nothing spectacular, except my piddly damage increases a bit and my studying an enemy takes less time (swift vice move)

Aubrey, so how would you like to handle the masters champions thing out it actually essentially being a person? As to that I did have few possibilities.

1) It is just someone who died, the simplest solution.

2) It is a collection of different people, this would have the advantage of not needing to worry too much about the past.

3) The personality comes in large part from Dread necro himself, would explain why it is absolutely loyal and the results of it dying.

Well, while it's mental faculties aren't particularly impaired, it isn't a specific person. It's debatable where it's personality comes from, since it's summoned rather than animated from an existing corpse. So I just leave it up to you. In Eberron terms it is a Karnnathi skeleton or zombie and loyal to it creator and the chain of command of the Karrnathi military (since necromancy is a state-sanctioned military technology and Wultram is ex-military himself).

I think I am going to go with something of limited personality, sentinent but not relly a person per se. Probably some fragments gathered from DNs psyche.

And I am not 100% sure but not far off but undead actually are not state sanctioned anymore. The treaty of thronehold prohibited the use of undead troops in military operations, might have been just creation of new ones though.(That is officially only though, out of the public eye practice continues.) Not that it would matter in this case, just thought to mention. I think it was in Forge of War book.

I'll check that out, but yes, the "technology" hasn't gone away. And I think it's OK to have a stash of undead if they are only for personal use.

Yeah private is fine. Assuming my memory is serving me correctly good analogy would be the use of hollow point bullets. I mainly noted it due to figuring such things would be of interest.

still havent leveled Nalverren, will do so hopefully within the next 3 days. i have barely touched a computer in the past week due to receiving my 2.25 tons of household goods; unpacking, assembling, sorting, placing, and throwing away of things.

You can have as many canoes as you like, though fewer paddlers per canoe means greater likelihood of canoe cock-ups in each boat.

Cole: Canoe +2 Perception +14 Swim +3
Otto: Canoe +3 Perception +8 Swim +0
Vaard : Canoe -1 Perception -1 Swim +3(I am not sure if lizardfolk get racial bonus)
Rehil: Canoe +4 Perception +11 Swim +7
Nalverren: Canoe +4 Perception +7 Swim -1
Wultram: Canoe +1 Perception +1 Swim -3
Skelly: Canoe -1 Perception +9 Swim +7
Ashshar: Canoe +6 Perception +10 Swim +13
Eshsheth: ? I guess it would be fair to assume somewhat higher skill in swim and possibility of canoe

So 3 bodies per canoe.

Rough suggestion. Reasoning is that each canoe has someone who can steer the thing, someone to notice things via perception, and if things go sour someone to swim. Also somewhat scattered roles should combat happen. Comments welcome I came up with it as I went along.

Canoe 1:
1) Rehil
2) Vaard
3) Otto
Notes: Rehil gives some ranged to the group(if needed), Vaard is melee and Otto caster.(Not that simple but those are the parts of them that made the group) Skill wise Rehil and Otto are skilled enough with canoe to handle it hopefully, Rehil can swim and Vaard has hold breath and possible racial bonus. Pervception wise it is unlikely that both Rehil and Otto will fail the check.

Canoe 2:
1) Ashshar
2) Wultram
3) Skelly
Notes: Ashshar can handle himself in combat but mostly is in the boat due to his skills. I assumed few of the group would be willing to sit with the skelly if Wultram is not there. Skeleton can handle melee and Wultram is caster, some ranged options exist. Wultrams horrible swim check is slightly off set by the fact that lizardfolk have hold breath and skeleton doesn't breath.

Canoe 3:
1) Nalverren
2) Cole
3) Eshsheth
Notes: This one was the hardest since it has unknown Eshsheth. I am hoping that combined they have pretty solid canoe skill as swim might be an issue if my asumption about the lizardfolk are not correct, then again cole does not need to breathe so that helps. Perception wise the boat is certainly set. Cole is out heaviest hitter in melee, so should offset any lackins in the lizardfolk. Nalverren is the closest thing we have to a 3rd caster. Javelins seem to be a thing among the lizardfolk so perhaps Eshsheth will bring in some form of ranged support.

I like the canoe assignments.

Lizardfolk do get a racial boost to swim, that's partly why Ashshar's swim is so high. Aubrey's original (1st level?) Vaard had a swim check of +8.
