To add to the ravages of a brutal civil war The Schaler Trivarium must also now suffer a terrible plague. You have accepted a mission to deliver a vital supply of much needed serum to the system. Delivery of the serum and other much needed medical supplies to an awaiting hospital ship, it should be an easy mission.

There's a third man, coming down the corridor, behind the two goons who emerged from your room. He is carrying a bag across his chest, with his right arm resting inside the bag.

You are sure he has a weapon concealed in the bag.

Aurora tenses up, sensing that trouble is about to begin. Her gunshot wound from earlier still pains her and she no wish to be shot again.


Goon #1 apparently shifting tactics : "Just tell us what you did with Bly's package, and you can walk away from all this! Kamo might even see that you get compensated for your troubles! "

Anson tenses, keeping his pistol aimed at the two men. The whole reason he's involved in this mess is to keep Aurora's promise and for Georg's legal defense. And he has no expertise with law except with speeding violations.

He asks his companions on how to proceed, not noticing the third man approaching them. "Aeryl? Aurora? Your opinions?"

The third man drops the bag, revealing a compact SMG in his hands.

Initiative of gunman just arrived on scene: 2d6 ⇒ (4, 3) = 7

Note that the two goons are between you and the 3rd gunman; it'll be impossible for you two to fire on each other without taking them out first.


So Aeryl, you going to shout out a warning, or draw a weapon, or hit the deck; or all of the above.


While pulling her pistol and diving for cover, Aeryl calls a warning to the others!

NP. They haven't been really regular.

The duo sees Aeryl diving to the ground, and reach for holstered weapons; while at the same time the gunman behind them lets loose with a spray of bullets.

The burst is wild, sending bullets punching into the acoustic ceiling tiles.

The two goons take a round, confusedly drawing their weapons.


Oops, forgot that with the third gun-man using auto-fire he'll get another attack on his first round.

The ceiling tile in the section of the hall way has been completely destroyed!

OK. The initiative for the man with the SMG will be reduced to 3 for the next round, due to his decision to use Autofire.

Anson already has their weapon out but is still caught off-guard by the sudden appearance of the third man, flinching at the loud spray of gunfire and falling ceiling pieces.


Even the third gunman appears to be somewhat stunned by his inability to actually do anyone any serious harm.


Aeryl fires at one of the gunmen.

2d6 + 1 ⇒ (4, 1) + 1 = 6


Would that be one of the two goons who initially confronted you, or the third man, who showed up to spray the hall (ineffectively with bullets) (Though in either case, you missed).


This being for the two goons who followed you from your room.

Aurora looks about to find someplace to hide. She is unarmed and has no desire to be shot again!


Do you want to simply scurry over to the side of the hall, or run further down the hall, away from the gunmen?

Aurora will duck to the side of the hall to try to stay out of the way of incoming fire.


And Fineline, fight, flight, or try to calm the situation down? (Of course after a short burst of auto-fire the last is probably very unlikely).


The light's flicker, and then go out, save for the dim glow cast by the emergency light-strips set in the base-boards of the walls.

A dithering Fineline looses his action for this round.


So Aeryl (Boone), its a new round and its your spot in the initiative order.

-1 DM to any combat rolls for the murky lighting.


Aeryl once again attempts to fire at one of the goons who has the automatic weapon (sprayed the room last round, I think)

Attack: 2d6 - 1 ⇒ (2, 1) - 1 = 2

She calls to the others.

"Run, get out of here and find your friend. I will try to hold them off!'


Aeryl's errant shot strikes one of the other two thugs.

Boone, roll 2d6 'stunning' damage: for the stunner.

Sorry for the delay. From the previous roll when the wounded man attacked Aurora, the gun I'm holding seems to be a Snub Pistol.

When it's Anson's turn, he snaps back into attention and brings the gun he grabbed up, not knowing its exact specs but trusting it'll do the job as he fires at the other goon.

Attack: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (4, 4) + 1 = 9 +1 from Dexterity


Well you certainly didn't hit the gunman you were targeting, the loon with the SMG.

The goon Boone hit with stunner, does a flailing, twitching jig, and then collapses into a boneless heap.

Fineline, you going to shoot the nutter with the SMG, or the remaining of the pair that came out of your room.


Fineline, I'm going to have you take your 'cue' from Boone: you're targeting the other of the pair that followed you from your room.

snub pistol damage: 3d6 - 3 ⇒ (3, 5, 1) - 3 = 6


Wounded goon: "You dirty bastard!"

"Get on the floor and don't do anything rash, your friend at the back needs to drop his weapon."


He snarls and fires back at Fineline.

Goon's attack: 2d6 - 1 ⇒ (1, 6) - 1 = 6


Well, if that's everyone else, the turn ends with lunatic with the SMG.

The adman with the SMG hesitates: if he fires at the other remaining thug, he'll also Fineline in his line of fire.


So it's a new round, beginning with Aeryl (Boone) .

So the prior post should be 'madman with the SMG hesitates...he'll also have Fineline in his line of fire.'


Aeryl aims for the goon with the SMG again, this time hoping to distract him from firing on Fineline.

Attack: 2d6 - 1 ⇒ (2, 2) - 1 = 3


The air around Fineline crackles with a powerful current, as the stun-bolt narrowly misses him (Fineline will take a - 1 DM to any actions undertaken this round, due to the near miss).


"Oops..sorry!"

Aeryl ducks back down after almost shooting Fineline.


The goon facing Fineline snaps off a shot.
