Female Dhampir Winter Witch-1

Perception:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21

Hoping Kirallah rolls something

Female Tiefling Cleric (Fiendish Vessel) 2

I assume the roll is restricted to the vision-haver?

Or if you have looked at the bill.
I'll assume you'll look at the bill, so you can roll

Female Tiefling Cleric (Fiendish Vessel) 2

Maena casts a quick look at the bill for no good reason. Then she blinks and feels compelled to take a better look at her surroundings.

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24

Maena and Aciera:
Patrissa has a fire opal necklace

Female Tiefling Cleric (Fiendish Vessel) 2

Maena spins, "Well now, isn't this an interesting turn of events? Nice necklace, Patrissa."

Looks like someone is busted for taking a bribe.

Female Elf Monk of the Four Winds 1

Perception1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19

Female Tiefling Cleric (Fiendish Vessel) 2

Maena continues to stare at Patrissa, her trained Inquisitor's Stern Gaze boring into her, "Have you nothing to say about it?"

Kirallah:
Patrissa has a fire opal necklace

Patrissa
"About what?"

Female Dhampir Winter Witch-1

"This not a time to evade these questions my lady, if we don't know your sin we can't try to prevent the attack on you from the ghosts." He she gives a cold smile.

Female Tiefling Cleric (Fiendish Vessel) 2

Maena's icy stare turns even colder, "Why don't you tell us about the bribe around your neck?"

Patrissa

"This necklace, happens to be a gift."

Female Dhampir Winter Witch-1

"From who? Or was your secert admirer hanging around downstairs?

Patrissa

"And what has this got to do with it, as It was given anonymously."

not doing any checks?

Female Tiefling Cleric (Fiendish Vessel) 2

One day, Maena will just be able to discern lies, but in the meantime...

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26

GM:
1d20 + 10 ⇒ (8) + 10 = 18

Maena:
she's lying about the anonymous and the gift parts

Female Elf Monk of the Four Winds 1

"A likely story, seems more like payment for a specific action."

Kirallah the Wanderer wrote:
"A likely story, seems more like payment for a specific action."

Roll sense motive or a diplomacy

Female Tiefling Cleric (Fiendish Vessel) 2

Maena says, "Except, of course, that it was neither a gift nor anonymous. Care to try again? Though I should warn you that the sisters trained me to spot lies like the ones you tried to sell a moment ago."

Patrissa

"Ok, I was payed off by the judge."

Female Elf Monk of the Four Winds 1

Sense motive1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14

being paid off is true, and the judge is iffy

Female Dhampir Winter Witch-1

"If it truly was the judge that paid you off, did give you a reason why he wanted this man silenced?" She flips through the ledger again and stares at Halgark.

Patrissa

"He did not say, and I was smart enough to not ask."

Female Tiefling Cleric (Fiendish Vessel) 2

Maena glares at Patrissa, "First lies, and then half-truths. Things would go better for all of us if you would tell the whole truth. Unless you like the idea of being trapped in here with a vengeful spirit? Especially since he probably already knows what you've done?"

Kirallah did not roll high enough to know if the Judge was truth or fiction, and I don't see sense motive checks

Female Tiefling Cleric (Fiendish Vessel) 2

Sorry, misunderstood "iffy", from above. Disregard (sadly, too late to delete)

any rolls to see if Patrissa's last two statements are true or false?

Female Tiefling Cleric (Fiendish Vessel) 2

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28

Maena:
The first statement, it's true about the pay off, but the judge was a lie, you get the feeling it was another member of the judicial system.
The second statement is true in that she did not ask.

Female Tiefling Cleric (Fiendish Vessel) 2

Maena glares at Patrissa, "First outright lies, and now half-truths. Things would go better for all of us if you would tell the whole truth. Who *really* gave that to you and why? And don't tell us it's because your eyes are so pretty... unless you like the idea of being trapped in here with a vengeful spirit? Especially since he probably already knows what you've done?"

:) Don't lie to Inquisitors. We don't like it.

Patrissa

"Well, he was part of the judicial system for sure, and I won't say any more as you don't know the lengths they will go.
As they stacked the deck starting with Malgrim, a few other sure bet jurors and myself."

Female Tiefling Cleric (Fiendish Vessel) 2

Maena shakes her head with exaggerated patience, "I believe, considering where we are, how we can't escape, and what happened to Malgrim, that you may be worrying about the wrong thing taking its revenge on you. However, if you're willing to die here to avoid possibly being punished later, that is your choice, even if it is foolish to the extreme."

With that she turns and looks at Kirallah and Aciera, "Am I the only one who's getting frustrated enough to just wash our hands of the lot of them? Especially when they can't be bothered to help us in our attempts to save them? I am not certain the spirit is not right in avenging the horrible distortion of my Lord's justice here."

Sir Rekkart

"I know I was not bought off, but then why did I vote Guilty"

Roll a spellcraft or know(arcana) to figure it out.

Female Dhampir Winter Witch-1

I thought we already figured out he was enchanted before? but I am sucker for rolling dice sooo...........spellcraft:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12

Female Tiefling Cleric (Fiendish Vessel) 2

We did establish that, I'm rather certain.

I'd forgotten if we did or didn't and was in a rush.

Damage:1d3 + 1d4 ⇒ (2) + (2) = 4

PC's go first

Female Tiefling Cleric (Fiendish Vessel) 2

Maena starts at the sudden appearance of the beast, then quickly draws her mace to strike it down.

Heavy Mace 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15 for 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

it attacks Aceria
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
and misses

Female Elf Monk of the Four Winds 1

Kirallah's staff twirls with incredible speed, lashing out to strike at the blood sucking creature.

1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18 1d6 ⇒ 6
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13 1d6 ⇒ 2

Kirallah's staff hit's the leech so hit it pops,
and blood goes everywhere.

Female Dhampir Winter Witch-1

Seeing all that blood splatter Aciera's stomach growls, and so the young Dhampir takes a tug on her wineskin that is mixed with a special ingredient. "Well that was intresting.....Whats a leech doing here?"

Knowledge(nature):1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13

Female Tiefling Cleric (Fiendish Vessel) 2

Maena asks, "And what has it been feeding on, that it was so swollen?"
