Advanced Notice:
I'll be starting up another game after one finishes within a short while.
It'll be a gestalt game, with a slightly modified version of character randomisation that I used in my Broadened Horizons Games.
The game will be one of 4 modules I'm looking at running, and it'll continue to a second module that I've decided on.
Thanks for the invite, AZ. I'm trying to cut back my PbP activity to free up time IRL and let me concentrate more on the games I am in. Mostly cutting back means stopping applying to new games, and trying to finish off my Children of the Void campaign. Unfortunately applying to new games is kind of like crack for me and it's really hard to stop.
Silstaren is a pragmatic pantheist in a world of many gods, you need to respect or fear them all. He prefers good to neutral or bad.
Dieties -- Desna, if he must choose one. He is trying to see the world, wanderlust is one reason he left home. It's always handy to have luck on your side, and philosophically she's a good match.
Dieties of secondary importance to Silstaren are:
He also admires Cayden Cailean, for his free-spirited nature and opposition to oppression, not for Cayden's "booze is good" reputation.
Shelyn for her devotion to beauty and performance.
Erastil for his bowmanship and emphasis on family. Silstaren wished for many years that his parents would reunite.
Gozreh gets respect because Sil has spent many nights sheltering from the god's power.
Calistria, he dislikes because he blames her for his mother leaving.
Still pondering what to take for a 2nd level. Leaning toward another level of fighter, but also considering a Cavalier. Will update soon.
Edit: went with level 2 fighter. Gained a point in Survival to reflect the new woodland ways, Quick Draw as a bonus feat and the usual array of fightery goodness.
Lately this game seems to be drifting at a glacial pace, even by the standards of PbP. It's kind of getting me down, because this game was really good. Can we fire it back up a little?
