Chantif crawls another 20 feet towards the source of the flames, still carrying Drexel.

Det doesn't receive a response. As Chantif creeps forward, he manages to crane his neck towards the source of the flames just enough in order to make out what appears to be the world's ugliest poodle standing on its hind legs; he recognizes this as a pugwampi gremlin--one whose woody-looking skin makes him even more hideous than most of his kind (if that were possible). His right paw is outsretched to the south, in Det's direction. His left hand contains a quarterstaff that seems to pulse eerily, and he is wearing leather armor.

Chantif, you beat the DC by 6, so you're entitled to one piece of information about pugwampi gremlins. What do you want to know?

Oh good a Pugwampi spellcaster, just in case there was any doubt as to how seriously we are screwed.

Drawing a flask from her bandolier Umash walks around the corner of the wall.

"I said GET over here!", with that she hurls the bomb at the closer gnoll.

Ranged touch: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (10) - 2 = 8

Umash's bomb misses the gnoll, landing just behind him and to his right, but the explosion still sends him tumbling to the ground. The other gnoll drops his bow and readies his shield and battleaxe as he walks towards Umash.

Gnoll 1 is down. Party up. I'll go ahead and move Rhona.

I imagine I've seen the fireballs by now, right? Just wanted to make sure Rhona should be aware of the spellcaster's presence, if not actual location. In any case, keep me movin'. Maybe that sucker will toss one my way instead, being that Rhona's not exactly trying to be subtle.

Why do I suddenly feel like Lancelot?

You've seen them, but they seem to have stopped--at least temporarily.

I'm going to go ahead and move things along.

Chantif drops Drexel and charges the small, dog-like creature. As he closes with the creature, he feels a wave of malaise pass over him, but his longspear still connects with the creature. The creature yells in pain, steps back and starts yelling in a lilting language. The cold iron point on Chantif's longspear cracks down the middle.
The single remaining gnoll closes with Umash. He swings his battleaxe mightily, but it clatters off Umash's chain without harming her.

Chantif, your longspear is now broken [-2 to attack and damage, only x2 on a crit]. Party up. Rhona, is your computer fixed? I don't mind moving you on the map, but you're close enough to the battle now that the path you take matters, so I want to give you the chance to decide that.

Rolls:

- INACTIVE (GM abandoned game) -

Is the Pugwampi armed? I'll go ahead and ask if the Pugwampi has any Resistances/Strengths and/or Weaknesses. Sorry, I forgot you were waiting on me there. I'll go ahead and post an action, although if Chantif realizes the Pugwampi has some sort of Bludgeoning or Trip resistance, his action will be different.

Chantif drops the broken spear and advances on the ugly little thing while pulling out his flail. Then he swings wildly at it. Det! Get over here, Det!

Crunch:
If the Pugwampi is unarmed, Chantif will assume it can't AoO so he'll go for a Trip. Otherwise, he will go for an attack with the Flail. I think his CMB and Attack Bonus with the Flail are both the same.

Trip/Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Ah well. Moot point.

Yep, he's got a pulsing quarterstaff, but you wouldn't have to worry about AoOs anyway because he's Tiny. He has DR 2/cold iron and SR 7. He also has an aura of unluck out to 20 ft. Anytime somebody would have to roll a d20, they roll twice and take the worse.

- INACTIVE (GM abandoned game) -

Interesting. So damage-wise, my Flail and Longspear are effectively BOTH at -2 damage, since the Longspear is Cold Iron but broken, and the flail can't bypass his resistance. The Flail is still better for me because it is a higher die and doesn't have an attack penalty. The unluck aura sucks though.

As he recovers from his swing, Chantif shouts, This spellcaster here is a little pugwampi! He's weak to Cold Iron. The little bugger can resist magic, too.

Did you account for my second bomb?

Umash draws her falchion and retaliates in kind.

Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
Damage: 2d4 + 3 ⇒ (3, 2) + 3 = 8

By the way i recently noticed that power attack has a +1 BAB requirement, so i cannot actually have it yet, should i replace it, or just keep it until level 3 where i take something that i qualify for at level 1?

Confirm: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Crit Damage: 2d4 + 3 ⇒ (2, 1) + 3 = 6

I keep rolling 19s and 20s to attack recently, a magus i play in another PBP recently threatened 3 crits with her katana in a row, although only confirmed one... with a natural 20.

No I hadn't, Umash, but I will now.

The remaining gnoll, whom the previous bomb singed badly, is unable to interpose his shield in time to avoid a decapitating blow from Umash's falchion.

Replace it.

-INACTIVE-

Computer isn't fixed, but doesn't seem to be crashing quite as badly. I can get on Roll20, but it lags really badly. I think I'll be okay though. I can navigate decently enough right now.

"The hell's a 'pugwampi?!'" Rhona shouts as she nears the melee. "But if it's cold iron we need, I got it!"

With this in mind, and seeing Umash take the head off one of the gnolls, Rhona realizes her best course of action might to be to make for the spellcaster- once she spots it.

Perception (if needed): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20

Assuming that's enough to spot the Pugwampi, Rhona's going to run straight for it. If I can't Run toward it due to difficult terrain or whatever, I'll just double move as close as I can.

EDIT: I'll move my pawn on Roll20 once I know whether or not crossing the road will let me run or not.

Rhona, the smoke is from the fireballs that missed. The pugwampi is the creature next to Chantif. Det, with that roll you don't know anything about them.

-INACTIVE-

Ah. Sorry, I thought that was one of us. Fixing it so that I ran in the correct direction (toward Chantif and the Pugwampi)! That should put me in range so that I can actually do something once my next turn comes around, plus I should be flanking with Chantif.

No problem.

The pugwampi deftly tumbles away from Rhona and Chantif, allowing them no window to take advantage of his movement. Fire jumps from his hands, and the flames splash across both of them.
Rhona takes 6 damage and Chantif takes 3 damage. Party up.

Chantif staggers and coughs as the smoke clears. He feels unsteady on his feet but remains standing. With a glare that turns his eyes to slits, he eyes the Pugwampi. Just before he makes a run at it, he remembers Rhona and Det and instead angles to flank.

ooc:
That puts Chantif at 0. Only one action per round. A Standard Action will put him under. By himself he'd charge, "one last time" but he'll do more good aiding and flanking.

I can move myself tomorrow if my description is too vague

Just as she arrives- finally- at the fray, Rhona is washed with fire and cries out in pain and surprise. "Oy! I need those eyebrows!" She swats angrily at the flames, and as soon as her vision is clear, takes a swing at the creepy little gremlin.

I'll five-foot step to get into flanking range if need be.

Det manages to crack the gremlin over the head, raising an odd-shaped welt on what was already a misshapen head. Rhona's longsword whooshes over the gremlin's head. The gremlin tries to tumble away, but he isn't quite agile enough, allowing Det to find an opening. The longhammer slams into the ground, missing the gremlin. A look of pure fury crosses its face as it raises its left paw and a bolt of flame leaps from it. The flame strikes Det squarely in the chest, momentarily superheating his armor enough to blister his skin. Rhona sees an opportunity as the creature is aiming at Det, but she is unable to take advantage of it.

Det takes 5 damage. Chantif, you're entitled to an AoO, if you want it, but taking it will render you unconscious. Party up.

Chantif is still flanking the Gremlin for Rhona, so I think he'll stay put for the moment. Once Umash catches up to handle flanking, Chantif might go for a one-time blow then.

Y'all are going quiet on me! The actions Rhona and Det are going to take are fairly obvious, so I'll go ahead and post for them. I'm not sure what Umash wants to do, so I'll leave it up to her. Please give me some feedback in the discussion thread about how things are going.

Rhona misses high again, but Det's longhammer cracks into the little creature again--this time in the shoulder.

Umash is up.

Chantif:
While I was checking on something else, I noticed that you have a rank in Spellcraft (I think the modifier should be +5, though, since it's a class skill). I said at the beginning of the campaign I'd give y'all automatic Spellcraft checks to ID spells, so here they are: Spellcraft 1: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6 Spellcraft 2: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 Spellcraft 3: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23 Coupled with your earlier roll to ID the pugwampi, you reember that pugwampis have the ability to brea metal objects once per day; that must be what happened to your longspear. You also recognize the spell that disabled you as burning hands.

- INACTIVE (GM abandoned game) -

Chantif will continue to remain in flanking position.

DM:
Thanks. The +2 was just a bug in the Myth-Weavers sheet. Sometimes it doesn't include the Class bonus and you have to set the skill rank to 0 and back again to make it show up.

Growling, Rhona cries back: "Sh-shut up! This is harder than it looks!" The pugwampi punctuates this moment with his fireball, which only narrowly misses blasting Rhona's face off.

Rhona, seeing Chantif keeping the Pugwampi as distracted as he can, hears Umash's warning and is about to fall back when she sees that Chantif is still trying to help her outflank the gremlin. Hopefully, she can finish the thing off before Umash chucks a bomb at it...
