Nor-Ham is to the East of the Western mountains, and south of the Keel Mountains. This is the closest town to both mountain ranges and is the last town before entering the only paths through both mountain ranges for over a 200 kilometers.
You all have left a nearby town/village/hamlet due to a raid on it. You have made your way to Nor-Ham. Nor-Ham is surrounded by 10ft high fence and has 3 gates, one in the west, one in the south, and one on the eastern side. The Hamlet has a Bar and Inn (The Drunken Lass), a blacksmith, tanner, and the necessities. But inside you can see a small section of the town has been on fire and was burnt to the ground.
Forgive me if I sound a bit simple in asking, if all of the events in the RP tavern carry over? I'm just a tad confused right now, and if I'm understanding correctly the events are as follows; The town in witch the frozen ass is located was raided and we (being Artanthos, Deorin, and myself along with a few NPC's) come upon Nor-Ham and are deciding where we are headed upon arrival?
And the NPC's are reset? as in both groups could have the same NPC's?
The Drunken Lass has a front porch and porch roof 5 feet out and as wide as the building, one set of double doors on it's southern side. In the northern wall has a stage 4 ft up, 10 out and 15ft wide, the north eastern corner has a washroom, the eastern side has a fire place the bar is on the western wall between. The stairs going to the upper level is in the north western corner.
A 6 foot 1 well muscled man with blonde hair and blue eyes tends to the bar.
A beautiful voluptuous barmaid of 5 foot 6 with blonde hair and blue eyes.
The barmaid is wearing a brown mid Calf length skirt, a white short sleeved shirt and a brown bodice that assists with her figure. And a kerchief on her head.
Richard:
in a polite voice and tone
"One room for the beautiful lady ok, will that be the common room or a private room? For the meal what will you have? Right now we have stew and a meal of meat and potatoes."
From a distance, Foux catches a glimpse of smoke, seeming remnant from some previous inferno.
Fantastic, as if the f.f.frozen w.w.waste wasn't enough...
Setting down in hopes to catch her breath, Foux attempts to distract her mind from the melancholy of an even longer road...
I.f.fff Nor-Ham is no longer, I f.f.fear I shall collapse from exhaustion...
Steeling herself for what may lie ahead, she sets out once again on foot. With a breath of relief, the palisades slowly peak out from the frostbitten landscape. With renewed vigor she now makes her way towards the burned section of town stopping to find any nearby that can answer her query.
Ahh, I was aware of this, I still thought nor-ham was an arctic climate, forgive me if not, and I only made the perception check IN town to find a nearby townsmen, I'm sorry If I made that unclear.
crap happens, and mistakes are made, nor-ham is on the warmer side of the Keel mountains. And you can hear a blacksmith hammering, and some chatting in the Drunken Lass
After finishing my bath, I head back downstairs and, taking a seat where I can see the entire dining room, with my back to the wall, I order place my order.
"Waitress, I would have a bowl of stew, some bread, and a pot of tea."
Mia:
she walks to the table,
"Bread n stew and a pot of tea coming your way."
she walks into the kitchen.
A few moments pass and she comes out of the kitchen with your meal and tea.
"is there anything more?"
When you reach the blacksmith, you notice the building is a bit taller.
You see a musclular 6 foot 2 blonde haired, blue eyed human man, working the forge.
in a polite voice and tone
"One room for the beautiful lady ok, will that be the common room or a private room? For the meal what will you have? Right now we have stew and a meal of meat and potatoes."
After sipping a rather small portion of her wine, she slowly begins to twirl the glass. Without making eye contact, her gaze still primarily focused on her beverage, she answers rather bluntly.
w.w.well it looks as t.t.though we share the same goal. I suggest we g.g.gather our strength and k.k.knowledge, and perhaps f.f.find a g.g.guide to aid us
I take a final sip of my tea, finishing the cup off.
I'll as the bartender if he know of any reliable guides.
I walk over to talk to Richard.
I've heard of the woes inflicted upon your town by the Church of Zarus. While my companions and I lack the martial ability to directly oppose the Church, we believe they are seeking something in the ruins nearby and would seek to thwart them indirectly by recovering what the church seeks before they can find it, and either destroy it or transport it someplace far from here.
I was wondering if you could recommend to us any reliable guides and / or stalwart individuals that could assist us.
Richard:
"This is a small hamlet, The Ricket family may help you get to the ruins, but that is it. They work very hard for a living hunting game, collecting things from the woods, and various other jobs they do."
First few (2-3) fights are for teamwork, among the players. Then NPCs open up.
A local woodsman would serve as an excellent guide, none would know the area better. I would be most appreciative if you could arrange an introduction.
I return to my seat at the table.
I believe we may have a few local guides willing to lead us to the ruins.
I raise my teacup in Mia's direction, "Waitress, I would have another cup of your excellent tea."
