Female Tiefling Cleric (Fiendish Vessel) 1

Maena says, "This spirit seems to be seeking Justice for itself, and now it seems to have found it...."

Her voice trails off, and she continues as if thinking aloud, "...I suppose we'll learn how each of the rest of you wronged it by how it kills you, as well. Unless you'd rather tell us now and maybe apologize, so we might try to appease it?"

Maena casts a Detect Magic on the corpse, looking for lingering magics, as well as any useful items the dead thing clearly no longer requires.

I believe they spilled their guts earlier

Halgrak-> threatened
Ebin -> spite
Malgrim -> payed off
Madge-> revenge
Killian -> can't remember
the rest believed him guilty.

Female Dhampir Winter Witch-1

Aciera Longress :
you find on Malgrim's hanging body;
a potion of cure moderate wounds
a gold cigar case filled with ten cigars and tools,
his mwk studded leather (can't quite remove if off his body),
silver tindertwig case,
small necklace pouch filled with gold and silver teeth,
taken from his enemies (and you think one is Ebin's).

Female Dhampir Winter Witch-1

Aciera pockets the gold cigar and silver tindertwig cases. Tosses the potion to Kiley then fumbles through the pouch. She pulls out a tooth and looks at Ebin, "HHhhhhmmmm, looks like this might be yours? Would you like it back?" If he does she would give it to him, and looks at the rest to see if ones the judges.

Perception:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18

Female Tiefling Cleric (Fiendish Vessel) 1

also still here...

Female Elf Monk of the Four Winds 1

"So it stands to reason that this haunt will not be satisfied untill each of you that is guilty of convicting an innocent man, is made to suffer an appropriately just fate."

Killian
in his British accent
"I believe so.
But since we don't know the rules
it could be those that cover things up are killed."

Patrissa
as she plays with her necklace
"That does sounds plausible, Killian."

Female Elf Monk of the Four Winds 1

"In which case it would benefit all of you to admit any and all wrong doing or subterfuge"

Female Tiefling Cleric (Fiendish Vessel) 1

Maena adds, "And, perhaps, attempt to make amends."

They Spilled their guts earlier
Halgrak-> threatened
Ebin -> spite
Malgrim -> payed off
Madge-> revenge
Killian -> can't remember
the rest believed him guilty.

Killian
in his British accent
"Most of us of the jury, have already revealed some form of tempering on our part."

I'll be labeling this as a dead game soon,
As I have not seen any player posting in over a week.

Female Dhampir Winter Witch-1

"Okay, let's get moving no use worrying about this goblin he had it coming and I think the rest of you might but we won't find answers just standing here." Aciera moves to the next door ignoring any complaints from the other guilty parties.

Sorry I didn't realize that I hadn't replied in a little bit.

@Aciera Longress:
I didn't mean sound angry with my words, as text has a hard time getting emotions across at times.
Until I looked at them again from a different view.

I should have posted on monday some NPC interactions

I also forgot about the long weekend in Canada,
and that some could be camping.

Female Elf Monk of the Four Winds 1

Kirallah follows wary of some other ghostly trap.

Overview Map

Female Tiefling Cleric (Fiendish Vessel) 1

Or otherwise running around, but yes.

Maena nods and mentally amends Aciera's speech, So, repent, the end is near...

Maena wonders aloud, "Perhaps we should check the exit again? Maybe it's rage is sated, at least in the short term? Worst case, we're still locked in here with something seeking vengeance."

If you check the door it's still solid as a rock.

Anyone going to check the other rooms?

Female Tiefling Cleric (Fiendish Vessel) 1

Maena sighs as she tries the door, "Well, a girl could hope. Since we're still locked in her with something that wants to kill at least some of us, we may as well keep exploring rather than standing around and waiting for it to succeed."

She approaches the door to the next room (north of room 5), and examines it carefully, then listens, Let's hope there's nothing in there that leaps out to smash us...

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12

This room contains one long oval-shaped
wooden table and twelve rickety, worn chairs.
Razor-thin shafts of moonlight peek through
one large window covered with rotting boards.

Room 6

Female Tiefling Cleric (Fiendish Vessel) 1

Maena looks back at the others, the ice and contempt returning to her voice, "The deliberation room, I assume? Was this the place you collectively decided to kill what looks more and more like an innocent man?"

Female Dhampir Winter Witch-1

Looking into the room, Aciera moves her arm up gesturing for them to go in, "So who made the big problems in this room? Please step forward and be ready for your judgement."

Killian
in his British accent
"I believe that none of use made problems in this room."

Female Dhampir Winter Witch-1

"K then...." Aciera moves over to the rotting boards and tries to pull one off.

Str check:1d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

The boards are rock solid.

Female Dhampir Winter Witch-1

Aciera takes a look at the rotting boards, she takes out her dagger uses it to examine the odd wood further.

Knowledge(nature):1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15

it's wood, that could be made stronger by the magic in this place.

Female Tiefling Cleric (Fiendish Vessel) 1

Maena looks under the table and chairs, searching the room for something that will, no doubt, jump out and pummel her as she finds it. ;)

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13

Maena:
on the underside of the table table you find etched into the table
“Who’s funny now Mord?” next to “E.B.”

Female Tiefling Cleric (Fiendish Vessel) 1

Maena stands again and looks at the jurors, her icy rage returning,
"And what is the meaning of this? As if we needed more evidence that justice was abused? By the Prince of Law, I cannot believe you people."

Give me an int or wis check (DC: 6) and you know who did it.

Female Elf Monk of the Four Winds 1

Kirallah walks over to Maena's findings and studies the writing for a moment.

Wisdom1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15

Those that see it and make the check:
It was Ebin

Female Dhampir Winter Witch-1

Int check:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Female Tiefling Cleric (Fiendish Vessel) 1

Wisdom: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

I assume as each of you find and figure it out you look at the gnome.

Female Tiefling Cleric (Fiendish Vessel) 1

Maena turns the stern gaze she spent months learning on the gnome, "So, what have you got to say for yourself?"

Ebin
with a fake smile and sweating a bit
"It was a Joke...."

Female Tiefling Cleric (Fiendish Vessel) 1

Maena nods, her tone complete ice, "Indeed, I can see the humour... apparently you're the funny one now."

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10

it's a half-truth

Female Dhampir Winter Witch-1

"I wonder what the spirit's sense of humor is like then, don't you Ebin my boy?" She gives the gnome a twisted smile. "For your sake I hope it's just a knock knock joke."

Ebin
you see him curl up into a fetal position mumbling
"No knock knock jokes, knock knock jokes"

he's recalling some bad memories.
