I'm assuming that Gitano will move up to the enemies before my turn.

Delphinia moves up behind Gitano and Kitajo, and attacks the yellow guard (using Phalanx Formation as usual). As she does, she calls out to Bengeirr, taunting him. "Why don't you try using that silly toy of yours on me?"

(Hopefully that lantern can't get past my cold resistance... I'd hate to die on my first adventure!)

Gitano moves in closing the gap between he and the man with orange chest hair. He hits the man across the face leaving a lepistate scar from chin to ear. A bit more than expected but enough to enrage the barbarian further.

Kitajo slides in beside Gitano making a quick jab that doesn’t quite hit hard enough.

Delphinia Jabs in with her Glaive hitting the man with the orange chest hair in the kidney. Letting out a death scream "Gahh!!!" he falls to the floor.

Enora Waits for the oppotune moment to act seeing what Ptehp will do. Bot to delay hope you dont mind Redelia.

Spotting her chance, Delphinia rushes up the stairs behind Gitano to confront the lantern's bearer. "Your villainy will not be tolerated any longer! Shelyn guide us!" As she moves, her body begins to softly shimmer with a rose-hued aura, and her movement leaves behind a trail of rose petals that quickly fade away.

As a free action, Delphinia activates her controlled bloodrage, gaining a +4 bonus to Strength (increasing it to 18). She moves up the stairs to behind Gitano, and as a standard action, makes an opening strike (using Phalanx Formation) against Bengeirr.

Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19

If Delphinia's attack hits, in addition to dealing normal damage, Gitano can make a single melee attack against Bengeirr as an immediate action.

Gitano Moves up and makes a demand of the man with a Greatsword across his back.
Kitajo helps the man with the grey hat along with taking a much needed Nap.
Delphinia moves up behind Gitano using her training wisely she stabs at Bengeirr and hits the mans side cutting into flesh. Gitano takes the oppotunity to try and attack Bengeirr yet the mans Half-Plate halts his blade from digging in.
Ptehp dances a little on his own and smacks the man in the grey hat with his whip knocking to the ground.
The remaining warrior below the balcony moves up to a new target and cuts at Kitajo hitting the monk across his shoulders.

Bengeirr seeing that he may be out matched soon changes tactics and drops the Lantern on the ground and Draws his Great sword yelling "You Foul dogs will die today. Gorum take his Head!!" his blade glows bright as he swings at Gitano.

Still pulsing with the rosy aura of her battle trance, Delphinia gives Gitano a nod of thanks before turning her attention back to Bengeirr. "Surrender now, scoundrel, or prepare to taste defeat!"

Delphinia maintains her bloodrage as a free action, then makes an opening strike (with flanking) against Bengeirr as a standard action. Apparently she stole all of Gitano's luck.

Attack: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 5 + 2 = 26

If Delphinia's attack hits, in addition to dealing normal damage, Gitano can make a single melee attack (with flanking) against Bengeirr as an immediate action.

Damage: 1d10 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9

Delphinia then retreats down the stairs, both in preparation for dropping out of her battle trance and to avoid retaliatory strikes from that greatsword.

Gitano dances about the Greatsword toting cleric in front of him to give a better vantage point for Delphinia to drive her Glaive home into the mans chest. All the while "Distracting" the man to the best of his abilitites.

Delphinia swings her glaive out high again bringing it down across bengeirr's chest leaving a trail of feathers with each blow. She then heads down the stairs to give Ptehp a chance to get in there and do his best.

Bengeirr shouts at the retreating Bloodrager "I'd rather die than surrender to you!"

Ptehp lashes out at the last rager standing drawing more blood. Seeing an opening he heads towards the staits to better assist Gitano take out the cleric above.

Enora thinking of her friend Kitajo and how he would feel being blasted with fire moves to better cast her spells. A few Arcane gestures later she points the palm of her hand towards the man in brown furs and envelopes him in red flame.

Enora looks at the nasty cleric who has caused all the problems, and decides to try to keep him from hurting her friends. She looks at him, opens her mouth, and sends out a magical screech that no one else can hear. She uses her magic to amplify the sound (spend 1 point to increase DC by 1)

Seizing the opportunity Delphinia grants, Gitano immediately attacks Bengeirr again.

Gitano makes use of the opening that Delphinia gives him and drives his rapier deep into the Ulfen leaders side, pulling out a wide stream of blood splatters the floor as Bengeirr falls into the railing of the balcony, unable to hold his weight he breaks through landing on the ground below.

Kitajo unfazed by the falling body ensures the Warrior in Brown furs is no longer a threat.

Standing around the warehouse you see that Bengeirr is still breathing heavily but looks as if he will die soon, and only two of the Ulfen Barbarians are knocked out yet stable. Claimed by Pharisma the others have passed on.

Bengeirr’s group have yet to pack up what they had taken from Skelg’s vault and stow it aboard the Ulfen Longship moored inside the warehouse. All the items that Tyros mentioned were taken are all upstairs in the Balcony area. Including the Magical Lantern you also find carpets, urns, sculptures, and other works of art all you can guess weigh a considerable amount and you also find a box with two bottles of a blueish hued liquid sloshing about inside.
Enora easily determines that these are Potions of Cure Moderate Wounds.

Gitano finds some suitable material and binds the prisoners. "Let's see what they can tell us about Skelg's affliction."

Once they're secure, Gitano uses his wand of cure light wounds to heal them enough to regain consciousness.

Biding Bengeirr and his men is easy plenty of rope and rigging on the Ulfen Longship. As Gitano wakes Bengeirr he stares at you coldly. "Skelg deserves the fate of a death in bed. I would gladly shine the light of the Beacon on him again. The Beacon of the North was to lead my fathers funeral ship into the after life." Bengeirr mums up and will no longer answer any more of your questions.

Happy Friday Everyone!

While Gitano and Enora examine the Beacon, Delphinia Kitajo guard the remaining warriors ensuring they no longer cause any issues.

As Sancho begins moving all the items out he call outs to Gitano telling him that something smells very off. Even stronger than the smell coming from Sancho :) In the bottom of the ship are seven bodies tightly wrapped in sailcloth. They are the remains of warriors killed in the two raids on Greydog Manor.

Continuing to move all the items out of the warehouse Sancho nabs a mundane lantern of similar size and design to the Beacon of the North that hangs from the prow of the ship. He also finds tucked beneath one of the benches is a small, ornately carved oaken chest inlaid with gold and precious stones, itself worth quite a bit, yet to large for Sancho to easily pocket like the bottle of rum he snagged a minute ago.

DESCRIPTION
The Beacon of the North is a huge bullseye lantern designed to be hung on the prow of a ship. To activate its powers requires a special lamp oil that only the white witches of Irrisen know how to create. It can hold enough oil to burn for 8 hours, although it currently has only 2 hours of oil remaining. When lit, the lantern burns with a cold light, and if the burning oil is used as a weapon, it does cold damage instead of fire damage.

The lantern also opens portals under the right circumstances. If hung on the prow of Haldyr Bjornsson’s funeral ship (to which it is attuned) and lit, it opens a ship- sized portal to Whitethrone harbor in Irrisen. If the light is focused on the main mast of the ship or on the tapestry depicting the ship, a 5-foot-wide portal opens connecting the tapestry to the ship’s main mast so creatures touching one appear at the other. The portals remain open as long as the lantern is lit, even if it no longer shines directly on the portal. A portal appears as a shimmering blue-white patch of light, and it is impossible to see what is on the other side.

As a standard action, the wielder can focus the beam on a single living creature, which creates a small portal from the frozen north to the creature’s body (Will save DC 15 negates). Cold energy leaks through this tiny portal, exposing the creature to a permanent cold environment. If the Beacon is focused on the creature for multiple rounds, the portal opens further. A second failed save worsens the exposure to severe cold, and a third failed save causes extreme cold. Regardless of the level of cold, the portal only inflicts environmental damage once per day plus once for every round the Beacon shines on the creature. Any creature that dies from the environmental damage caused by the Beacon rises the following midnight as a frozen zombie.

Creating a portal of any size consumes 10 minutes of oil. If the Beacon is used to open a ship-sized portal, all other small portals created by it close immediately. If the Beacon of the North is lit while separated from the ship it is attuned to, the ship slowly turns and drifts in the direction of the Beacon unless actively steered in another direction or moored in place. This continues even after the Beacon is doused and only ends when the two are reunited or a knowledgeable spellcaster attunes the Beacon to a different ship.

You all find your selves in the swelteringly hot room of Skelg the Ripper. Snacho although slovenly in appearance knows how to take an inventory handing it over to Tyros. "This is good, very good, I like your numbers work." Skelg listens to Tyros rattle off the list and then Skelg struggles to say "G-g-g-give th-th-them the potions." Tyros begrudingly gives you the potions back.

Upon listing the Beacon of the North Skelg becomes more animated than usual, speaking with a little more life in his words. G-g-go through the p-p-portal and f-f-f-fix this!"


Enora takes the lantern and goes back to the basement where the tapestry was. When the whole team is gathered there, she drinks a potion of resist energy, and then tries to use the lantern to activate the portal.

Enora Shines the Beacon across the Tapestry and where once a great depiction of a Ulfen Long ship once stood is a shimmering white patch of light shimmering and shifting as if water on a surface I'm thinking Stargate here

As you step through the portal, you find yourself in a strange ice-cave. Sunlight filters through the walls and ceiling, and three braziers give some warmth to this otherwise chilly space. Directly ahead of you, a tunnel leads through the ice, sloping steeply downward. Behind you, a shimmering portal hangs on what appears to be a main mast embedded in the ice. Following the mast downward, you can barely make out the blurry outline of a ship’s deck below.

You are effectively 20 feet above the deck standing on a floor of Ice

You head for the opening at the end of the ice cave. The sloped tunnel is slippery, but after a long curve it suddenly opens into another cave at the rear deck of a ship. More braziers keep the worst of the cold at bay, but a wall of solid ice blocks access to the foredeck. A large drum stands on the deck, and behind it is a trapdoor leading into the hold.

Gitano you know that common (Its not Magical) drums like the one before you is important but you cant seem to remember why. You however notice that there is a magical presence below you in the bowels of the ship.

Need a profession sailor check, something similar or a really good guess to discern the nature of this drum.

You open the trap door and head down into the bowels of the ship. The smell of death and rot fills this lower deck, even with the cold. It is darker down here without the sunlight filtering through the ice, and no braziers burn. Shadowy movements are visible in the darkness, accompanied by an eerie creaking noise as though someone were still working the oars. A figure moves toward you along the aisle between the rowing benches. It appears to be a withered human wearing an Ulfen burial mask.

Darkvision:
Two of the figures look a little less for wear and they are clothed like Skelg's men.

Gitano:
The mask is where the magical emanations are coming from.

The five figures begin to move more fervently and come towards you ina menacing manner.
