About a Month behind what it was. Though it will probably be shorter.
I have the new dates up in the Doc.
I really hate doing this.
I know how things like that go. It's frustrating, but life is what it is.
I hope that whatever the reason is either a good-but-ill-timed event, or something that turns out to be less serious than it seemed.
We'll be here. And probably thinking up more characters :)

10 attacks as a Standard!? How is that even possible!?
And this is going to be interesting... Just had to pick that terrain...
I'm curious about that too. I didn't think anyone could manage that except maybe gunslingers with double-barreled pistols.

I think the most dangerous part is the Pressure Points. If you focus all 10 attacks on an enemy you can drop a score by 10 and knockout an opponent. I mean most monsters have fairly low Cha scores so you focus on that and they are out in a round or two. Then if they do decide to heal they waste a standard action. I mean being a bard you have good knowledge skills so you could easily identify their weakest attribute and then they are done.

Hmm, I have gotten 9 attacks with a TWF Fighter who used Twin +x Speed Weapons.
It is the 10th attack that throws it off...
Primary Hand: 4 attacks
Off-Hand: 3 attacksSpeed Weapons: 1 attack
...that's only 8. What am I missing?
(You only ever get one extra attack, regardless of how many speed weapons you currently possess.)

Somewhat off topic, but I just had a thought I wanted to throw out there.
All these arenas are based on being a certain level - what if we had an "organic" arena. Build a 7th level character, and after every match, advance 3 levels. Or something along those lines.
I'm not in a position to try and organize something like that right now, but if there's interest and no one else has done it, I might try to start it up in January or February.

When was that ruling passed? Last I knew it referred to only one additional attack per weapon.
I think it was ruled upon in v3.5. (You can find it in the FAQ there.) If that's not enough for you though, there is also this:
Amulet of Mighty Fists: If a creature with multiple natural attacks (such as bite/claw/claw) wears an amulet with the speed property, does it get one extra attack with each of its natural weapons?
No... mainly because that combination is way too good for monsters with multiple attacks, and gets better the more natural attacks a monster has. Doubling a creature's attacks per round is really powerful, even for 80,000 gp (the price of a +4 amulet).

...and...
Speed: When making a full-attack action, the wielder of a speed weapon may make one extra attack with it. The attack uses the wielder's full base attack bonus, plus any modifiers appropriate to the situation. (This benefit is not cumulative with similar effects, such as a haste spell.)
You cannot get more similar than the same ability.
...as well as...
...multiple discussion threads where several respected forum members make much better arguments than I.

AoMF is not the same as a weapon.
You also have to look at the fact that it also specifies that it only applies to the individual weapon.
So Haste wouldn't allow you to make an extra attack with a speed weapon BUT it will allow you to make an extra attack with a secondary weapon you are wielding.
So say you had a single attack with each weapon and two speed weapons. You would end up with 2 attacks with each weapon.
At least it seems that way to me.

Ok figured I would present this option up before it would become a major Necro-Post.
Would you prefer to hold off on this Arena (or heaven forbid let it die) in favor of making a "Mega-Group" "Player's World" Sandbox PvP/PvE Campaign?
While that sounds like it could be fun, I'm still interested in the Arena idea as well.
Of course, assuming you would still be the one running it, I'd think it is probably more about what you would prefer to run as a GM. I won't be picky. If I don't want to play it, I just won't play it :P
So, bottom line... either?

I'm not sure what you mean by that. Can you elaborate?

Basically the number of Players will be the same but will be more of a standard campaign where you guys form Parties and such.
This is something I use to help train new GMs.
It basically is:
-The Players design the main over-world map and the higher level details of the world. Basically, What races are feature in the world and their commonality and the geographical map.
-It would be totally open to you guys once I finished the lower level details. You guys could choose to compete against each other or work together. You guys could even continue with Arena-esque fights in a Gladiatorial Arena in the world.
-25 PBS.
-All Paizo content on the d20pfsrd is legal. 3PP & Forum content will be allowed if I find it balanced.
-Probably use the Medium XP progression. Starting at Level 1.
-It will be a Nothing-Held-Back campaign. So you would probably get the chance to try out a few different builds.
Basically the story is you will be part of a "Guild" similar to that in the Fairy Tail manga.
I am up to run either. I just figured this might attract a bit more players and might be a bit more fun for some.
Think of the Campaign World as like some MMOs you can challenge other Players or go on Missions/slay Monsters to earn Gold and XP.
Any more specific questions?
