... But aren’t they slowed? Can they really take all these AoOs when they are limited to a single action a round? I guess AoOs are sort of non-actions so they can still make them?
They are limited to one action on their turn. Conveniently, Great Cleave is a standard action...
“Entreat the Silver Flame for forgiveness from your transgressions my friend! You are a good man, I pray your soul may find the Flame in this dark place,” Lightbringer yells back as he prepares to hew at the skeleton before him.
“Any of you who would retreat, there is no shame in it. I will remain to hold off the enemy and try to allow Runzyl to fight Galadaes!” is Lightbringer’s next shout.
Seething with rage, Runzyl settles his eyes on the smokey form of Galadaes. Even threatened as he is by the hulking undead in his midst, he boldly charges through their ranks at the spectre.
"Caela ie'lle!"
Spring Attack vs. Galadaes. Move to F17 for the attack. Attack roll: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (6) + 20 = 26 to hit, 1d6 + 11 + 1d6 ⇒ (4) + 11 + (5) = 20 damage (the second die of which is, of course, fire damage). After attacking, move to L11 (my speed is currently 70'). I provoke a lot of AoOs (but none from Galadaes!). If they actually choose to take them, my AC is 31 (hooray Mobility!).
"Fight me face to face away from your friends, coward! Prove that you've earned the right to inherit this body or die trying!"
Edit: After seeing the roll, I will add an action point to that attack roll, taking the higher of: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 2) = 4. So +2 to hit and, thanks to Bladebearer of the Valenar, +2 to damage.

The skeletons used their AoOs this turn on poor Wings-of-silver. And, as you probably noted, their attack bonus is +21, so they don't need to be particularly lucky to splat you.
If I decide to burn 2 APs to partially change my sword’s enchantment from a +2 undead bane flametouched iron longsword to a +1 ghost touch undead bane flametouched iron longsword, what kind of action am I looking at? Immediate, swift, move, standard, or full-round action?
A technical question - if Ezreal casts Command undead on Skeleton 2, can the clerics command it back to their side later? Even if they can, it might be worth it just to not be attacked by it for a round. For example, it could charge the cluster of clerics and Cleave the lot while Basher deals with Skeleton 3. Clearly worth it, I think.
Edit: Bah! No cleaving of clerics, as they arent adjacent to each other. Still, I like this idea better and better - I think the skellies are simply too tough for the clerics to command. Of curse, it needs to fail its own Will save first. :(

Korlar, then Gil.
In order to hit incorporeal entities, you also need a magic weapon.

Those that can See (for reference, Runzyl is one of those that can See, and always has been):
Spoiler:
Galadaes is fast and heavily armoured, but Runzyl is faster. His blade opens a bloodless wound across the face of Galadaes before the Valanar darts away with his magically enhanced speed. Galadaes ruefully touches the wound that jags across his cheek, and then grins maliciously.
Those that cannot See:
Spoiler:
Runzyl darts forward, his blade parting the smokey ectoplasm in front of him. He has clearly inflicted some sort of wound.
Runzyl:
Spoiler:
Your weapon isn't Bane against Galadaes, but it also clearly has the Ghost Touch property.
Jalana moves to D28 (taking a route to avoid AoOs) and casts Cure Moderate Wounds on herself healing 3+7+5 = 15, drawing her scimitar on the move. She maintain Bardic Performance (epic poetry in her case) as a free action.
Jalana sucks up the damage from the arrow assault. Declaiming the feats of the ancestors in flowing verse, she moves to Rolund's side.
Runzyl is at 65 hps. Gil hasn’t been targeted and is still at full hps – 51. Jalana is at 22 hps after her recent action. Rolund is at 61 hps. Janosz is at 2 hps after Lightbringer’s channel energy. Ezreal is at 32 hps after flubbing the reflex save against the cone of cold. Basher is at 30 hps. Wings-of-silver is dead. Lightbringer is at 42 hps. Rodergo is at 12 hps.
Gil's intent is to scorch a skellie, but I don't have the map on this workstation. I'll post later unless someone wants to handle it. She will likely move 5' back, retrieve the scroll, and cast, if she can do it out of skellie reach.
Gil moves back another step to A25 as she withdraws a scroll provided by Ezreal. Scanning through it, she finds the spell she's looking for. Targeting one of the skeletons skellie 3 in front of Basher, she reads through the scroll and pushes her hand towards the mountain of bones. Scorching Ray, DC 22 to cast, 8d6 fire damage if successful.
Use Magic Device 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (2) + 16 = 18
Damage 8d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 6, 6, 2, 2, 2, 6) = 32
EDIT: Action point for the UMD check. Better of 1d6 ⇒ 5,1d6 ⇒ 6
EDIT 2: Phew.
EDIT 3: Realized I failed to roll the ranged touch attack. 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Runzyl is at 76 HP. I was standing in E20 when LB channeled energy to heal for 11 from E22. I was definitely in the radius, Mothman just forgot to note me in the list of "people affected." :)
Gil- make another ranged attack roll. That scroll has 2 rays which are 4d6 each and they each require a ranged roll to hit.
also you have at least another +1 to hit from jalana's music and possibily another +1 if you are hasted.
Oh, so that should not have been 8d6 for the first damage roll, anyway. I did that last time, too. My notes in the character sheet are boggered. Gil did not include herself in the Haste effect.

You're right. I was doing the calculations from the posts I was reading.
BTW, Gil should add another +1 to her attack. Jalana's inspire courage is +2.

Correct, for some reason I hadn't plotted Runzyl or Galadaes on my map at the time. Runzyl was 2 squares from LB I beleive.
Gil and Ezreal fire rays at one of the skeletons, and its bone scorch and snap under the assault. As Janosz rolls away from the blades of the skeletons Rolund invokes the powers beyond and slashes once, twice at the shade in front of him.
Those that can See:
Spoiler:
Rolund slices open the rogue with a ragged cut across the neck and another follow-up return stroke slicing off his assailant's rapier hand. The wounds refuse to bleed but the elf collapses, his body evaporating like water poured on hot metal with a thin shriek. In seconds, there is no trace of the rogue or his equipment.
Those that can't:
Spoiler:
Rolund's blade parts the smoke-formed shade into discrete parcels of ectoplasm that hang momentarily in the air. These quiver and attempt to reform, but with a sigh they instead dissipate into whisps that vanish as the shade is banished back unto death.
