Out of all the things I thought I would be doing in this campaign, magical plastic surgery was not one of them. If we could perfect the process we'd make a fortune, Welcome to Oleg's Beverly Hills clinic!
Can I have Lina's stats please?
Not plastic surgery, it's closer to making steroids and pharmaceutical drugs.

This does seem to be the usual prime time for starting recruitment runs. I have no opposition to having more players involved. I feel weird though with havi my so many drop as I join you guys. Is this just random chance?
Halloran Westover |
This game has been limping on for years, as I've mentioned before we have a pretty high turnover rate where players are concerned. Azure is even replacing the original GM of this campaign, so no I would have to say this is not random chance.
If anything the fact that you have chosen to stick it out, sets you apart from the rest, if your lucky they'll let you know they can't play anymore, like Taldash. But most people just disappear without a word, like Alerienne. I'm not condemning them for it, just stating a fact.
If you want to do another recruitment drive Azure, I have no objections.
Dante Pholve |
Dante stands atop the broken tower, the setting sun backlighting him. The head of a dead pirate under one fur-lined leather boot, Dante sheaths his battleaxe and pulls out his heavy crossbow.
Wind whipping his long blond hair around, he takes no notice of it, taking sight of a lone pirate scurrying across the beach. Offering a prayer to Abadar, the bolt glows with a blue inner light, and finds it's mark in the back of the brigand.
"The Knights can keep their honor," his says, his voice like gravel pouring into a stream.
Smoothing down his handlebar mustache, Dante turns into the wind, his blue cloak flailing out behind him. "See me Abadar," he shouts into the wind. "I have slain all you've put before me. When will I get to exact my revenge!?"
Receiving no answer, Dante sets to work cleaning the blood from his hide armor. It is a joyless task that he performs exceptionally well. By the time darkness creeps over the waters of the cove, his armor is as clean as it was that morning.
Don't know if that helps.

And Example of a Physical Description (From one of my PCs):
You see an woman (of Ulfen blood) of about 6 foot 6, She has a muscular and curvy human build with comely features and pale skin.
Her face looks human with subtle elven beauty.
She has Sapphire blue eyes and lose Golden Hair that ends near her waist.
Ardainn Jadanas |
Ardainn would probably be a handsome elf if he would stop scowling so much. Unfortunately, since his new bride was taken by bandits in the very lands he's been sent to explore, his scowl has taken up permanent residence on his features. He is tall, lithe, and moves with the grace of a prowling cat, and his dark hair is worn in a warrior's braid that reaches to his waist. He wears simple, well-worn leathers and a long waterproof cloak.
Should he be seen without a shirt, there is a terrible scar under his left arm, where a bandit's axe very nearly finished him off, in the battle when Istiel was taken.
He's about 6'6"

Ardainn_Jadanas First pass
Dante_Pholve First pass
It's just a first pass, so I won't nitpick :)
Eärwen Elensar |
You see a elven woman of 5 foot 6, small and child like with pale skin and violet eyes. Her hair is light brown and waist length, often braided with flowers or leaves. Wearing light brown armor with green trim. And almost always wearing a wide brim hat to keep the sun out of her eyes

It looks like I took the Dual-Talanted alternate human background which does not show up on the character block I produced (Sorry I should have checked) that gives me +2 to two stats instead of the racial feat and skill points.
I only have 1 Feat , and that would make the stats 14*4 = 20 points.Ardainn Jadanas |
As long as we're nitpicking, Ardainn probably wouldn't wear combat boots. You could slap a cloak on him and make him look pissed, but beyond that, I think I like it.
Now I have to finish my equipment and update my profile.
Permission to dot gameplay thread?

Since I don't have much on Bridgette's appearance so I'm guessing along with Arianna's appearance.

I would just like to take this opportunity, to welcome all of our new players.
I hope you have fun and our with us for a long time. But if you take the time to read some of our previous posts, you'll see that a lot of players have come and gone in this campaign.
I understand the pressures of real life, and if your not having fun or are to busy to post on the game, feel free to drop out. The only thing I would ask, is that if you do decide to leave, please leave us a post letting Azure know that you're going. Makes thing easier for everyone.
Once again Welcome and without further ado, on with the game!
Halloran Westover |
My understanding is (and I admit it's been awhile) the characters are responding to notices from neighboring Rostland, to explore and map the Stolen Lands, an unclaimed section of the River Kingdoms.
Oleg's trading post, (where we are now) is the only known connection to civilization, and as such the party's starting point, as well as our current headquarters.
Does that answer your question?
Feel free to add anything you think I might have missed, Azure.
Bridgitte the Barmaid |
Hopefully not a stupid question...do we know why we're at this trading post? I went back through the recruitment, and some discussion, but can't find anything.
I believe we are just travelling past when a storm occures and we seek shelter

Thank you for producing the image. It looks good for Bridgette's normal appearance. In blood rage she grows a bit(but not as much as will later on) develops claws and takes on a more reddish tint to her skin.
