Keriann Caitlan/Elizabeth Grey has resigned from the campaign for unknown time for personal reasons. Both teams are now down to four (in Team Beta Karnicore resigned, which just so happened there teams counterpart Kerian).

The numbers on the board show groups of bunnies. A bunny picture with a 3 next to it means 3 bunnies are occupying that space. When ever you kill one, reduce the number by 1. When only 1 is left in a square, remove the number. When the last one in the square dies, remove the icon.

You can keep track of the score if you wish, but I'm not going to. these critters are close to infinite, seeing how they breed like... well like rabbits actually!

Suddenly, a black rift opens beneath Keriann and sucks her in. A furious screech is heard as the disturbing looking fey is drawn into the vortex.
"Ah, my apologies" the owl explains "It appears that miss Keriann was recalled for an emergency physical evaluation after an experiment of similar biology in another test-chamber just went into a full cardioid relapse. Incidentally, I have just been authorized to perform as her replacement for the current test. Just tell me where you want me to stand and I will comply."
The little owl flutters over to the circle Keriann had been standing on just moments before.

meanwhile, some of the bunnies are starting to roam about

"Does someone else want to eat those bunnies? Or shall we just continue forming these points of data to make a beautiful line?" BLOB asks the rest of the group.

"Actually the platform Mint is on hasn't lit up yet. Okay someone kill them now. Maybe something will happen." BLOB looks on anticipating a change to come soon.

Ah, sorry, my bad. Yes Mints circle DOES light up. In fact...

... As soon as the pillar that Mint came from sinks all the way back to ground level, the one the owl now occupies, plus the one Mint entered last begin to glow brighter, until they match the intensity of the one Svitz is standing on.
The light bulb on the leftside of the door changes to bright green as well. But the door remains shut.

Svitz looks around at the button lay-out and the mass number of bunnies.

"Maybe we should kill all the bunnies and pile their corpses up on another platform path to turn on the other light"

when you place the dead bunnies on the circle:
Nothing happens

control room:
"Make a note: Blob and Svitz both appear to believe that killing is the solution for everything. Oddly enough though, neither have showed any aggression towards its team-mates and even ask for permission, before starting rampaging slaughter. This in contrast to Toxicroak who went beserk as soon as it saw a rabbit attack Keriann and has now moved to the farthest corner it could find. The Frost Ursa's may make for good bodyguard."

Lol. The commentary from the observation/control room is definitely the icing on the cake for this game ^-^ It really brings another layer of character to the critters when you make comments like that. What seems like a logical choice to do sure can be misconstrued in hilarious ways :)

Blob of aberrant goo

Ah the light is up, looks like the bunnies don't matter. Mint you lazy dog. Get over to that platform over there! Mint jumps off the platform and scampers to the one on the bottom left. Running away from the horde of bizarre bunnies.

Control room:
BLOB won't show aggression to its teammates as long as it finds them useful. A half-elf scientist states. "Like I said prior it makes sure that others fight its battles for it. I take it due to the weakness of the the base creature itself. That or it finds them interesting, BLOB gets bored easy and does continues what it likes. I am guessing by previous observation it finds Svitz's habits of wanting to eat the rabbits as something fun. So it encourages that behaviour. Maybe BLOB will eventually even encourage Toxicroak's berserk behaviour unless it too is caught in the cross fire. Time will tell...

"I know! Raise platform. Jam bunnies underneath. It stay open?"

"Worth a try at least." Svitz says with a shrug

Control Room:

"The frostursa were designed to be a warrior class Race" The Dwarf explains, "So violence is typically their first choice for problem solving. It should be a controlled violence, however, and not the berserk fury the Toxicroak has displayed."

When the far southwestern platform is raised, all platforms and lines beyond that of Mints begin to dim and dull somewhat. The green light on the east-door starts flickering between red and green. Another 3 bunnies are lifted up into the room. The collumn that Mint left slowly starts sinking again, taking the two bunnies that wer still in it back down below.

Lacuna are you still with us or on vacation at the moment? Your leave dog was still in combat with three bunnies.

So we still need 3 buttons pressed, any idea how we are going to do that? Dead bunnies didnt work, maybe we could go back and grab a pod or plant and put it on one? Just trying to drive the story forward a bit, we seem kinda stuck again :P

Toxicroak curls up into a ball on the raised pad and takes a nap. The kind of nap a cat takes where he keeps one eye open and knows exactly where everyone is at every moment.

Blob of aberrant goo

Sorry having internet issues here, will be back on the 30th. What's happened to Lacuna then? I haven't seen him/her post in a while.

The pedestal near Lacuna hits floor level, trapping and crushing the head of the bunnies that was still sitting next to it and looking down into the pit. The platform didnt seem to slow much as it cunched the spine and skull of the little critter. Then it goes dull grey again, turning the light on the door back to a constant red status.

The leave dog rips another bunny apart. The remaining two bunnies scatter. One of them steps onto a circle that immediately begins to raise, revealing another three new bunnies and glows up a dull green. The bunnies in the far corners, from beneath Toxicroak and Mint begin to roam about, swiftly followed by those near the owl.

Getting up from his nap, Toxicroak attempts to gain the aid of Svits to help him grab one of the pods and lug it back into the current room.

"Grab pod. Put on button. Come Svits."

He then scuttles off to the first room (double move action), avoiding the bunnies when he can.

Taking a small liberty

Toxicroak ambles off over to the first chamber to take a look at the pods to see what can be done about them.
perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13

The pods seem to grow straight from the ground on a sturdy woody stalk. Nothing a good axe wouldn't be able to handle, but you would have one hell of a time trying to chew your way through.

Svitz follows toxicroak back into the room with the pods.

"The smaller ones might be easier to remove so maybe we should try those first."

Svitz says as he grabs one of the smaller pods and tries to simply rip it out first.

strength check: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24

Blob of aberrant goo

BLOB is slowly getting annoyed at this pointless charade. He wants to see if he can just draw away the rabbits to make these lines work.

BLOB spends his time summoning some monsters to grab the bunnies and move them away.

So spend an action summoning, I believe the monsters start moving next round.

Also honestly isn't most of this; move platform up, get bunnies away or kill them, light goes on? Then follow track to a door light. Are we going to need to spell out every action to do that? I mean we basically had that on the far east except I think there were still bunnies there .. or something? I'm getting confused as you said it should light up but when Mint jumped off it isn't lit up. There is some red sun there that I don't understand either.

REd sun: blood splatter as a bunny got trapped beneath a lowering sockle.
Reason why I want you guys to spell it all out: if you do it right door opens. You guys so far are not doing it right, which I was trying to hint at with the lines getting only dimly lit as soon as you started branching the power line. Also, you noticed when you connected ONE line to the door, that light turned green, but the door remained shut. That, and the bunnies are slowly starting to flood the room as more are being released with every column you raise. But I hate eating up players while they are offline and Lacuna is the only one within the bunnies reach because the rest stays on top of the columns. So there you have it. I spilled the walk-through.

You manage to pull the pod loose, but when you drag it on top of a circle, something odd happens. For a moment the circle flares up and begins to lift, but halfway it comes to a grinding hold. The light dies out and the circle lowers back into the floor. If you move it to another circle, the circle doesn't respond at all unless you step on the circle as well.

"Yeah, ehm about that." the owl speaks behind you "These divining circles aren't like ordinary buttons. They don't register weight, but lifeforms."

Blob of aberrant goo

I figured you needed two for the right side door, what with two lights next to the door as opposed to one for each of top and bottom. Part of the reason I went to the bottom with Mint and I to start the next chain off to get that door open. Anyway..

BLOB ends up summoning a lantern archon that flies above the room. It flies way above the bunnies and begins to shoot them to bits. BLOB waits for the lantern archon to eradicate the battlefield. Possibly summoning another one if he feels it is taking too long. BLOB casts guidance every few seconds to increase the chance of the archon speeding up his killing. When the ground is clear it will hop onto the next platform in the chain be it on the way to the upper sensor or lower one to the door on the right and repeat. Mint will aid him by continuing the chain.

The lantern archon(s) will continue to clear the ground of bunnies each time the platforms go up.

BLOB bobs his head up and down watching the bunnies get disintegrated by light beams saying. "Is this really meant to prove anything I wonder?" He mimics a yawn, after all BLOB doesn't have lungs. "A room full of dead bunnies, I guess we are just the lab's new painters."

I can summon each archon for 50 rounds. Each getting a potential of two hits on every turn. I really don't want to roll every attack while I do this as neither my summon, Mint nor I can get hit in this process. So can we just say the rabbits die?

summon: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

When all the bunnies are dead underneath the route BLOB wants he summons a total of 5 Eagles, combined with 1 lantern archon, BLOB and Mint that take the total to 8. Since he needs 9 people to complete the chain he asks. Oy, you two!" He gestures at Toxicroak and Svitz. "One of you get on the remaining platforms so we can get out of here. I'm bored of looking at the walls in this room."

9 is the minimum number of platforms to get the right door open, if what I understand is the right why to do this. I count as 8 life forms currently so if either Svitz or Toxicroak helps we can get the door open. That enough to get us out of here?

Svitz tosses the useless pod to the side and moves onto the platform.
