Yep. Time for tossing the charm spells and tag-team diplomacy! I say we try to figure out when Henk shows up at the inn Andrea saw him at and try to confront or follow him. Heck, maybe the Red KNives had nothing to do with the nobles and we can use them against The Bastards.

They shot us and then we got swarmed by rats. Also Shinon crit Clem for like 18 points of damage with a single arrow. I think there are limits on how far the Diplomacy skill will take us here.

Well probably not too inaccurate due to the group not being all together at that time. As Baldwin said, Andrea was having a nervous breakdown and Shinon stepped on the guy's chest and got spit on. What we/I want to find out is if they have a noble we are looking for down in the sewers.

If this Diplomacy check fails, which it may because he's probably hostile and as a noble may not have a bad Charisma score, let's charm him and try again.
I just remembered, I also have the scroll of detect thoughts if we think we can afford a potential mishap.

Oh yea. I forgot he is hostile. The thing is that if we can just learn if they have who we want we can just dump this guy wherever he wants. I'm all for making an exchange, otherwise we'll be sewer diving again.

Haha, read as written, if we successfully intimidate him, we'd actually improve his attitude because he becomes unfriendly afterwards. If we just need information, I'm all for Intimidate if charm doesn't work.

Argh, I'm super paranoid about him lying to us. I mean, he was truthful about Josuph being missing, but that the Red Knives have him? Without a successful charm person I don't know WHAT to believe. ARGH!

I envy your 2nd level spell access. I just realized that I can use the detect thought scroll no problem, assuming it was made by a wizard or witch or arcanist with CL 3.

I loved going all over the place! Getting on the main road again isn't so bad considering all the stuff we have done. We have oodles to occupy us after this.

Edit: Incidently I now know my OPTIMAL armor is a set of Deflecting Agile Masterwork Breastplate. Mundane armor. +6 AC, -3 armor check (0 for climb and jump) and I get +1 to attack a foe that misses me by 5 or less in combat.
