for now just make sure all your stuff is set and together, i'll post an introduction scene and everything sometime tom...today i guess almost forgot it's midnight.
feel free to use this discussion to talk amongst each other, doesn't have to be about the game but there's no telling home long this game will be so strap in for a long ride.
If you guys have any questions specifically about Grey water Hollow ask away: whose the mayor, guard captain, local merchants, taverns, anything at all.
i run combat mapless (as i don't really have a reliable map system) so i'll get as descriptive as possible with how close enemies are, how far away they are, the terrain ,ect
Checking in, too. Thanks for selecting Seka to be in the game, GM.
Looking forward to playing alongside the others. :)
When you can, I'd be interested in getting the rundown of Greywater Hollow - main/notable NPCs, religions, trade/economy, guilds etc ... I'm all for description and narrative.
I'm in the southern hemisphere, GMT+10. This doesn't affect my posting rate, but it can influence the timing of my posts some days (those dreaded work/life BUSY days). If I'm unavailable to post for some reason, I will leave a note on discussion re my absence. :)
yea pacing everything out is the plan with everyone in a different timezone, luckily i'm up till all hours of the night anyway. if at any point anyone can't post just drop a small mentioning of it in hear and your covered, that's my only posting rule really.
Ask and thy shall receive, i'll be posting an intro in a bit
a few things of note about Greywater hollow
The city is almost entirely built over the water, on docks. many of the buildings are either small shacks or old ships.
it's a fairly newly established town not too far away from were Sandpoint was. the trade/ economy is rather slow.
the local market and artisans, smiths, ect live and set up shop on the eastern section of the city.
notable npc's:
The Mayor- A female human wizard named Aaliyah, she seems to be young. she's been the mayor since the Greywater was founded, nobody know's really where she came from but she seems to have everyone's best interests at heart.
Gilles- leader of the local thieves guild, he's a thief however more along the lines of the robin hood type. he also runs an orphanage in town.
Guard captain- a hardworking Gnoll paladin named Gnashbone. separated from his tribe, he holds an incredible loyalty to the mayor
local important places:
The Crimson Oar- the local Tavern run by an old Elven bard named Kryas Azrin, he always seeks to tell stories of the "old day's": the times before the world changed.
The Monastery of all- one of the first building built in Greywater, a place of peace and worship where all religions are respected. it takes up nearly the entire western half of the city as it also is a place where monks, paladins and those seeking enlightenment train.
thanks for checking , wasn't sure how to go about getting pictures for things and i think i may have finally solved it. i'll probably being adding mroe as time goes on
GM, that map works, except it is in 'view only' option at present. Not sure if you're going to give us access to edit the map so we can move our own tokens, round by round (I find that's easier in combat).
GM, during combat, do you want us to wait until you resolve a person's action before posting next in initiative order? And since Targan took action already, was that his formal turn in round 1 or do I need to wait for his action before posting Seka's? Thanks. :)
I am considering taking a level in cleric next level to help with the healing etc. It looks like we'll need a stronger healing presence/ability in the party.

I think you can keep progressing as a druid. At 2nd level I can take a discovery that will allow me to share my extracts with others and take some of the burden off you. But we should buy a wand of clw as early as possible.
I realise it is a castle ruin, but being we have no maps nor any detailed description of the surrounds, it helps to have more information as to how much of the castle is still standing so as to figure out the scope of the endeavour.
well to get a better image you guys are in the main building, it's roughly 2 to three large floors with many rooms though none of you really would know how big it is beyond that.
Though none of you would really there are multiple rooms or anything.
you can make a history check to see if you would know anything potentially about this castle,
Basically most of the castle is gone, with the exception of hte main building, which would contain the throne room, kitchen, dining room, bedrooms, other things i can't directly say.

It's supposedly a 2 day trek back to town, and exploring more would be a good idea, but zheng himself has reservations about exploring further given that he's already gotten himself two shiny shards of metal. If the party decides to press on, zheng will follow them.

I have done this, though not through a dangerous swamp. :)
Last book of Serpents Skull, giant doors made of Adamantine, a prison with hundreds of feet of mithril chain. The party (through Portable holes and other magic) made off with probably tons of the precious metal.
The DM "You're supposed to find and kill the evil mastermind! Not dismantle his lair."

I will be on the road Tuesday – Thursday please feel free to bot me as necessary. I do not foresee having any problems posting. However, tomorrow is going to be an 18 hour day and I might just hit the sack when I get to my hotel.
