Something we need to discuss OOC so you can divide it up IC is the loot.

we should each get 1 cure light wounds, 1 sun rod, and 1 haunt siphon,
But given that 2 of us don't use arrows (Me and Fleisher),
it'll be 1 cure light wounds, and 1 sun rod for each player.

Me and Fleisher will have 2 haunt siphons each, 1 scroll(Hide from Undead) each, and 1 potion of restoration each.

Since Fleisher took the brass spirit planchette,
I'll take the last 2 scrolls

The arrows will be divided among Jonas and Peredur ap Erevel.

I'll take 2 more +1 arrows and 2 more silver arrows.
Have we decided what to do next? I think the prison might have more clues. I doubt that we will be able to get more info from the townsfolk. How can we get the info about the other prisoners?

I believe I rolled a 20 on the piper,

I haven't looked--those are Knowledge (Local) or Knowledge (History) checks? Peredur has the former, along with Knowledge (Religion).

To get info on the prisoners it is know-local or history.

You can roll once for each prisoner for what you know off the top of your head. That's where Eva got her nat 20 must have heard a story about the Piper from somewhere.

Very busy weekend as it is the weekend before the holiday.

I just got in the door and am heading back out in about half an hour.

I did it when I went undercover in taverns and public places to find some info, though I'm ok if we go all together as a group.

The using Diplomacy to get research is only OK, but you can't get the DC 25 results even if you get a 25 or higher.

The rogue was a DMPC, so he's only lost if you stop playing him. (Which, given that you're already playing Eva as a DMPC, is probably a reasonable thing to do anyway.) We might be able to get away without a rogue in the medium- to long-term, though: Peredur's an urban ranger and gets trapfinding at L3.

Yeah, we're well into Code Blue territory here. Losing the GM and one player when the group is already small isn't something you're generally going to walk away from. You did your best; let's see if we can get back into it with DM Corvus. Thanks for trying to keep it going!

I'm sorry I've not posted recently, but I've been completely swamped by work this past week and staving of a sinus infection. I'm still around and willing to go on, but will probably be into next week before my work slacks up. I really do apologize.

The game has pretty much died,
If me and Peredur, don't get in the other game I'll try recruiting some that lucked out and add them to our ranks and see if I can shock it's Heart into action.

I was going to suggest that, too--unless Corvus runs several games there should be at least a few good players who didn't make the cut.

I wasn't expecting that to happen; it looks like you'll get enough players to go on without me (and some for a game you can play in as well, AZ). I would suggest--and Gavgoyle, you're the one who'll be most affected by this, so maybe you should make the call--starting over from the beginning of the AP instead of having most of the party be late arrivals.

Has the Herosim and Archon subdomains.
Shooting for Holy Vindicator.

Statblock not done but fluff nearly finished.

AZ, here's a second character concept from me. Background is only half-baked at this point, but I can certainly flesh it out more.

Janos Ardeal, a Half-Elven Spirit Ranger with undead favored enemy.

Janos was driven out of his home as a child for his mixed heritage as well as his claim to hear whispers from the stones and trees. He's lived for years in the bogs, picking his interactions with townsfolk carefully.

I'll give you all til tomorrow to have your current character concepts or another character concept written down in the Discussion form and I'll make my choices.

One tip I'll give;
a cleric's channel energy (non-variant) is good at tackling some of the haunts and undead in Harrowstone (and is required to stop a few of them) and because it's positive energy damage in an area it'll help in dealing with the incorporeal undead later on, and the other powerful undead in later books, i.e. Vamps.

I have two characters to propose.

Hjalmar the Raven, A Kellid/Ulfen blight druid. Dedicated to preserving the warped ecology of Virlych. Served the Professor as a guide as Lorrimor studied the horrors of the blight. They developed a mutual respect, and Hjalmar was shocked to learn of his death.

Oskar Haedukaar , Dwarven Monk (Zen Archer). Oskar was raised an orphan by a Dwarven monastery deep within the Five Kings Mountains. While he took to his training naturally, his drive towards benevolence hampered his enlightenment, and so he left to better life for people and find his own path. Remembering an impressive lecture he heard at the monastery given by a traveling Professor, Oskar headed to Ustalav.

I agree. That's why Bravery/Valor alt channel is awesome. Offensively channeling vs undead works normally. It's only healing which is altered (1/2 heal + Buffs AC and charge attack).
