Lets start off by reviewing each others back stories.
My kid believes in Lady Luck. He had a lucky coin in the real world and its morphed into a Shelyn symbol.
As a cleric Mithrellas uses a glaive making him frontline support but not a frontline fighter. He has a plus eleven to diplomacy making an ideal face man for the team. He's obviously the team healer as well.
GM Tribute |
Once again, the idea is high school kids with rough backgrounds corresponding the character. High school jock=fighters, nerd=wizards or the opposite can be tried for karmic reasons or the effect of making a conscious effort to break a pattern -- abused child has a desire to be powerful, loner has desire to be charismatic leader. The idea is you can roleplay the high schooler in italics with thoughts.

Steve/Strang is defintely the "conscious effort to break a pattern":
Durahl of Highhaven |
GM Tribute--Do you want us to create our teenager persona or did you plan on assigning those? I thought one of your posts in the recruitment thread indicated that you would be assigning the alternate persona (read: the teenager or "real" background of our PC) for our characters.
If it is up to us, I will have to go with the "nerd" who wants to be powerful concept (I'm playing the Fighter) as I can't recall a single "cool" kid or "jock" who played D&D when I was a teenager.

@Strang: Did you realize that GM Tribute changed the character builds to 20 points from the 15 points initially indicated? It looks like your character is built just using 15 points.
Yeah, just forgot to update since I've been super busy the last two weeks. It's fixed now. :)
Durahl of Highhaven |
Durahl's "real-life" alter ego is Daniel Winslow, a brainy upper-middle class kid. 14 years old but already a Junior in high school due to skipping two grades in elementary school. Late bloomer who is only just now starting puberty. Daniel's parents are hard-driving overachievers who push their only son as hard as they push themselves.
Elgoron |
Elgoron's "player" is Louis Redford, a shy guy who's just never really fit into the crowds at school. His folks are well off enough that he doesn't have to scrounge for money or anything, and maybe doesn't quite get how money should work with people. But he's had plenty of time to read and loves his arts and crafts.
Me'mori |
Ama's player is Xavier Alexander, a fairly average guy, save that he is one of those that knows almost everyone, or they know him. He's realized that talking to people is just talking, and he is not afraid to be a goof when it suits him. Currently coasting through school, he's one of those happy-go-lucky, carefree types.

@Mitrellas: I hope my in-character comment about your flowery speech didn't offend you or contribute to your quitting. That was entirely in-character and not meant as a jab at your playing style. It just seemed like the kind of thing Daniel would feel/say in response to your speech.
