HP roll: 1d6 ⇒ 4

N Warforged HP -10/23 Psion (Nomad) 3

Portforged is fully leveled up. It took the psionic body feat (as a prerequisite), and learned Ego Whip and Concealing Amorpha.

What the heck? The site just reverted my changes. :(

I guess I’ll do them again.

EDIT: And I swapped the favored bonus to get an extra skill rank to finally learn Draconic. :D

it'll take me a bit to level Nalverren, but it'll get done. Hopefully this week is slow at work.

I'd like to learn draconic some day, but I'm too busy fighting the last war.

Can't wait to see how Aubrey handles the bull rush against a canoe.

Got the global head of department's secretary sitting next to me today. Meaning the global head of department might be swinging past from time to time. So I might be a bit quiet during the day.

Hey Will, did you change your cavalier order? That's strictly against the rules, but I think your new order is a much better fit with your character so it's cool. However, if you want to do stuff like that, please ask first as it's something that should be discussed first.

Nalverren is finally leveled up. nothing too great of a change, took Mobility as a feat, took an Investigator talent that lets me use inspiration on a few more skills without expending a point of inspiration, and got another extract.

Cookie Jar Pilferer 9 ; Dimensional Explorer 4

Scroll, Headband, ring.

Scroll -- Will seems to be the only one who can use it. No brainer.

Ring -- I'd say Cole. He's in the thick of it and I like keeping the heavy hitters well-protected. He may be the only thing between us and a T Rex some day.

Headband -- Wultram or Will. (A quick check tells me PF is an Int based caster.) Metagame I'd say Wultram 'cause he's going to get more boost to his offense from it. In game, Will's got reason to press his claim and Rehil would probably back the squad medic.

HP 95/95 Temp 0 :: AC 24 CMD 24 :: Fort +10 Ref +5 Will +8 :: Conditions: none

Overall, I'm happy to let the people who have a reason to take any given item work it out between them. If we need to make the call as a team, below are my thoughts.

-----

Scroll: Agreed. No-brainer. Will should take it.

Ring: Cole is the obvious choice. He's most likely to eat the most attacks, and I certainly won't turn it down. Having the ring on Cole would make it that much easier to feel good about raging while tanking. :)

Alternately, we have a few folks who straddle the line between melee and ranged and will find themselves needing to be in melee every once in a while (Rehil, Nalverren, and Will come to mind). If we want to spread out the goods (and help boost some other folks' defenses), I'd actually vote for Nalverren or Rehil getting the ring. Will and Coles' are pretty solid.

Headband: I can see the argument for both Will and Wultram. If you two want to work it out between you, go for it. If it comes down to a vote, I'd vote for Wultram (Will's better served by providing him more means to quick healing as opposed to a slightly boosted Charisma, though I realize that helps him with clutch concentration checks).

HP 95/95 Temp 0 :: AC 24 CMD 24 :: Fort +10 Ref +5 Will +8 :: Conditions: none

Also, Wultram, my goal is to find a Wand of Repair Light Damage as soon as I can scrounge the coin and find a vendor. Having you with that wand could save a ton of wasted healing resources for the rest of the crew. :)

OK, I was sure you were Order of the Cockatrice or something. Anyway, no issue.

HP 40/40, AC:15, Fort:+3/Ref:+3/Will:+5 +2 on sleep, stun, paralysis, poison, disease, mind-affect, negative energy effects CMD: 14, Init+1, Perc+1

Scroll as mentioned is obviously for Will, well more to say he carries it. (as in the two cure criticals can be used on anyone.)

Ring, Well when raging Coles AC is 18 so maybe(41hp though without even raging), Will is at 22AC so seems sort of a waiste even if invulnerable healer is nice to have. Nalvarren and Rehil are both at AC 17 so there might really be need. I say if Rehil or Nalvarren feels the need for higher AC to not get stomped in melee give either them, if not then to Cole.

Headband: Well naturally I am biased in the situation but Will only has charm animal and CLW against undead that have saves on it, and both of those are kind of niche.(though in our current location charm animal is more useful than normal.) Will does have one big advantage over Wultram in the fact that he would get 1 extra 1st level spell where as Wultram would not by the increase. Oh I almost missed this Will has Natures whisper revelation so it does give him +1 AC an CMD.

Wultram on the other hand has majority of his spells offensive and has channel negative energy wich would get +1/day and +1DC. I suppose another advantatage is in the future that when we hit 4th level Wultramn benefits from it +1 2nd level spell where as Will does not.(doubly so because Will gets his 2nd level spells at 5th)

In summary: Right now it gives +1 1st level spell, +1AC and CMD to Will. And increase of +1 DC to Charm animal and CLW. To Wultram it gives +1 channel per day +1DC to channel and spells. I would say it is basicly a question of offense versus defense. I personally see as the former winning as it is much more likely that Wultrams benefits come into play than Wills.

Cole Sadly not on my spellist but I will take UMD next level and put some ranks in when I can spare them. With the big Cha I should have decent chance of using it. (I don't remember if Will has it.)

GM: As I was reading my character sheet for the headband discussion I noticed that I forgot to buy spell component pouch.(was thinking sorc with EM probably) OK if I just take the money out and add it to my equipment list?

It is slightly unfortunate that we don't have a "normal" arcane caster for stuff like this.

Wultram can just add the component spellpouch - it won't break the bank.

HP 95/95 Temp 0 :: AC 24 CMD 24 :: Fort +10 Ref +5 Will +8 :: Conditions: none

Yep. Renewed Vigor > Regenerative Vigor may have just become that much more important.

Brelish Human DM plot-hurrying turtle god fight Rogue 1 / Artificer 5 // Mythic Genius 1 ||HP: 52/52; AC 18; F:+3; R:+7; W:+4*; Init +3, Perception +13*

Yes, although I do shoot, that's mostly because I dont want to die. Nalverren is primarily a melee type, although he desnt get his premier melee ability until next level.

Cookie Jar Pilferer 9 ; Dimensional Explorer 4

Take UMD is on Rehil's to-do list also. Repair light damage is first level, yes? With at least two possible users the odds of failing the wand check completely are not too bad. The big problem is getting the wand in the middle of this jungle.

HP 40/40, AC:15, Fort:+3/Ref:+3/Will:+5 +2 on sleep, stun, paralysis, poison, disease, mind-affect, negative energy effects CMD: 14, Init+1, Perc+1

Well with 2 users the chances are pretty damn good.

DC to use a wand is 20.

Retry is possible untill natural 1 is used.(unless you got +19 modifier)

For simplicitys sake let's assume just 1 rank. With Rehil it is a class skil and 10 cha that means +4 mod(16-20 success). Wultram on the otherhand gets +5 out of cha so +6.(14-20)

With 2 natural 1s needed it would mean 40 rolls. So on average you could get 12 uses out of the wand in a day before it is locked off from use. Or in other words 66hp. If we get another wand on top of that, the chances of no healing because both of the wands are locked for the day are rather minimal.

Things will just get better as the UMD modifiers rise.

OK, we need to determine who gets the headband. And the ring.

HP 95/95 Temp 0 :: AC 24 CMD 24 :: Fort +10 Ref +5 Will +8 :: Conditions: none

Will's dog gets both.

Seriously, though, give the ring to Nalverren. Give the headband to Wultram.

Nearly 7 feet and 800lbs of battle-forged steel has spoken.

:D

Cookie Jar Pilferer 9 ; Dimensional Explorer 4

I cede Rehil's interest in the ring. He may be a little jealous in the game thread. That leaves Nalverren, Will, and Cole.

Headband -- Will or Wultram. I think the overall party benefit lies more with Wultram, but am happy either way.

Edit: Ninja'd by Cole. Nalverren of the Ring sounds ok to me.

N Warforged HP -10/23 Psion (Nomad) 3

I have no preference.
Cole: I forget if there is a psionic power which repairs constructs, possibly in the Eberron books. I'll check when I get home.

I do belive you have admantine body so what is this talk about steel :P

N Warforged HP -10/23 Psion (Nomad) 3

I'm guessing an adamantine body is heavier than a psiforged one...

Halfling Hp 26/26 AC 22 (+5 Perc; +0 Init; Fort +3, Ref +0, Will +3)

i don't really care either way.

so for the sake of simplicity i'll let Wultram Have it.

(the order of the paw was indeed chosen for the fluff reason more so then the mechanic one as +1 to AC to my AC isn't that great compared to the others stuff)

On the treasure front, this won't be all you get so a reasonable compromise is fine and the relative levels between PC's will be monitored to make sure everyone has roughly equal and appropriate loot. It's just that we are early on so not everyone has something cool yet. (If you survive, you might even get a trip to Ye Olde Magicke Shoppe.)

I'm kind of liking the low magical gear aspect of this adventure so far.

And I'm ready to move on.

It becomes an issue after a while, unfortunately, given the assumptions of the CR system.

I also have an unfortunate habit of not handing out much treasure at the best of times.

On that basis, let's assume Nalverren gets the ring, Wultram the headband and Will the scroll.

By the way, Nalverren - the Infusion alchemist's discovery allows your extracts to be used by people other than yourself. Might be an idea to consider when it comes to healing, buffs and so on.

Guys, I'm thinking of running a Wrath of the Righteous PbP here. I say "thinking" because it would be an additional commitement of time, albeit I don't plan anything that would be at much variance to the scenarios as written. Would people be interested? I'd be looking for the usual six or so players.

I'm already in a Wrath of the Righteous game on the boards.
