Got everything except a feat and appearance and equipment, should have that all done in a bit.
I'm ready to go crunch wise. I just need to whip up a background. It's not going to be complex. Bruno is a simple character as far as motivations go.

Cool, planning that whatever the ritual was fully unlocked the rage that was already there, and is the reason she worships Ragathiel.
It made us both angry and vengeful. I just happen to not be the religious type. My faith is equally shared between Ragathiel and Gorum.
Whatever this ritual was, we needed each other to survive. We may be the only two of the party who know each other.

Yeah sounds likely. I had rage issues to begin with which made me feel like a failure to Sarenrae. In taking a leave to deal with that is where I got caught up with whatever cultists tried to use us for their own goals. They obviously bit off more than they could chew and things didn't end well....for them.
That's when I found the calling to Ragathiel and became the rage paladin.lol

Changing subjects, linking back stories with Nazz, would she be able to recognize you outright, shackled there in the town square, or would you eventually recognize each other as we journey? I assume it would depend on how much your physical appearance had changed.

Well since I'd be going from a pretty aasimar dude to a scruffy feline-ish tiefling, she probably wouldn't recognize him. The recognizing would have to come from his voice or something subtle like that. Maybe a unique piece of jewelry or something. Or she could have been present when he was transformed and ran away.

If I may suggest, He was the rear guard. He got the worst of the curse energies as the ritual destabilized, resulting in his transformation.
