Bambang Kuwatputra |
Bambang takes time to continue staunching his wounds.
Heal: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Bambang is down to 10/14 so he'll use the wand.
Seeing the wounds are still not closing, he uses his wand to stop the wounds bleeding once and for all.

Victor Mordenheim |
"Right. I have no desire to mine guano, so let's keep moving."
So saying, he moves on to the next door, and after thoroughly checking it for traps, opens it.
Assuming that it is not trapped, of course!
DM Amazing Red |
The vaunted ceiling of this vast chamber shows significant signs of damage, with numerous cracks along its surface. In the center of the room, a 10-foot-wide bridge crosses a deep chasm. On the other side, a pair of stone statues watch over the end of the bridge in front of a set of grand brass double doors. The statues depict villagers holding shields and spears.
Wei Tchak |
Tchak follows Victor, weapon out and ready in case the statues animate or something else proves hostile. As they move along the bridge, he says softly to Victor, "Are you sure this is wise?"
Bambang Kuwatputra |
"Much as I am curious about what would be triggered, my caution warns me against finding out. This looks 10 feet across, so I believe we can all jump across?"
Would that be DC10 to jump across? If so, Bambang would remove his armor, stow his shield, i.e. to remove all his ACP, to have an Acrobatics of +1, and take 10 to jump across.
Victor Mordenheim |
Victor nods at the middle of the room.
"It looks like there is a pressure plate..."
He then carefully attempts to disable it.
Disable Device: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22.
Bambang Kuwatputra |
Oops, scratch Bambang's action/
Victor Mordenheim |
Not to be taken in, Victor continues his carefully exploration of the room, before moving onto the doors to the south.
Again, Perception 'Take 10' on the room (20), then 'Take 20' on the doors (30), before opening them (assuming that they are not trapped).
Also, if we have a spare wand charge, I wouldn't mind it - I am on 7/11 hit points.
Bambang Kuwatputra |
Ah, sorry didn't notice. Did Fyssaryx take some damage, too??
Bambang draws forth a charge from the wand to heal Victor.
wand of CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Since we seem to be reaching the end of the crypt (the party can tell from the map we found), shall we exhaust the wand? 3 charges left. I think we each have a potion of CLW in case we need more healing later.
Bambang Kuwatputra |
Charge 1: wand of CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
Bambang Kuwatputra |
If no one else needs healing, then let's proceed then. Bambang will cast lead blades just before we enter the room.
DM Amazing Red |
The wide brass doors swing open on silent hinges to reveal a vast crypt. The only light emanates from a torch mounted above the crypt, flickering with a pale golden fire. Tall pillars march across the chamber, ending at a dais on the far side, on which is set a large stone sarcophagus. A single form rests beside the coffin, that of a comely woman in tattered clothing. She appears to be asleep or unconscious. As you first enter the chamber, a dry mirthless laugh can be heard from the dark recesses of the tomb.
"So Kassen's heroes have come to fight me again. You will make fine minions in my army of the dead. Come and meet your fate. I am Asar and I will destroy you." With that a wicked-looking skeleton strides into view wearing polished mail and brandishing a cruel sword in both hands. A cold blue flame burns in its empty eye sockets. Four skeletons though less impressive climb out of their coffins.

Seeing that the party is once again facing facing skeletons, Bambang pulls out his makeshift club instead of his battleaxe. Taking one step across to prevent a potential flanking, he swings at the skeleton in front of him.

With the skeleton out of the way, Bambang once again summons forth a celestial pony to assist his party. He then moves forward into melee, hoping to take some pressure of his team mates.

Bambang Kuwatputra |
With Asar the sole enemy left, Bambang and the celestial pony concentrates their attack on him. The pony steps one side to attack at the same time as Bambang. After his attack, Bambang similarly shifts his position.
Pony 5-foot step to the left. Then attack simultaneously as Bambang, providing flank to each other. Then Bambang 5-foot step to the left, so that Tchak can move into flanking with him. (Better for Tchak than the pony to get the flanking bonus as the pony is not likely to hit.)
