Seka's find's a new path making heading back to Greywater a slightly long however much safer and more comfortable trek. You leave the ruined castle behind, dead bodies littered along the outside. You can tell they were Zombies, but now are dead again.

You find yourselves walking along the shoreline for the better part of the trip. The day is bright and warm, everything seems at peace and normal. You see in the distance floating over the ocean ships. Basically it's just a beautiful day now.

Night comes quickly, Do you stop to camp? or Keep traveling?

"I concur. Let us press on." Seka did not mind walking and was quite used to it. They would be tired by the time they reached Thornkeep, but it would worth it to make their report as swiftly as possible, learn more information and then organise a wagon and tools before resting in their own beds.

You press on down the shoreline, eventually Greywater Hollow comes into view. Piles of undead bodies burn in giant burning pyres along the shore.

Your tired though you finally arrive at the town, The captain Gnashbone stands near the entrance directing various soldiers. He looks over briefly, AH, There you are i was beginning to fear bad happened. So what happened?

The city seems to have taken only minimal damage, some building seem a bit wrecked but otherwise everything seems together.

Zheng shuffles awkwardly to halt behind the others, electing to let someone more eloquent than him do the talking.

Don't get me wrong you did good, but i don't decide what the townsfolk do. Most were focused on the undead that invaded, if it helps in my mind you've earned the title. Anyway i have a report to write, What was the official cause of this threat? Also you should go see the mayor, she wants to see to your reward and what not.

If no one else is talking Targan gives the captain the details of our expedition. Travelling through the swamp, finding the undead by the ruin. Investigating the ruin and smashing the orb, which seemed to finish all the undead.

Targan doesn't mention the mithril. :)

Walking through the port city, you notice as you walk various people making repairs on the dock, some moving bodies to the shore, all manner of thing's.

making your way through the port, past the markets and homes. you come to the mayor's house. A large ship build into the dock converted into a home. A small sigh nailed to the side, reading : Come in

You head up the ramp leading to the ships deck, you stand at the door to the Mayor's office.

perception dc 20:

You notice oddly enough no sign that undead were up here. the deck is quite clean though you spot small amount's of rocks and rubble in odd shapes

And still can't find his ass with both hands and a map.

I'll be nice Targan, Seka pointed out the rubble and such to you and the group you can check it out if you want. I mean unless that was what your check was for. So besides that there's a door, there's weird rocks, what do we do? if you knock who does it, ect.

Yeah, Targan was trying to use his Dwarfish ability to recognize weird stone, so he could maybe guess why it was weird. As usual the RNG rolled over and farted while ignoring my hopes.

Shrugging and pretending he hadn't been squinting suspiciously at a pile of rocks Targan knocks politely on the door. Hoping someone with social skills will do the talking, but expecting it will be him again.

Seka has no diplomacy (at this stage/level) and thus why I don't have her speak on behalf of the group. Actually none of us have.

Targan is turning out to be more sociable than I thought, when we do get a level I will put a point into diplomacy. If he does achieve his dream of running a shop being able to talk to people will help.

Least the Dwarf Rogue is friendly enough. ;) Seka will also put a point into diplomacy next level and can help out/aid Targan a little, although diplomacy isn't a class skill for a druid.

I'm sure the captain told you of our current available property unless you'd rather have money, i think 1000 gold pieces will be sufficient. The young woman let's you all in offering a seat at a small round table.

Having listened and weighed up the options, Seka nodded toward Targan and replied in lowered voice, "Aye, the property seems sensible"

Looking back to the Mayor(?), Seka asked, "The property was mentioned but not in detail. Can you tell us in what condition the property is in?" She gave the young woman an encouraging smile, hoping the house was liveable and didn't require too much work.

Alrighty then

What's to tell? it was a storage warehouse belonging to a merchant who used to live in Greywater. He left so now it's just taking up space. It sit's at the edge of town near the town market. The quarters will be brought up to basic living conditions assuming you accept it as payment of course, I have a team on standby . Otherwise if you do not, it will be knocked down. The young woman comment's, not sitting down immediately but rather turning around and fidgeting with a drawer. she pulls something out of it, putting it over her eye's like a blind before sitting down to continue the discussion.

"Sounds good." Targan nods agreeably. "Plenty of room for each of us to set up our workshops and whatnot."
