Ian Marros |

Ian will move up as far as he's able, keeping Cheyle restrained and in front of him. He squints at the newly formed pit.

Leo Spellworthy |

Once it gets to Leo's turn:
If the man has climbed out of the pit without surrendering, Leo will cast Hold Person on him, hopefully giving his allies the time to take him down.
Otherwise, he'll ready Hold Person (Will save 19) to cast on the man when he climbs out, or if he breaks his surrender by attacking/attempting to flee.

GM Ascension |

Leo Spellworthy |

Leo looks surprised at the sound breaking glass.
GM: Does the glass shatter in time with the sound of the person hitting the bottom of the pit, like the fall broke something? Or did it happen moments after?

Roland La Vallette |

Roland frowns on hearing the glass break. better check that out He quickly then bounds to the stairs and squeezes himself up to the pit and standing on the edge looks down to see the man. Assuming he is still there, he smiles, shakes his head for just a second, sorry grand-dad, I'll fix you up later, and jumps down into the pit after the man.
Roland's move rate is 40', and 60' of move will get him to the edge of the pit with all the staircase squares as half-move squeezing. If the guy is still at the bottom of the pit, he'll proceed with the plan to jump in after him. He'll try to crash into the guy for maximum impact if possible, otherwise as much of a "controlled fall" as he can. If the guy is not visible at the bottom of the pit, he'll free action talk to let the rest of the group know and then use his remaining 20' of move to back away from the edge of the pit back down the staircase.
Assuming it's been over 7 minutes since we dim door'd into the hideout, Roland's active Spells are Mage Armor, Greater Magic Fang, Barkskin and Bear's Endurance. Current stats are just below his name

Leo Spellworthy |

With Roland moving towards the pit, Leo will advance near by (but not close enough to fall in, if this means he'll not be able to see what is happening within, that is alright) to be ready to provide him with support if need be.

GM Ascension |

With everyone else moving into the hide out room Roland squeezes into the narrow stairwell to peer into the pit. The pit is empty except for dozen of slivers and shards of glass lying on the floor. Calling out to the others he backs out of the passage.
Only been about 5 minutes Roland, so your shorter duration spells are still running.
Glitterdust only coats what is the area of effect of the spell.
Rilumin still has an action he can take if he wants to.
Round 2
Serelina and Ian still have actions they can take if they wish to

GM Ascension |

Standing in the pit is the faint blue outline of the man, shrouded by invisibility magic. In order to get close enough to see to the bottom you needed to use a double move, and were only able to retreat halfway out of the narrow stairwell.
There is a second sound of tinkling glass from within the pit.
Party may act again. Serelina is at F23

Roland La Vallette |

Roland shakes his head as Serelina announces that the man was in fact invisible. He then dashed back up to the edge of the pit, and just before jumping in looked back at the mage. You really must teach me that spell someday!
Move action to run into the pit. I'm assuming Roland can't also try to attack into one of the other 3 squares at the bottom of the pit but will if allowed
Also, stats revised to reflect Shield and Expeditious Retreat still active

Ian Marros |

Ian will try to keep close to the action, but doesn't do anything, just keeps a hold of Cheyle.

Leo Spellworthy |

Hearing that the person is invisible in the pit, after Roland drops in, Leo will draw forth his scroll of Invisibility Purge from one of the two scroll cases hanging at his hip, and ready it's use on the trigger of...
(He'll drop his light coin as a free action if needed to to ready his scroll)
"Holler if they get out of the pit!" Leo shouts into the stairway toward Roland, and looks at Serelina so she understands as well.
If Roland gives Leo the signal, he'll take his readied action to cast from the scroll.

GM Ascension |

Serelina casts glitterdust down the pit, then backs away.
Because Serelina ended her previous turn half way in the corridor either this action takes place, or Roland jumping in the pit takes place, as Serelina does not have enough movement to back out far enough for Roland to get past, then move back in to cast the spell.

Leo Spellworthy |

Oh dang, Glitterdust. Since she goes before me, that would change my declared action as well.
@GM: Would you like me to roll a spellcraft to see if I understand what she casted and so would know that I'd not need to get out my purge invisibility scroll anymore?
If so: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30

GM Ascension |

Definitely high enough to know the purge isn't needed
Will save to prevent being blinded d20 + mods = 19
As the glittering dust coats the man he rubs an arm across his brow, clearing the golden dust from his eyes. He glares at Serelina with vehemence as he stands from his prone position at the bottom of the pit, then shoots straight into the air, his blade coming free of its sheath as he does so. The weapon casts a warm glow like that of a torch around the man.
He stops at the height of the stairs, floating in the air next to the hidden door. He bellows at the top of his lungs, "We have a breach."
Party may act

Leo Spellworthy |

On Leo's turn, if the man isn't already incapacitated, he runs his right hand's thumb over his holy symbol amulet and gestures toward the flying man outlined in Serelina's magic, casting his unaugmented Hold Person spell

Rilumin Nilvoril |

more if he is an Orc or Dwarf

GM Ascension |

As Rilumin fires a volley of arrows at the armored man, Leo's spell strikes him with full force, seizing up his limbs. The first three arrows find their mark, the last shatters on the mans armor. Unable to move the man begins drifting back down into the pit.
Will save d20 + mods = 17
Serelina, Ian, Roland

Ian Marros |

Ian will ready a full attack of non-lethal vs Cheyle if reinforcements appear from the man's yelling, but otherwise will wait.

Roland La Vallette |

With a slight sigh, Roland casts a spell on himself, granting his fused eidolon form the ability to fly. He then squeezes up the staircase to the pit and flies next to the paralyzed man.
Standard action to cast Evolution Surge for Perfect Flight through his lesser metamagic rod. Then move action to fly to the enemy

Roland La Vallette |

Roland smiled slyly at the man, his face just inches from the aasimar's. You'll find this hard to believe, but today is your lucky day! Had one of my companions caught you in this unfortunate predicament, they probably would have slit your throat. As it is, I'll just pummel you senseless. Sweet dreams, we'll talk later. Balling up his clawed hands to avoid killing the man, Roland then proceeded to beat the man into unconsciousness.
Free Action talk and then full attack action for non-lethal damage. Each attack would normally be at a -4 penalty for non-lethal damage, but since the guy is helpless Roland would get a +4 bonus to hit. Also, the guy's AC should be adjusted down to a Dex of 0.
Attack #1 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (18) + 11 = 29
Damage, if hits 1d6 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14
Attack #2 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (8) + 11 = 19
Damage, if hits 1d6 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 16
Attack #3 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (7) + 11 = 18
Damage, if hits 1d6 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14
Attack #4 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (8) + 11 = 19
Damage, if hits 1d6 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13

Roland La Vallette |

Using his form's immense strength, Roland slung the man's body over his shoulders and flew back towards the party. When he arrives he quickly disarms the man and ties up his hands and arms. Unfortunate he decided to yell, that may have blown our element of surprise. Perhaps we should leave and get our prisoners back to the Tower, yes?
Assuming the group agrees, Roland will carry the unconscious man while Ian handles Cheyle. Leo can let Roland know if the guy starts to wake up. We'll then head back into the 2nd hideout room and out to the safe house Cheyle mentioned

Ian Marros |

"'We got a breach?' Sounds like somethin' important up there. If we give 'em time they'll pack up and move shop. But I'll follow your lead, mage."

Leo Spellworthy |

Leo considers Ian's comment. "I... agree with Ian. These are a people used to moving things under our nose, if we give them the opportunity to hide their secrets they may do just that once more. I'm prepared, let's find out what they've got up there!"

Roland La Vallette |

Roland nods in acquiescence to the group's wishes. Very well then! Unfortunately I cannot make that pit go away just yet, but half a minute from now it should be gone. In the meantime, I'll make myself invisible and check things out on the other side of the secret door. Let's keep those prisoners under control too! With that Roland leaves the man's unconscious body by the party, flies back over to the secret door and casts invisibility on himself. He then proceeds to open the secret door and see what is in the Wailing Spirits bedroom.

Leo Spellworthy |

Leo will take the man, laboriously, and place him back against the wall, hopefully out of the way of any fire fight. He'll scrutinize the unconscious man closely for a moment to make sure he isn't just faking unconsciousness, including swiftly yanking out a few of the man's hairs (beard hairs if he has it) to test his flinch.
He'll finish searching the man (including with detect magic) for anything noteworthy while keeping an eye on him. "Hey, his sword is magic, should probably take it with us. Anyone have a strong back?" He'll point out the weapon Roland disarmed as well as anything else he finds (minus scrolls, and potions) to whoever has a better carrying capacity.

GM Ascension |

Leaving the unconscious man on the floor Roland heads back up the passage while Leo begins searching the mans pouches.
You find two potion vials in the bags, along with 50 gold.[/ooc]
Opening the hidden door at the top Roland finds the bouncer standing at the doorway to the main room of the brothel. One of the girls is inside the room itself, a dagger in her hand, moving towards the secret door. She stops when it opens, her eyes going wide at the sight of Roland.
Inits 19, and 6
Keeping parties same init rolls as just an extension of the combat.
The bouncer shouts out behind him, [b]"Kleonna, we've got serious company." then rushes forward, cudgel raised to strike at Roland.
Attack d20 + mods = 14
Party is up. The woman is 10' away and hasn't acted yet. The bouncer is standing next to Roland - he can take a 5' step to get out of the narrow confines. The pit will disappear at the beginning of Roland's next turn.

Roland La Vallette |

Roland brushes aside the bouncer's cudgel and advances to the door with the Wailing Spirit's main room. He stops briefly next to the girl with the knife and in a steady, clear voice says, I would STRONGLY recommend not attacking anyone with that. Drop the knife, sit quietly in the corner and you will not be harmed. He then proceeded into the main room of the Wailing Spirit, intent on blocking the door from anyone leaving.
Double move into the main room of the brothel, taking AoO's from the bouncer and the girl (if she chooses). The plan is to move to the front door of the establishment, but I'd like to know what Roland sees in the main room before doing so.
