Suddenly, Kazgar stiffens, quite literally, as he and all his gear turn into a dwarven statue 60' up in the air.

There's only one possible result if you drop a statue from that high up... and the ex-dwarf shortly becomes an ex-statue as well, as he and all his gear shatter upon hitting the ground.

The magic of his glove of storing gone when it shatters, a stone rod of absorption goes skittering across the ground away from the impact - perfectly intact, except made of stone.

You wouldn't believe how hard I'm kicking myself for forgetting to draw the rod. But it was stored, so it didn't count as held, and was thus useless.

Actually you Cauldron wouldn't turn to stone but will sink back down to the ground.

There's only one possible result if you drop a statue from that high up... but the caldron he's in protects him from the fall as it gently sinks down to the ground.

There is now a stone statue of a dwarf in a metal cauldron sitting on the ground near the center of the arena. A dose of stone salve (like the one he doused himself with earlier) would restore him, but any extras he might have been carrying are now stone stone salve inside a stone backpack, and are quite inaccessible.
