awesome! Right now, he's only really well known in the opera/theatre community, as a relative transplant from Kintargo. He'll probably be known to all of the district where the Wiscrani theatres are next level.

I scraped a knee pretty bad. Took months to find a doctor that would see me because it was a car wreck. Doctor said my knees have arthritis in them now and my back is messed up so been doing physical therapy but the cough from the pneumonia (or what seems to be pneumonia) had me miss all of August.
This has been horrible year for me. Will make it through but ready to see if next year is better.

For simplicity's sake, should we just say that The Mermaid's Grotto and The Reverse Mermaid are the same brothel?
It might prevent a lot of unnecessary confusion and I'm happy to give up the awesome, albeit joke, title of The Reverse Mermaid in favor of the supremely classier Mermaid's Grotto. We'd just have to add a lovely Tian woman to the, uh, "roster" of working girls. One with a particular talent for brokering information at that.

She'll be a slave though, which can get messy once the truth gets out.

We could always make The Reverse Mermaid the back entrance, like, a club within a club? Or perhaps it'd be more like the take out counter at a restaurant...
EDIT: Ah, yes, the slave angle does complicate matters.
I'm fine with that if you are. Though all the working girls here are slaves if that fits her story. The owner finds it a lot cheaper to just buy a slave to use as a prostitute rather than just take a cut from freeborn "working" women.

Actually, if Shu Lien is a slave with a talent for gathering information from her johns, it might make for an interesting subplot if Orsin agreed to buy her freedom if she successfully points him in the direction of his brother's killer.
The same brothel makes the taking and reading easier. The Shu Lien slave works too. It will make the herding of cats esier for me too.
I will like working that plot line out, the group eventually works to help the slaves and free them at some point in the future. Taht actually really works well with the Brotherhood's mission statement tooa

Consider it done then: Orsin is and always has been a patron of The Mermaid's Grotto, which he personally and affectionately refers to as "The Reverse Mermaid". Let no one say that he is without humor.
Hmmm, maybe Lucrezia should start making plans to buy or otherwise secure the freedom of Orn...
Yo Gabba Gabba is on the t.v. right now and they are singing a song called "Don't Bite Your Friends". I find this even more funny than their "There's A Party In My Tummy" song.

Just something Andrea will be doing whenever she has down time in between meetings wiht NPCs/shopping and adventuring.
1.Scribing scrolls. Andrea bought the materials for scrolls but didn't have time for scribing due to the big rush towards the end. Any chance between running around she will start scribing scrolls.(Current scrolls she is working on are listed in gear).
2.Tutoring Fiosa. Andrea also spends time talking to Fiosa about miracles and demonstrating them, along with channeling. She also talks about domain philosophies that align with her own. Pharesma and Calistria share Knowledge so Andrea can discuss that(Although viewed through Calistria's lens.) She will also talk about Trickery and Luck since they seem good choices for halflings.
3. She also pulls out that note Tracy gave her long ago about the dottari commander Iltus Mhartis, who seems to be in debt to Jurul Chard. If we can do something about the debts, we might gain an ally.
4. What will we do with all those orphans? Oliver Twist-like informants?
adoptions? Hmmm

Andrea is a busy lady in many ways. Tweaker just sort of floats through life.
After the meeting with the missepe family I was planning on slipping ahead in time a few weeks, so that will give you time scribe some scrolls and work in the forge and auditon for an oprea or whatnot behind the scene.
As far as a scrolls I'm fine with that just mark off if there is a significant goldwise material component. Also, keep me updated with a spoiler, or email, as far as what you are working on or trying to locate.
When it comes to locating some of the more advanced magical items, I do like to RP the finding and commissioning of the creation of those items. You are in a massive city so most anything can EVENTUALLY be located but I try to stay away from the Magick-Mart R-US weaponshop.

Tonight is my regular game night. Unless something is asked of Tweaker then he is likely to try and follow what others do (except drink more than sips unless water so as not to do something foolish) and hide in the background.

Just remembered, did we find any evidance at the Bastard's on wether or not they kileld the bewer Henri Stoutpur? If so, we will need to visit that 'partner'
Edit; Looks like Lucrezia will need to foot the bill for this one. lol
I have a few errnads to do this afternoon, so I'm going to give John and Duncan a chance to react to the current social situation before I post again when I get back.

Ok, just wanted to say that Tweaker works with traps so he rarely drinks more than a glass of any spirits as that could cost him his life. He will pull Sleight of Hand if he can to prevent such things such as bump his elbow to spill it on himself so as to be excused to clean up.
