Ikkit and Targan, however Ikkit's blow simply squishes into the Zombie doing little, whereas Targan's Axe slices through the Zombie.

Ikkit stops for a second and catches his breath. "Nice blow," he compliments Targen.

Still panting slightly he moves and begins to rifle through the undead's possessions, "Lets search the bodies of these abominations and then take a look at the bridge they were guarding."

Seka examines any wounds suffered by her companion/s during the fight with the zombies and tries to steam any blood flow etc so they may continue on hale.

First she casts Guidance on herself, calling upon Gozreh's favour.

Heal Check with Guidance: 1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 8 + 1 = 22

I realise that's two standard actions. If there isn't time for that, then she'll just do the heal check without Guidance.

Seka will only be making heal checks to close wounds at this time. She'll leave the searching of the bodies to the others.

Seka made heal checks on the injured via my post after combat ended (I did ask for those who were injured to come forward and say so) and the above was the GM's response to the heal check. Being a Druid, she has limited spells at her current level. She only has 2 CLW prepared for the day. I'm being mindful in how she uses them. Perhaps the group needs to invest in some potions or a wand of healing at this level.

Heal checks don't actually heal hit points until you get 8 hours of rest, I was asking for checks for more devious reasons.... the Perception below denotes what you find while searching around the castle

While searching along the castle walls under a bit of rubble you find a wooden doors, opening them you find stone hewn stairs leading downward. you can only assume that it is an outside entrance to part of the castle cellar.

I'm good with resting before we go into the castle ruin.

Seka quietly points out the stone-hewn stairs leading down to the castle cellar to her companions. "A possible way inside."

Being that Jokulmorder is the most wounded and our frontline fighter, Seka would be willing to heal one person at this time (him) and then thinks the wounded (he and Targan) should rest and recuperate. Zheng, do you want healing at this time? If we don't encounter something this night at the castle ruin, Seka will then heal Targan. I'd like to know the time in game, too. The GM did say it was growing dark when we first saw the zombies by the bridge.

"Hiding is always a good idea." Zheng mumbles and begins to stumble in the general direction pointed out by Seka
If you don't mind burning one charge of CLW on Zheng we can probably press on. Saving the other one for an emergency.

Watching, and listening to, the still-wheezing fighter, Seka moved back and laid her hand on his shoulder, casting her healing spell in quiet Celestial.

Zheng you get back 7 hp and are now only down 1.

"There is no harm in finding a secure place to rest and spend the night," the druidess replied quietly.

Zheng's breathing grows more rapid and steady and the wounds begin to close. He looks over to Targan and his wounds.
" Setting up camp would be a good idea. "

Once her healing spell was complete and the fighter was almost completely hale, she watched him for a moment and when no gratitude was levied her way for her service, she simply moved back to the discovered cellar.

With the cellar doors open, Seka stood at the top of the stone hewn stairs and peered down into the darkness, using her darkvision to determine if it was safe enough to move the party inside.

Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27

She quietly called over to Targan, "Are you able to see any traps?"

you peer down a long dark corridor, and odd tingling feeling emanates out as soon as you open the doors, a cold chill ebbs down your spine. you see no traps only a long empty staircase downward. The walls though old are still in tact, old unlit torches line the walls. the stairs themselves have shatter glass and wine bottles over them

Do we set up camp or venture downward?

In lowered voice, Seka pronounced, "I felt an odd sensation; a cold chill down my spine when I peered into its dark corridor. Let us enter and inspect the cellar on the morrow unless we enter through the front door. Be mindful as there is shattered glass and wine bottles littered on the cellar stairs."

Set up camp.

Seka closed the wooden doors of the cellar for now, placed a sturdy branch (or whatever she can find close by) across the boards to secure it shut and then moved back, looking for a good and protected place to set up camp for the night.

Survival to set up camp and make a safe perimeter: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 26

To the group, she simply and quietly announced, "I will take the watch after Ikkit to give Jokulmorder and Targan a chance to rest now."

She cast her eyes about the area just to be sure there was no threat lurking nearby.

If the camp site appeared safe from threat, Seka would approach Targan.

"Allow me to give you some healing for those wounds before you sleep." She lay her hand upon his arm and began to speak soft Celestial words.

CLW on Targan: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5 (Restoring 5 hp. He's at full HP now.)

All the Dwarf's gaping wounds healed whole and clean.

"There, you should feel better now."

Before lying dying down to sleep, Seka sat down on the grass near to the others and began to meditate, preparing her spells for the day ahead. When she was done, she found a place on the ground and covered herself with her blanket; leaving her leather armour on and her weapons within reach.

He gives his armor and weapons a check and clean before having his rest.

the terrible night passes with creepy silence, as it get's darker a purple light shines from behind the door fading as the nights passes. The sun comes up eventually ,the area silent still. no birds chirping nor animals making noise.

Ikkit spends most of his watch in silence, contemplating the creepy purple light, and concludes, Whatever it is it can't be good.

He awakens the next dawn ready to go hoping he lives to see another sunrise. Hefting his light mace he looks to the others, "Let's get on with it then.

Seka woke, stood and stretched. Making some quick ablutions, she folded her blanket and placed it inside her pack and then looked to the other companions, those already awake and those waking and rising beside her. When she spoke, her words were low as to not be overheard if something indeed dwelt inside the cellar.

"The purple light coming from the cellar last night is troublesome. Will we try to enter through the cellar or move around the castle ruin and through the front entrance?"

Since her companions agreed on entering the cellar, Seka moved to stand beside Targan and looked over the secured cellar door; following Targan's lead and seeing if the door had any traps placed on it since the night before when they had opened the doors without issue.

Perception to aid Targan: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11 (+2 to Targan's check)
