Since its attack failed last round, I believe Rommin is free of grapple and able to step back, say to K22, and swing on the vermin again.

To hit 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
Damage 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (3, 3) + 3 = 9

Rommin is free. He backs up a step and takes a swing, but the blade comes up just short of the creature.
