I figured you didn't have many spell options that would endanger your comrades. The creature is immune to your offensive ability drain attacks.

I totally screwed up my CMD. It was unmodified at 29, with my new dex from belt, ring etc. Should have been 34. AND I was within Azreal's Aura when the morhg attacked me so should have added +2 (actual bonus is 4 but my ring is 2 anyway) higher again.

I actually have downloaded the Pathfinder Masterwork Tools app.
Everyone should download it. Only a couple of Bucks and you have the CRB, APG, ARG, Mythic Rules, Adventurers Armory, Beastiary's etc.
Basically all the Paizo non-setting Hardcovers.
Each character and creature has a Combat Maneuver Defense (or CMD) that represents its ability to resist combat maneuvers. A creature's CMD is determined using the following formula:
CMD = 10 + Base attack bonus + Strength modifier + Dexterity modifier + special size modifier + miscellaneous modifiers
Special Size Modifier
The special size modifier for a creature's Combat Maneuver Defense is as follows:
Fine –8, Diminutive –4, Tiny –2, Small –1, Medium +0, Large +1, Huge +2, Gargantuan +4, Colossal +8.
Some feats and abilities grant a bonus to your CMD when resisting specific maneuvers.
Miscellaneous Modifiers
A creature can also add any circumstance, deflection, dodge, insight, luck, morale, profane, and sacred bonuses to AC to its CMD. Any penalties to a creature's AC also apply to its CMD. A flat-footed creature does not add its Dexterity bonus to its CMD.

Succeeding on a Saving Throw
A creature that successfully saves against a spell that has no obvious physical effects feels a hostile force or a tingle, but cannot deduce the exact nature of the attack. Likewise, if a creature's saving throw succeeds against a targeted spell, you sense that the spell has failed. You do not sense when creatures succeed on saves against effect and area spells
The Spell's Result
Once you know which creatures (or objects or areas) are affected, and whether those creatures have made successful saving throws (if any were allowed), you can apply whatever results a spell entails.

Identify a spell effect currently in place equals 20+ spell level.

I like how they did last night's GoT episode by staying at the Wall. The first day of battle needed an episode plus it leaves a lot to build next season around. Since there is only one episode remaining, I assume they will leave a few cliffhangers with the other story lines.

Okay recap. We entered Thesing's tower and fought off rat and bat swarms before heading upstairs and fighting the undead remains of the bandit Pavleen. We found Brotherhood of Westcrown member Mathalen upstairs and managed to dispel her domination and sent her back with Azreal and Euphemia to safety. Now we are ehadign downstairs.

Well win or lose and despite my many absences I am glad I am here at the end.
We started at breakneck pace and with a good group. Through all the posts (and pretty sure this is the most posted PBP on the board.) Neither the DM or Andrea ever flatered.
It had been a pleasure to game with you all but Baldwin and Andrea need to know you are both always welcome in any game I play.
Baldwin shows an attention to detail and story telling I have never seen from another online GM.
Andrea's char development and fun side tracks (Bob the Giant) made gaming with you a pleasure.

My private mail box on paizo was hit with Spam. there was the same bogus message sent to all my NPC aliases. I reported it to the Paizo, but it's a pain in the butt.
It has been pleasure to run the AP and take the group off on some fun side tracks. Every player has added to my pledging knowledge and I thank you. I learn something new each day that I game.
Andrea and STR Ranger you've been around since day 1, when I naively answered the post looking for a DM. It's nice that some have seen all the twists and turns in store. For Gerard and Euphemia (Trout) you've been with this game or followed it since nearly the inception, so we must be doing something right. :-) Aurelio thanks for answering the call and joining, I know it's hard to simply step in a long running game without knowledge of the plot or the players, but you've done an excellent job. Finally, to all the former players two thumbs up for helping the game move forward.
Together we have made this the most successful PbP game on Paizo. For having only 4-6 posters at any given time we achieved nearly 26,000 posts. Heck our discussion thread is at nearly 12,000 posts! Most games die out long before the 500th post, we have endured. Thank you all.

I'm still mulling over what is next. I have Razor Coast and think it could be fun to run. I also have a homebrew in my head (that is based off of the 3.5 Shattered Gates of Slaughtergard) that would fun run as a long term game. The Way of the Wicked is an option. But I am considering a short 1 module game to run to break things up for me. Like I mentioned, I'm still mulling over the options.
This is the only Paizo AP that I've ever finished. I do think APs need to be 4 books rather than 6. The story line seems to fizzle around that point.
Time for me to do a big dumb type that goes 'Ugh." as a change from all the deep roleplayign types. :)
