Halloran will stand up and step outside, to look at the sky. Once he determines the rain is over, he'll tap the dottle out of his pipe and say to the others, There's still plenty of daylight, if we wanted to head out today we could. We'd probably have to camp out overnight, but I think we're close enough that we could make some progress.

Picking himself up out of his chair, Asok takes a sip from his flask before speaking. "Yes! Let's see what this land has in store for us!" He joins the others in getting his horse, Brand, saddled and ready.
As the others rush by him, Halloran will wryly say, I guess that means yes. to Silstaren. Then puts his pipe away and heads to the stables to saddle his horse as well.
I believe they're heading for the radish patch, where Halloran and Silstaren were attacked. At least that's where Halloran will direct them to go.
I'm going to proceed on the assumption that Elaine or someone else would have said there were no tracks to be found.
Well that's disheartening, still it doesn't have to be a total loss. Before you all arrived our old group met a hermit named Bokken, who lives near the trading post. He's a brewer of potions and he offered us a deal on any potion he could make, such as healing potions, if we brought him some fangberries from a thicket that's located in that direction.
At this point he will point roughly SW, As we haven't yet explored the land directly East of here, we can head out that way and follow the wood line down. We'll make better time and get to explore land we haven't covered yet, what do all of you think?

After even a short time in the saddle, Asok is still gratefull to be back on his feet. He joins Elaine in surveying the ground. "Is there anything special about this place?" he asks.
Sorry all for the lack of posting this past week. Work suddenly went crazy when one of the consultants on a project I was working on gave his two weeks notice last Friday, then decided he wasn't going to come in at all last week. Fortunately they pulled someone off another project to give me hand before the go live date on the 15th.
Buckwell stares intently into the fire he just created as the others settle in for the cold, wet morning. He snaps himself out of his reverie as the weather breaks and follows the others outside. He saddles Jynx, his pony, and rides out with the rest, keeping to the rear of the little column.
As they reach the radish patch Buckwell says "Looks like your little friends have gone. Any idea where their lair would be?"
Saddling back up he seems game to follow wherever the others decide to go "One direction is as good as any other"
"Hmmm," Silstaren intones while looking at the bones. "Nothing has tried to eat these. There's some nicks and chips here -- and here. It appears something slender and sharp passed between these ribs. Perhaps arrows?"
Asok pulls Brand up and eyes the ground carefully while trying to remember if he has heard about anything like this recently. "I don't like the looks of this." he mutters while stroking Brand's mane.
