Enga the Ratcatcher |
“Argh! Stupid lamia, stay still and let me hit real you!”
Enga makes a full attack action, two handed power attack against Lamia 2, using blessings of fervour to gain an extra attack.
Attack 1: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (10) + 18 = 28 damage: 1d4 + 20 ⇒ (3) + 20 = 23
Attack 2: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (17) + 13 = 30 damage: 1d4 + 20 ⇒ (1) + 20 = 21
Attack 1: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18 damage: 1d4 + 20 ⇒ (3) + 20 = 23
Attack 1: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (1) + 18 = 19 damage: 1d4 + 20 ⇒ (2) + 20 = 22
Enga has 24 rounds of rage remaining and 129 (rage) hit points.
Camlo!
Sefayll Valerian |
She's only blind this round if you are wanting to take advantage for sneak attack. I wasn't sure if you had another action to attack or not.
If Camlo's action doesn't kill a lamia, Sefayll will drop a fireball at the intersection of U-V/8-9. That should hit both lamias and miss all allies - though Elisile might be a little warmer for the experience.
Fireball damage, Reflex DC 19 for half: 9d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 2, 1, 2, 2, 3, 4, 1) = 25
If either lamia fails her save, she needs to make a second save to avoid catching fire and taking 3 points of fire damage each round for 1d4 ⇒ 4 rounds.

Lamia 2 Reflex save v Flame Strike 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (14) + 13 = 27
Two potential hits from Enga's attack
1d4 ⇒ 4
1d4 ⇒ 3
The two other attacks are within 5 of the AC, so they destroy the remaining image.
Lamia 1 Reflex save v Fireball 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (11) + 13 = 24
Lamia 2 Reflex save v Fireball 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (13) + 13 = 26
The lamia fighting Enga and Hudak is beginning to look desperate. She attacks with her flail and claws.
Lamia 2 attacks Enga
Flail 1 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (8) + 19 = 27, damage 2d6 + 5 ⇒ (3, 2) + 5 = 10
Flail 2 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (3) + 14 = 17, damage 2d6 + 5 ⇒ (3, 4) + 5 = 12
Flail 3 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14, damage 2d6 + 5 ⇒ (3, 6) + 5 = 14

Claw 2 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (20) + 12 = 32, damage 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Illes.
Illes Elandru |
When the little guy darts by him Illes fires up the wand and smacks him lightly.
"At this rate we're gonna have enough lamia hide for matching boots all around!" Isles suits in the shadowy corridor when he hears someone call out to the brothers Shoanti, "Wait... what? Elisile?"

5' to Q16
Inspire Courage +4 attack / +4 weapon damage, +4 morale vs charm / fear
Only affects those who can hear Illes. If you are silenced or move into silence you lose it.

Hudak 1.2 |
Hudak takes an extra attack from Blessing of fervour this turn:
Attack 1: 9+21-3 (Power Attack)+4(bard)=AC 31, damage 1d10+19+9 (Power Attack)+4(bard)=40.
Attack 2: 12+16-3 (Power Attack)+4(bard)=AC 29, damage 1d10+19+9 (Power Attack)+4(bard)=38.
Attack 3: 11+21-3 (Power Attack)+4(bard)=AC 33, damage 1d10+19+9 (Power Attack)+4(bard)=36.
If the first blow drops the lamia, he moves to X8. If it takes two blows, he just takes a 5' step to R10.

Elisile Starbrow |
“Hudak, you are in the way,” mutters Elisile, adjusting her position and drawing back her bow yet again.
5 foot step to u4. Full attack with rapid shot on the lamia with precise shot and bonuses from inspire courage.
Attack 1: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (19) + 14 = 33 damage: 1d8 + 6 + 1d6 ⇒ (1) + 6 + (6) = 13

Enga the Ratcatcher |
Using blessing of fervour to increase her speed by 30 feet, Enga will move to Y10 and make a two handed power attack on the remaining Lamia. She is outside of the silence area, so takes advantage of Illes' Inspire Courage

So Pixie Rogue is suffering from an attack of real life … I’m not sure that Sefayll would want to use another spell on this battle, and she’s not positioned terribly well to do much. Maybe she should delay at this point.

Ith posted to the WotR game last night my time, but may have run out of time or missed that it was his turn here.
I suspect that Illes may want to maintain the Inspire Courage (which means staying out of the silence zone) but get a bit closer to the action. He may want to stay out of line of sight of the lamia to avoid any spell attacks. Lets say move to R12 with a single move action, maintain Inspire Courage (+4 attack and damage to those not in the silence), leaving him a standard action if Ith decides he wants to do something else.
Hudak.
Hudak 1.2 |
5' step to Y8. He takes an extra attack from Blessing of fervour this turn:
Attack 1: 10+21-3 (Power Attack)+4(bard)=AC 32, damage 1d10+19+9 (Power Attack)+4(bard)=39.
Attack 2: 11+16-3 (Power Attack)+4(bard)=AC 28, damage 1d10+19+9 (Power Attack)+4(bard)=37.
Attack 3: 12+21-3 (Power Attack)+4(bard)=AC 34, damage 1d10+19+9 (Power Attack)+4(bard)=38.
The lamia, then Elisile.

Attack 1 1d4 ⇒ 3
Attack 1 1d3 ⇒ 2

Hudak smashes the last three images - the real lamia is now the only target. She fights on, but her face shows she knows the end is inevitable.

Enga has 22 rounds of rage remaining and 121 (rage) hit points.
Enga the Ratcatcher |
Enga seems to slump slightly as she comes out of her rage. She wipes the blood from her spear on the fallen lamia’s flank. “Never liked you two anyway,” she mutters. “Too high and mighty.”
The small humanoid sighs, then looks over at the elf woman with narrowed eyes. “You’re not supposed to be here,” she states, then looks past the elf to Sefayll. “Hey, should we kill her too?” she calls to the human wizard.
Elisile Starbrow |
Elisile peers suspiciously between the kobold and the human woman, but then lowers her bow and allows a slight smile to crease her lips. “Stars, Sun and Moon Alwyn Agnarrson,” she says, addressing the nearest of her former companions not currently enveloped by magical silence. “My thanks for the assistance – that might have gone badly.”
Alwyn Agnarrson |
"I have thought a lot about you, Elisile of the Mierani Forest. Something told me that you survived your long dive into the waters of the Varisian Gulf, but I had no inkling of where you were or what you were doing." Alwyn drops the formal tone, and breaks out in a huge smile. "It is good to see you again, especially in such a grim place as this."
He switches to Elven. "The kobold, it is the Hellknight's mind-slave; it is unbelievably tough and ferocious. It can't be trusted, though, and the Hellknight's magicks, potent as they are, will run out at some point. I'm not looking forward to the fight that will ensue then."
Elisile Starbrow |
Elisile raises an eyebrow, and replies to Alwyn in Elven. “Hellknight? I thought the mask and armour looked familiar, though they lack the usual embellishments and marks of rank. Does she understand this language?” She then switches to the tongue of goblins. “Or if so, this one?”
Alwyn Agnarrson |
"Oh yes, very much so, Enga. She'll come along as we look for Mokmurian. But now, let's loot the corpses and then move on." He pokes the nearest lamia with his boot. "You ruined the skins, you brutes," he grins in mock disappointment to Hudak and Enga. "No lamia-hide cloak for me, I guess."
He switches back to Elven. "Yeah, we're in, uh, disguise. It's a long story; 'll bring you up to speed later."
Xp? Booty?
Elisile Starbrow |
Elisile continues in elven, "The last I saw you, Hellknights were the cause of our troubles. Are you sure you are not being compelled or coerced in some way?"
She then greets the others in the common tongue, and casts detect magic on the corpses of the lamias and their altar. She makes sure to catch her companions in the area of the detect magic spell, looking out for the aura of any enchantment spells that they may be under. Not that she will find any, but Sefayll's presence makes her wary, doubly so once she realises she is adept at charms and compulsions.
Illes Elandru |
Soon enough the silence pops and sound rushes back in. Illes pockets his coin and looks Elisile over with one eyebrow arched "Now see I'd think you'd be surprised to see us since you left us being arrested by the Hellknights and all. Thanks for the rescue attempt."
"Well I guess it all worked out and I am glad to see you again. Cam's leather is nice and all, but somehow it isn't quite the same."
Wand of CLW on Camlo: 5d8 + 5 ⇒ (7, 4, 1, 3, 4) + 5 = 24
Elisile Starbrow |
"I am glad to see you again too Illes Elandru," replies Elisile. "I'm sorry for the lack of rescue; it was my intent, but I was otherwise indisposed. By the time I got back on track, word of your execution had reached me, so as any good follower of the Savoured Sting would do, I plotted revenge." She glances in Sefayll's direction. "It was some time before I realised that the news of your death had been greatly exaggerated. And yes, I note many differences between Camlo and myself. I'm taller for one."
Illes Elandru |
"Yeah. Taller... that must be it."
Who else needs healing? It is a newer format than when we started these games, but it would be useful to put current hp tallies in the status bar that shows by your name so that those who can heal know at a glance who is in need.
