I honestly haven't played anything other than the Demo of God of War...
As much as I've tried to revive this, I'm willing to call it and try it again from the top. Anyone still interested and active here can go sign up there with a similar character, and we won't get hung up on people who aren't active.
Just keep in mind the things I said when the first iteration of this one got out of control.

Eh, just Spark in general. He does it fairly often as I recall, though I can't think of specific instances.

They weren't all that hard, individually. Since they were spells, I had a +27 to get DC 37. So I made it on a 10 or better. On the other hand, successfully rolling 10 or above (55%) 3 times in a row only has a 16% chance of happening.

So, uh... considering all the absolute mayhem that's been going on in the story as of late, I caught up a whole lot faster than I expected. Pages sure fly by when you don't stop reading like at all.
So, uh... holy crap @ the stuff going on!
And yeah, sad that it's gonna be ending in May, but all things considered, looks like it's shaping up to be a worthwhile finale. As you say, all good things and whatnot. Sometimes there is a very right spot to end things, and this looks like one.

You're about two months too late, although Azaelas just mentioned the idea of killing this arena (which has kindof stagnated) and starting over. So keep an eye open.
Still trying to figure out everything.
So far I have:
You gain XP from beating your foe & gain Reputation which will act sort of like bonus GP. Reputation will be usable for things like Consumables & Resurrections in the Middle of a Fight.
You might get put up against another Player or Challenges that are GM Based. Or even both. So you might have to fight your other players, a Pack of Lions, or Both.
