Oh crap. This completely slipped my mind, but the Armigers are humans, aren't they? Then my Favored Enemy bonus should apply against them. Well, not gonna ask for a retcon, but at least now I know I can hit them better.

You all decide on a course of action, there is a sword marking on the wall pointing down one of the tunnels. Not the tunnel one where the Armiger took off running.

Why not just take Extra Channel? Isn't Channeling better because it scales with your level and you get to use it on multiple characters at once?

Extra Channel can indeed be good. It depends on what kind of channeling and who you use it on *cough*

Scribe Scroll is a good investment then. As one of the guys who will be directly benefiting from your group of scrolls, thanks.

Edit: Reread your previous post, saw that you were only considering, not decided. So, in that case I say I think it's a good idea but I would not be surprised if something else struck your fancy instead.

I think you might need a higher Charisma score before that becomes a viable strategy for you, since Selective Channel only lets you exclude a number of creatures equal to your Charisma modifier.

4 Way Juncture

This was the juncture from lst night BUT i changed the water flow and had the walkway rather than the water next to the doorway. I had it jog over right where the wood planks are located.

The Godsmouth one is in a lull right now until the other players chime in, but it is going well.

As a side note, the sewer adventure of this AP was written with several skirmishes and combat encounters. Are there too many combat encounters for the gourp right now? I'm trying to gauge what you all want. At my gaming table we role play quiet a bit typically 65-35. It looks like there are some role playing opportunities written in, I will add to those if you want after you get to he surface.

I am not feeling overwhelmed by the combat. I feel confident of the group to get us through but was taking this response from what I believe is a Rping encounter. Andrea is more concerned about getting skewered by the hellknights than what soemone else is doing down in the sewers. If the rest of the group rolls into combat I'll throw in, but please do not taunt grumpy Pit Fiend.

Actually my request isn't really about this encounter , its more from a general gaming point of view.

I'm partial to Chain Devils at these early level rather than Pit Fiends. Laughing

Probably a bit more Rping/Sneaking around and such. Combat is fun but I am a little wary of big ones where there are huge numbers of people/effcts to keep track off. Skirmishes are good like having running fights with small squads and of course the final fight with the BBEG.
A good thing about Rping and more skill rolls is it lets you to get more milage out of the skills you thought were a good concept for your character. My Godsmouth character is a rebellous daughter of a mafia golem-maker clan and has rofue skills along with engineering, sculpting and metalworking skills as she wants to learn how to make golems.

How do John and Shinon feel about getting into combat?(Along with Kenji and Duncan) If you want to fight I won't hold you back.

John only gets into combat if he is defending himself, or he believes his opponent is a criminal.

I too was hoping to do quite a bit of RP. I kind of like this foreigner concept I designed for myself. It will be fun to see how I can adapt to the party when we really have a chance for discussion. Kenji understands common a lot better than he speaks it. Just funny that way.

kenji is a good character. I do have some trouble at times understanding , but I guess that is part of the concept.

Kenji is good yeah. I just wish he was around more, but I guess that's just Andrea and John and I being online more than Duncan and Kenji. Sorry about that.

I like Shinon's character too. It's a lot of fun to play someone who is paranoid to the point of being unstable (and virtually clueless when it comes to women).

I hope to see more of Andrea's personality as well. As it stands she's been pretty straightforward, just reacting to each situation as it comes, but I haven't seen anything unique about her yet. Hope that she gets more chances to show herself off.

Of course being unique means revealing more that others would be uncomfortable with. :)

More serious I am aiming a kind of reserved character outwardly since she masqerades as a Pharesian(sp) The kind that would daintily eat her meal while the ghouls around her chow down. She isn't an ice queen though and I hope to be able to work the kinks out as we keep going.

There are times I can be on more than others. I spent the entire day today with friends. Sorry if I am not glued to a computer at all times, as much as I like these games, I like my personal time just as much. I keep up with my 3 posts a day minimum.

only issue I have with Kenji is he's not very social. Had I known this game was going to be very post heavy, I'd've busted out one of my more animated characters like Gan Laccaran. Now theres a talker. Would have done the whole Urban ranger concept, but alas, Kenji is what I picked so serves me right.

No sweat on hanging with friends, I am on a lot in the evenings since I have that time slot free. Once we get out of the sewers we can all be properly introduced I think that our characters still don't know everyone's names. :)
I'm willing to cut back on posting so Kenji doesn't get overwhelmed by all the chatter, plus it helps those like Duncan since he has RL duties as well.

This is definately the fastest paced game I am in. But pretty sure i've been good for about 4/day.

I love rp but combat is awesome (mostly cause I'm always chasing that next level)

I think eveyone is posting fine and certainly more than the 3-5, I requested during the recruitment. I simply don't want the game to tamper off because of inactivity. Everyone has RL, so no worries about being glued to the computer.

Everyone's character's personality is emerging. I think it's good that you were all recruited, but not really able to get each other's names when thrown into a life or death escape. Once the sewer adventure is over, there will be time to introduce and talk amonst yourself and more of the overall recruitment process will become evident.

I will make sure that I add in a bit more RP scenarios, then what is in the AP.

More RP is always good. After all, if I wanted to walk around slaying monsters all day with a bit of interesting personal interaction on the side, I'd turn on my PS2 and play some .hack//GU. ...I think I might do that anyway, now that I've thought about it.

Anyway, I always prefer the RP scenarios to be closely balanced with the combat scenarios, as combat tends to take longer. Then again, this isn't a four-hour session at a table, so it's not like I'm pressed for time to roleplay.

And after seeing that we're under duress from hellknights on our tail, and these guys are actually competent in a fight, I'm pretty relieved we opted for the Parlay route. If Shinon had tried to take these guys out in melee while dealing nonlethal, he probably would have been slaughtered.

Wait, but identify is just detect magic with a +10 bonus to the check. So we can use detect magic to identify these potions? I mean, you can cast that at-will right? Or someone can. That way you wouldn't need to use your Domain slot, at least.
