As for the announcement, I'm not sure it will help us much. A VTT would require us to be around at the same time to derive much benefit. And as descibed it's only for Paizo products. So I'm a bit unsure what it all means at the moment.

OK, the game is grinding quite slowly at the moment. In particular, LB and Runzyl seem to be either absent or very intermittent. It would be painful to lose these two but I think they will have to be temporarily retired unless Mothy and Fatey make themselves available.

Unfortunately, I think you're right. Hopefully its not a permanent thing. However, with LB and Runzyl out, we'll lose our two biggest hitters. Janosz excels at ranged combat but he and Rolund will never be as good at melee combat.

I bet we'll figure out a way to make it work. Ez and Rod can start pulling out summons when we need more muscle. Ez will have to learn them first, but sooner or later... We might be able to buff up Bor a little, maybe loan him some gear.

If the loss of front line power becomes an issue IC, I can see it pushing the Karrns of our group to do what Karrns do best. Ez can start animating and passing control to Rolund as it is a class feature he never uses. It would cause a fuss IC, but if our characters felt it was necessary we could work through that and it might be fun doing so. If we don't have an active paladin in the group I'd have less reservation about it as it always seemed like a dick move to go in that direction knowing it would be a problem for his alignment.

Also don't sell Rolund short. He might not be able to hit with as much raw force as LB, but I bet he could hold his own. And as long as he could at least manage to tank with his AC Janosz will pile on the ranged damage.

I'm pretty sure Aubrey will take into account our loss of muscle in his campaign. And while Rolund has some decent AC sadly he doesn't have the hit points to take much punishment.

Seeing as Rolund is last in wealth, I'm hoping to boost his AC further with some enhancements on his armor or shield. But I'm having trouble in how to accomplish this. I can't see Rolund walking into a mage shop and leaving his armor and/or shield to have it enhanced.

Well, the number of PCs will drop to 5 if LB and Runzyl retire. It might be worth recruiting one extra - what do you think? I'd prefer not to have two more as one, other or both might return, but I quite like having the milling horde of characters in this game.

As for AC for Rolund, we could boost natural armour and/or deflection reasonably easily.

I kind of imagine both guys will be back, just a question of when. One more sounds fine to me if you guys want to expand a little.

I think if we get another PC, I might retire Bor - he's lucky to still be around given his fairly low hp as it is.

I started an obsidian portal page for this game the other day just to help me as a wiki to keep the plot and cast of characters straight.

General pace of all pbp leads to people forgetting the details when it has been months or years since a clue or point of reference went by. I'm terrible about that. It may take me a long time to get much of anything done over here, but I've been having fun doing searches for a character and remembering scenes or details I had forgotten about.

Anyway- this is just the beginning of a list of characters and pics for them at the moment. A few have details and I'll be filling the rest out as I go.

We're going to the Peloponnese this time. Family vacation at sister in laws folks' place near the beach. I always get a laugh because pretty close to them we drive through a sleepy village named "Demons." Demonia in Greek.

On my drive home there was a car fire, stalled semi, and closed highway past my exit due to a zombie invasion probably.

We are on the road again today. I'll chime in on both threads once we get settled this evening. Excited about the Project Prosper reveals. I've been trying to figure out if we knew more about it than the tiny shreds I could remember.

So the actual shard in the forge must be holding goshanan the kalashtar if he imprinted on the crazy warforged. I don't see any way we could retrieve it now. Is it possible that Fourgri got it and managed to phase out with it?

We really need to stop using the tent to travel. The enemy seems to be waiting every time we use that trick.

Ahh yeah. Had read that one hastily a few days ago. So Ranticar has the shards. We can assume one if the Kalashtar. I'm guessing one is something benevolent that has imprinted on Faith and the third shard must hold a demon or devil or something evil that has left a mark on Darkheart. Just a guess that the trio are tied one to each shard.

We left Norn with the kalashtar in sharn right? I seem to remember he was nearly catatonic after being slave labor and they were trying to set him right.

That's the last you saw of him. Not necessarily where he is now.

Yeah, I wanted to apologize again for my lengthy and sporadic absence. I've been settling into a new job and they're rotating me through different shifts to get a feel for where I'll work best and whatnot.

My home computer has completely died at this point, so Internet access at home is virtually non-existent. I've been reluctant to browse recreational sites at work until now because, well, I don't want to give the impression that I'm not committed to working (it's a REALLY good job, and I seriously don't want to screw it up) and I also frankly haven't had much time with all the training and orientation stuff I've been doing.

However!

Now I am adequately settled in and frequenting both these boards and the Internet in general more regularly. My current work shift is 11pm - 7am EST, so expect updates from me in the wee hours of the morning.

Guys, had a guy called Tenro message me about joining the game. We were considering bringing in an extra person to potentially take over from LB, so it seems opportune, and since Basher is dead he could play Bor for the moment. Any thoughts?

Hi guys, i am making some changes to the minotaur at the DM's direction and he will be ready to play. over the next few hours i will be trying to catch up on the campaign as it stands and figure out just where the minotaur is. i found the current character sheet, so that's a start :D

thank you. I started reading all the way at the beginning. i will work on Bor once i actually get to his part of the story and understand him better. that said, it may be awhile before i can actually contribute (there's a lot to read :D )

If I remember right, it took me about two weeks, reading for 4 or 5 hours a day on work time when I shouldn't....That was a couple of years ago!
