Well here we are, once again at the beginning. I've gotten one character idea, so as the rest of you come up with one, shoot it up over here. Same drill as last time.

I've put together both a ranger and a fighter, I'm just not sure yet which I want: more nifty feats or the ability to contribute some skills.

Well this is the Sorc so far. Changed to a human, just fit better with how I was starting to picture the character. Besides, I think the dhampir will be giving us enough suspicious looks. :)

Only thing I found was that you didn't add your str bonus to your scimitar damage.

Allen ya ma want to check out Lilyana's stats and add her con bonus to her hit points..... pretty sure that sorc starts with a d8 and you have listed 8 hp and a con stat of 14..... should be at 10hp I believe.

You only used 24 points out of your 25 point buy.

I will add a point to my Con. and I will make his age 19.

Also your diplomacy skill is off. And your attack bonuses seem to be off. Fencer trait only gives you a +1 to AoOs not every attack. You also have the crit for your rapier being x3 when it's 18-20/x2.

Also, you can't have fencer and deft dodger. You can only pick one of each kind of trait.

Lastly, you also went 103 gp and 5 silver over your starting cash (including what you said you had leftover) I think you may have either taken max starting gold or rolled really well. But we're doing average starting cash. I didn't state this before though so that could be my bad. I thought everyone knew.

So for everyone else... we're using average starting cash.

Kirk, your gear comes to 1,037 gp. Your starting gold with the rich parents trait is 900. A common mistake. If you read the trait it says your starting gold is increased to 900, not by 900.

Basically all you need to do is get rid of your extra gold. That'll bring it almost even, and then maybe a couple scrolls and you should be GTG.

Actually she can't as she didn't take any diplomacy/bluff/intimidate skills. She's going to be pretty reserved. Mostly because I don't like to RP with myself. :)

Sure... why not. Just means I can be that much more mean to you later. :)

Always remember that a GM is LE. No GM "gives" you anything, it's an investment. And he will want to see a return on said investment.

Having read the entire first book, I can guarantee you that you'll get your money's worth. Especially sense you didn't pay anything. :)

lol probably shouldn't say money worth should say "character pain" or some such. as has been pointed out the gm is LE.... sometimes with the emphasis on the E! we still loveya but on the pbp we cant bring snacks to the game session in hope that the gm will be appeased enough to withhold raining down complete devastation on the innocent heads of his players.

picked up genius guide to : feats of runic magic 1 and 2 today. 2x3$ pdfs. don't suppose I can get feats from them for my cleric? lots of interesting things in there for spell casters and non spell casters too.

If allowed I will probably foucs on runic feats for almost all feats this character gets.

So I was thinking since dhampirs have an insatiable thirst for blood that drives some of them mad, I might take some levels of barbarian for RP purposes. I thought is might be cool. Lemme know what you guys think!

I also typed my backstory and appearance up on my "character sheet."

I changed Ionacu to a ranger, complete with partial equipment changes, skill, feat, class ability, and so forth. I chose the shapeshifter archetype, but for the most part, I'm gonna play him the same way.

After looking over the posts while I was gone, here are my comments.

Unfortunately I am not going to allow the runic books there Tiberious. Good try, though.

I like the idea of some barbarian, Ionacu, as I also like the idea of a ranger. Gives us some more fighting ability.

I know we have three for this one now. And I don't know if Michele will be able to do this one. So I'm waiting to see if Jeff or Mandy will.

Ok have a background and description in place and picked out my last feat. Just need to get everyone else in place and we can see what kind of evil we can come defeat and bring the honest light and fiery healing of Sarenrae into this dark benighted land!

Jeff seems to be incommunicado, so we're still waiting on one more. If Mandy can make it, we'll be golden. If not, well I've done campaigns with just two players before, we could start and see who might join later. Or I could put out a general call on the boards and I'm sure I'd have three replies in ten minutes. :)
