Apparently they aren't going to make it. Adult Swim wanted it, but somebody told them no because it would cost too much. Korgoth was created by the guy who did Dexter's Lab, Billy and Mandy, and Spongebob.
Also- Korgoth's voice was Laurence from Office Space. Fun!
It's too bad though. That would been a great series. Better than a lot of the stuff they end up picking up these days.

Bogus. I cry now.
He is Hudak. A Shoanti.
He will not cry.....so I must cry for HIM.

It sucks that, even though I have identify in my book now, all we save is the 10gp for the casting. I can't even manufacture scrolls for it at much of a discount.
However, once Elisile gets a chance to copy it from my book to hers, we can identify a whole mess of loot in one day and save 10gp per casting. Might add up in the long run.
Also, Vethran doesn't really need the bracers of armor +1. I'll return them to the pile and anyone else who wants them can have them. If not, we sell them for 500gp and distribute the loot evenly.
Aubrey: While in town, I'm going to purchase a 1st-level pearl of power for 1,000gp.

Yeah, if we get some down-time after this I wouldn't mind borrowing your spellbook and scribing a few spells (and vice-versa) if Vethran doesn't mind.

A few last-minute shopping things that Vethran will pick up:
Potions of fox's cunning(x2), barkskin +2, invisibility, and cure moderate wounds. Total cost: 1500gp.
I'm still holding one Fox's Cunning to boost you as well. Started to get a Bear's Endurance for one of the fighter types, but I can't actually cast it at this point and Elisile has herself covered with Cat's Grace so I got one Eagle's to boost my own DCs.

How many of you guys are planning on getting the new PFRPG when it comes out? I ask because, as I read the previews coming out, I do find myself salivating a tad and can't help thinking, "What would it be like to convert the PbPs?" I'm getting them (eventually - i.e. via Amazon) but of course we live in straightened times and not everyone will want to fork out for the new game necessarily, especially when they have already invested heavily in 3.5. Also, we didn't convert to the Beta (which was, in retrospect, probably a good thing as we would have to reconvert to the final rules, and the ruleset changed as the process went on) and I know Fatey was unkeen as he felt he had the 3.5 rules down and didn't especially want to change at the time. On the other hand, it seems almost wrong not to convert the RotRL game since it is intended for Golarian-based characters, and if we decide to do that I will want to change the Eberron campaign too so I don't have to keep three sets of rules in mind (3.5, PFRPG and 4e) all at the same time. I would welcome your views.
I’m ok either way. I’m currently more familiar with 3.5, have a lot of books for it and as far as pbp games go, enjoy the ease of being able to access resources such as the Hypertext d20 srd to look up rules and spells and such. On the other hand, I like most of what I’m seeing from PF, and as a player its always nice to have some kick ass new abilities.
I’ll probably buy the new rules eventually … at this stage I’m in no hurry, but once its actually out I may find myself more eager. If you decided to convert in your games, it would probably convince me to buy sooner rather than later, which is probably not such a bad thing.
I suppose one thing to keep in mind (which may be a mark against converting) is that in both games a lot of us have taken non-core options for our characters, which may make conversion a little more difficult. Off the top of my head, questions like ‘do I Pathfinderise the Mystic Ranger variant or just convert Elisile to standard PF ranger?’ and ‘should warforged get a boost to bring them in line with the PHB races?’ arise. As much as PF is supposed to be backwards compatible (and I think in most of the ways that really matter it will be, despite what the drama-queens might cry) there’s always going to be niggling questions and problems with interpretations on how this or that non-core feat or variant class feature gels with the new rules.
That said, I’m up for the challenge of converting, but it might put some stress on you, the DM, to make a lot of those calls.

Good points all - and hardly an overwhelming endorsement, it must be said, of PFRPG in the context of the PbPs. Obviously I'm curious about what the others think, but a watching brief until the rules actually come out and some of us can look at them, and come to a conclusion, might be an idea.
By the way - Fakey, you OK? Not seen you for a while.
Heathansson(Manwolf Werewoof upper middle class twit 5)
WRT fakey--in his campaign discussion thread, he said he's got a lot of crap to deal with IRL so he's been somewhat absent..
needed to buy a new engine for the minivan and some other cruddy sounding crap.
I doubt I’m going to have too many problems with the rules as such, or that conversion will be a major headache. My main concern is not having the convenience of the srd online as a quick reference, but I’m sure I can live with that … and I think someone (or more than one person) was putting together an online PF srd (though I’m not sure if it was legal / approved … might have been taken down).
Hmmmm... Is Dravite down already? Even if he isn't, I really don't like our tactical situation. Also, is this a flesh golem? Does anyone have any weapons that can defeat its DR? This fight could get very ugly very quickly.

We must rely on absurd amounts of Power Attack, clearly. Elisile's acid arrow will probably help too. I... am pretty much totally useless for this one.
Guys, sorry about lack of posting last few days, been quite busy and when I have had time to post I couldn’t get on to Paizo. Will try to catch up today.

and for my next trick, I have decided that it is of utmost import for me to construct a scenario within which arson of the villain's domicile is key to the mission's success.

Good idea.
Actually though, reading back on Dravite's comment, I realised he didn't actually propose burning the place, but rather toppling the tower. I don't know how feasible that is, but might not be a terrible idea ... swmpy ground, rickety tower, we've got a couple of strong lads. Doable?
Hey Fate, I'm enjoying your latest WoD pbp. I've not seen the new WoD rules, and never really got into the previous versions that much (I knew a few too many emo vampire wannabes who played it, kind of turned me off), but your game so far has a suitably cool and mysterious beginning and an interesting cast of characters.

Just as well you always carry a block and tackle. You brought the block and tackle, right?
*Hudak roots around in his backpack; after a few minutes, he triumphantly pulls out a block-and-tackle assembly*
It's like those animal companions that are somehow still with you after traversing tightropes across pits of lava and swimming across crocodile-infested moats. "Where's Spots? Ah, there he is..."

Thank you. It's a little bit of work to get the party all together and working towards a common purpose, but I think things are progressing well.
Also, machinegun fire in the opening scenes. Can't go wrong with that.
In our current scene, how cool would this be: Elisile casts Enlarge person on Hudak, who proceeds to Power attack the ceiling, abruptly bringing our unseen foes on the next floor down to us. Sadly, I also think this would collapse the whole tower...

Sorry for slacking - I've needed a bit of a break to refresh, and work is a little bit heavy at the moment. I will try to get to you all soon.
Sorry about my unannounced abscence - we lost our TV and internet after some rough weather on Thursday. It's not back yet, but at least I can post from work.
Aubrey the Malformed(No peeking, please Rarely Accountant 2/Auditor 4/Waster 30)
Just to let you know, after this morning my posting will be disrupted until Sunday. A work do and then a brief trip to Spain.

Sorry for the sudden absence, folks. My home computer is presently out of order and I got laid off a couple weeks ago. Immediately after that, my mother passed away. It has been a very difficult time for me and does not show any sign of getting easier soon. Please do what you will with my characters. I have no idea how long it will be before I get regular access again. Sorry.
I'll be popping out from Mon to Thurs; may be back Thurs night unless I'm overly fatigued.
Somebody run Hudak; don't worry about if he gets whacked cos I get the feeling I might've overextended the chesspiece down the board and it's my fault.
Heathansson(Manwolf Werewoof upper middle class twit 5)
I can't think of a reason not to convert the PCs in this game either, once the fight with the lamia is over.
Cool, I've started updating Elisile.
Heathansson(Manwolf Werewoof upper middle class twit 5)
I'm hopefully going to do Hudak and Rodergo tomorrow night; got a sick toddler waking up multiple times a night and sleep might be at a premium; or my brain might not work too good.
I doubt Alwyn will get his oversized paws on that damned lamia, so I'll just start updating. I'll have to read up on the new rules on turning undead first, though.
Edit: I'll skip the Turn Undead feat - I prefer to just burn them up. No need to drive them off.
Edit: Alwyn's fully converted. He kicks a bit less ass now, but he's a much, much better spellcaster.
