Knowledge (Local): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
GM_IamZero000 |
The usual, wolves, forest children, maybe ghosts if we are unlucky.Well, lead on.She answers
the forest before you is dark, the canopy is to high to see. the brush and tree's around the path before you is thick. The path is a simple dirt path. You hear an oddly pleasant song, playing throughout the forest.
Brand Hopespring |
"Is this safe music? I mean not a er curse?
GM_IamZero000 |
It's fine, it's the forest's singing. it's said that those with an ear for music can use the song to navigate the forests. even find your way out of Idris to the outer worlds. She seems to be humming along with the song, bobbing her her side to side along with it
Baylin Storysong |
closes his eyes for a moment and takes it in
Fascinating
Will listen and try to hum along with her
Perform (Song): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20
GM_IamZero000 |
You pick up the joy filled tune yourself managing to hum along
Baylin you can here though the song and voices that there are many people singing. Each different distances away coming from different directions.
You feel as though you know the forest like the back of your hand now. What may seem dark and mysterious to the others is clear to you.
your benefits
You no longer need a map to navigate this forest, you know it as if you've lived here your whole life.
the path you need is a day's hike ahead to get out of the forest and then another day up a mountain on the other side.
You have also gained knowledge of the many other routes, some of which lead out of Idris.
GM_IamZero000 |
Continuing on through the forest, it's silent and dark. The music gets louder as you move forward. Who ever is in the farthest behind give me a perception check
You hear the bushes behind you rustle, turning to check you see yellow eyes on each side of the road ready to pounce. a pair of clearly hungry wolves.
Brand Hopespring |
Brand continues to keep his eyes peeled at the trail ahead.
GM_IamZero000 |
As you all continue to walk the trail you hear a growling, turning around Scarlet is surrounded on by three wolves, pouncing out of the brush a single much larger wolf in the front.
Roll for initiative guys, there are four wolves three about 5 feet from Scarlet on each side and one in the very front of the party a much larger wolf

You all gather yourselves together, following the forest's songs. wandering until the path comes to a steep drop down.
it's too steep to just walk without falling or losing your balance.
Brand Hopespring |
Brand looks about pleased that they put the wolves down so swiftly. "Is wolf good eating? Can't er say I ever ah tried it. But ah these skins might be worth some scratch. Anybody know how to skin them."
After the group moves in and comes to the drop. Brand looks about. "Is there a way down? Do we have rope?"
Ammon Knight of Ragathiel |
Very steep, must be at least 60 ft, you can't even see the bottom
Brand Hopespring |
"Narine um is there a way around?" Brand looks over the edge. "Well if you er dangle me at un the end of the rope I ah might be able to offer an opinion about the bottom.
