So just want another update from everyone as to what they what their characters to become in the future. I remember Lina said she wanted to be the ultimate champion for her god eventually, hence the sword that is going to level as she does, sort of. What does everyone else want? I know Edan wants to become a competent magic user and what not, but is there any cool magic items you all have in mind or anything that you want thrown into the missions?

Hmmm...not sure of any cool magic items that would be out there 'Shari would like, but I was toying with the idea of taking a sorcerer level. Not sure what bloodline to use for her. If you think of a good one, let me know, he he.
The only one that I can peg so far (unless she gets affected by a curse, or spell, "awakening" her powers) is Maestro, since it has been said that the tavern enjoys her singing.
Hmmm...I like that a lot Me'mori. I think it would be a good bloodline to take. Narrator, is there a way we can work this into 'Shari's background?
Sorcerer is easy to work in, any sort of forgotten or buried bloodline from your families past can be made up to add to a background, or it could be you just manifested it because, sorcerers are nifty like that.

I have been giving that some thought. One possibility which I like is her father (who is a sailor) may have been captured by one or more sirens. During the time he was held captive, he may have picked up a gift from them, a gift of song, from the many dalliances with them which then he transferred to 'Shari's mother. It then manifests as her sorcerous bloodline. What do you think?

Sorry I haven't answered this question sooner. While I always welcome any neat magic items, anything related to swords or stronger armor that helps his dex is never a bad thing - I hope. ;-)

On the one hand, since I have come in late to the group, I feel like Lanten can be the support guy - Sancho Panza to the team's Don Quixote as it were. I'll follow the cause where it takes us, for the most part.
Besides the search for his family, I can easily see Lanten being a champion/rebel against evil forces like those in Cheliax. More like a people's hero than a goodly champion like 'Lina I suspect - less ideal goodness and more akin to practical good.

No worries on my part. I had thought I had missed something. It was a good piece, but it got Lanten's sense of curiosity up.
I am trying to make him be a "street" person - he's more in tune with daily matters than philosophy, so that blurb piqued his interest. I think it makes a nice contrast with Edan's more enlightened thinking. Part of me trying to establish a distinct relatonship with 'Shari, 'Lina, and Edan each.
GM, I was also working under the assumption that in a town that small, an Aasimar would be noted as something that made the rumor mill, and a tailor might be one place that paid some attention to the gossip going around. Not that he would be a font of particularly useful information, but incidentals, at least.
I would like to add my appreciation to 'Shari and 'Lina for bearing with us as we do this information gathering. I know its a lot of rummaging around and there hasn't been a chance to reunite with all these posts.

It's been fun with all the romance stuff, but I hope it hasn't nauseated everyone. I'll admit the "fish out of water" side for Edan and 'Lina been kind of fun to watch - see where it leads.
Starting to think all our hunting is leading to dead ends. Maybe Ramar can pick up something we've overlooked. Otherwise, I'm afraid the breaking and entering/looking for trouble style of investigating may need to take a more prominent role. ;-)

Heh...I am enjoying the romantic angle, it adds depth to the characters. However, I think this Dryad trip has proven to be a dead end. Still, 'Lina might have a lead she can pursue here, he he.

Though this does beg the question...what are the boys going to do when they find they're both after the same girl? Or will this end up being a Polygamous relationship? We'll have to see who woos who, though my money is on Lanten as they seem to share conversations better and, Ramar is often more focused on other things, then again I could be wrong, just been so long to see a post from Ramar.

Certainly not gonna argue with them. Besides, Godelina has no drive to get in their way if stuff does happen, unless it comes to blows or gets in the way of the mission.
Would like to see if Edan is gonna push Godelina to admitting suspected feelings or not.

My apologies for being absent and missing on the fun. It's been a very busy 10 days for me.
Basically - I lost my job (no fault of mine)day after Christmas; got offered a new job; and have spent all my time since then moving and learning my new job. Sleep and eating (maybe) have been about all else I have had time for.
Things have settled down a little more now, so hopefully I can get back into the swing of things. Fingers crossed.
