Upon waking I make my way straight towards the bath. I'll not interact with others until I am clean and have prepared myself for the day.

Making my way down from the baths, I take a seat near Deorin and Foux.

Nodding I say, "Morning ladies, I hope you both had a restful evening. "

"I'm hoping your feeling better today Deorin, you really took a beating yesterday."

"Mia, If I could get a bowl of oatmeal, an apple, and a glass of juice I would be most appreciative."

Mia:

Looking towards the Table with the wounded women and company "Greetings, my name is Urgthak, you look like you met the same goblins that bothered me on the way in. Those few wont be bothering anyone again. I am here seeking Adventure, you seem like you may need someone who can help keep Goblins and such off your backs." As he stands up, and flexes his muscles some, and bows towards their table.

Mia:
"Unfortunately he was killed in a raid two weeks ago."

Deorin looks up at the newcomer, and silently sizes him up.
At this point I would take all the help I can get. I am Deorin.

The majority of her attention devoted to her meal, Foux manages to catch fragments of the conversation. Taking only modest bites, she contributes with a hand covering her mouth.

I'm s.s.sure a q.q.quick survey of the p.premise would be quite worthwhile, besides it s.s.should be of relative ease w.w.with our new c.c.companion.

"The raids started about 1 year ago, after a wander came through town.
He was a member of the Church of Zarus, and was scouting the town to see if it was "pure of blood" and other reasons.
I only found out when I caught him doing his report in his private room here.
I over heard the plans and relayed them to everyone here.

The raids happen randomly, add in that Zarg hates all non-Orcs, but Zarus the most, added to our troubles, with his attacks.
But most of the raiders are small units, because this is not important spot to hold or take."

Given a few days to recover, I'm sure my companions would be willing to assist in finding the source of the problem and quieting it. Perhaps we can speak to the goblins and convince them to leave this town be, for the sake of their own health if not from the kindness of their hearts.

I say we find their camp, find their leader and kill him off, that will disperse these goblin jackals. I would be willing to undertake a surgical strike to discourage further attacks. I'll not participate in a wholesale slaughter though. Such would render us no better than the gobliins

"I don't know where they are holed up, but it could be the nearby ruins."

Now seemingly finished with whatever task she set out upon, Foux rejoins her companions.

Although subtle, those nearby can tell Foux is visibly irritated through a constant tapping of her fingers(now taking notches from the table), and perhaps the beginnings of a facial expression.

I'm r.r.rather c.c.curious as to what might lie in th.th.these ruins if nothing else; b.b.but I find goblins to be rather l.l.loathsome vermin and sh.sh.shan't c.c.complain should a f.f.few be removed from existence.

The ruins were my intended destination before the incident with the goblins. Perhaps we could investigate the area after convincing the goblins to forgo harassing this town.

"Our favorite merchant is arriving in about 10 minutes, and it looks like he has some friendly company with him, HAHA."

"He's one of a few merchants who come through here, and he generally has the best stuff and most reasonable deals."

"We should check out this merchant, and his friendly company. Maybe one of them can heal and would be willing to join us"

To the Merchant "Greetings, I hear you travel here often. Lets see what you got, I hear you deal in the good stuff. By the way, did you have any trouble with goblins on the way in? The have been harassing the town some recently."

FYI as my New Feat I took Power Attack. I would like to consider myself always Power attacking unless I state otherwise if that's OK. If not I will do otherwise

Speaking of feats, if nay want to look at team work feats next time they level let me know. It seems our discussion thread is still closed or I have put this there

Teamwork feats are fine,
but getting others to take one is their free-will.

I was just mentioning it now so in case there were ones that folks might be interested in so we could discuss...(fighters get feats every level so I don't have to be as choosy) If no one is interested then I'll just drop it :)

Everyone Leveled Up?

I've gone over my character sheet and updated everything, I only have to go over spell once more to make sure everything is in order

And up to date with the exception of one language from taking a point in linguistics, any advice would be appreciated. Also i am not particularly interested in teamwork feats.

You'll need to find a teacher for various languages
Languages (top is more common to find and use):
Elven,
Sylvan,
Dwarf,
Goblin,
Orc,
Draconic.
Celestial,
Abyssal,
Infernal
Etc.

Celestial, abyssal, infernal, AND Draconic are needed to read some of the old ruins.

Would like to go for Draconic first then.

Urgthak should be done.
