I'm looking for that little push to go and help look for missing children. Jund wouldn't help look for kids that are just playing around. He has no connection to these people or the town... but children that may have been abducted or in trouble... that is another thing.


At school at the moment so I don't have the module to know what you find.

Would you mind if Stinky changed his Bomb from explosive, which is more mini-max type, to ththe Frost Bomb .. it would mean Stinky can discover explosive later and be very proud of himself when he does.

Arianna found footprints of the children that look a day or two old.. correct? If so, can we follow the prints?

Do we know how long the children have been missing? I was under the impression it was only since this morning.

Oh, and that Hollin kid looks like he is trying to catch flies with his mouth ><

This hints that the children have gone to the half-way house.

I'm good either way -- I have a slight preference for a replacement PC, so we get as many ideas as possible -- however, at the same time, an NPC would avoid any posting delays.

So, I'll abstain.

Hmm.... cleric is a rough one to lose, I like your NPC's they should be fun to interact with.

I agree that having an NPC would cut down on posting time so I guess I would be fine with a recrutible NPC if you don't mind Azure.

I'd say Alkaid, a good martial presence with healing ability.


Alkaid and Yuuki are the same class combo's but different races

One has outsider blood, the other has Fey Blood.

I think we (newbies) interacted more with Alkaid -- but either way.


I prefer if you RP her recruitment.

Then tah may have to wait. Our characters have a sense of urgency to their actions, going back to hang out and convice someone to join them wouldn't make sense.

If we find one of the kids and they're injured or if we get hurt, then coming back to get a cleric would make more sense.

Unless the character would be motivated by what happened in the tavern, to come help us find the lost kids (which those living in the town should be more interested in than outsiders), the recriuitment wouldn't make sense until afterwards.


When you find the first child, the clock really, you'll have at most 3 days, and guess what it takes at about 1 day to get from the old monastery to town and another day to go back.

Do any of the characters (not me since I am new to the town) know how long it takes to get from town to the halfway home/old monastery??

(I take it that the old monastery and halfway home are one and the same.)

If they do then I can see someone saying we should turn back and get a healer in case the children are hurt.


The half-way house is alot closer, like two hour's walk, old monastery is about a day.

Then we'd probably go to the halfway house and if things lead us to the monastery, then go back and get a cleric since if one was needed the trip back would be too far in an emergency.

Throwing a bit of a wobbly into the mix. There is always the possibility of recruiting Stinky's brother ... I always saw him as a cleric/healer if you want to go with a straight clerical type, or a druid, obviously he's a gnome too... there's already a reason for him to be involved should you want to go down that route. Be happy for him to be NPC'd

Anyway I'm happy with Alkaid.
