Horranath let out a roar of surprise as the cannonball shot through the air, and swooped under the launched missile. It had come fairly close to hitting her, though - it wouldn't take much more accuracy to actually hit her. She darted back to another two hundred feet away and hissed something in Draconic - and as she did so, you could feel the pulse of incredible power infusing her magic and enhancing it beyond what spells were normally capable of. A barrage of five magical missiles shot through the air and unerringly towards Adam, actually moving around Sashin's Shield and pounding into its side.

Spending 2 Mythic Points to cast "Shield Other" on Adam as per Discussion"
So big, and yet so fragile. How did we so utterly fail to reinforce it's structure...it must be because of it's weird aura...this is not what we tried to call, something else came, something lawful...it weakened our summons- well, it will have to do...I'll try and use my own vital energy to keep it in shape...

Adam: 259 HP
Yin: 196 HP

"So you want to play the ranged game, do you?" Sashin yelled at Horranath.

"That's fine, my friend here has a couple of things for you."

Stand- Greater Vital Strike cannon, Extra- GVS Cannon, Move- move back 130 ft.

Attack 1: 1d20 + 42 ⇒ (20) + 42 = 62

Not sure if this is even necessary, but. Applying Exhausting Critical, in case it does matter.

Crit Confirm: 1d20 + 42 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 42 + 4 = 56

Awesome! Auto-hit, with a possible second hit; take that, worm! Hope that crit works.

Fortification: 1d4 ⇒ 2 Nope.

The dragon's armor flashed as the first shot came in, and she let out a cry of mingled pain and surprise as the first cannonball struck her squarely in the chest. She did have defenses... but not ones great enough to stop much more than a tithe of the damage that cannonball had just unleashed. She circled around a moment later, as the second ball came in...

Reflex, Rock Catching: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (7) + 22 = 29

...and hit her right in the kisser. With an angry roar, she flapped her wings once, then spat out ten magical missiles that shot through the air and towards Adam.

Augmented Mythic Magic Missile, dealing Force Damage: 20d4 + 10 ⇒ (1, 2, 3, 3, 3, 2, 1, 3, 2, 4, 4, 1, 4, 1, 4, 2, 4, 2, 3, 3) + 10 = 62

She arced around a moment later, shooting away from Adam - and ending 670 feet away from the giant robot, well outside of town by this point. Black flames erupted from her mouth a moment later, scorching her own body to fill her with power.

Healing: 10d8 ⇒ (3, 2, 8, 7, 8, 4, 5, 3, 1, 1) = 42

Adam: 227 HP.

Seeing how things turn into a Ranged Duel, Yin focuses the last of the magical strenght and lets the power flow into Adams Gun Arm, feeling it empowering through their shared vitality.
"Now, Barrett!"
Casting Greater Magic Weapon on the Gun Arm, +3 att/+3 damage

"C'mon you snake! You'll have to do better than that!"

Barrett takes control of the titan and lines up another cannon shot at the fleeing dragon.

Cannon: 1d20 + 41 ⇒ (19) + 41 = 60
Damage: 40d6 + 5 ⇒ (5, 1, 3, 5, 5, 2, 6, 2, 2, 6, 4, 6, 1, 4, 6, 4, 1, 5, 6, 5, 5, 5, 2, 5, 2, 3, 2, 2, 3, 1, 3, 5, 6, 2, 4, 1, 3, 4, 3, 5) + 5 = 150

Barret: Move Action to move closer 130 ft (should reduce range penalties to -4). Standard Action attack w/Greater Vital Strike

Once more, the dragon failed to grab hold of the projectile as it shot through the air - and Horranath let out a pained groan before turning and shooting towards the horizon as fast as she could fly, apparently no longer willing to suffer this kind of brutal pummeling. At the far point of her flight, the dragon blinked out of sight - something that was obvious, even from this distance, to be an invisibility spell.

There were worlds where creatures fought to the death every time, never having plans to escape or deal with situations - but this one, at least, wasn't one of them. Thus, Adam stood there as Horranath slipped invisibly off, his silvery armor illuminated by the flickering flames of the burning city and the cries of what few citizens were still arrived.

Over the next few weeks, Sashin spent some time pushing Yin into doing a number of divination spells to help properly locate Horranath's lair - which was ultimately pinpointed deep within a local mountain. Sashin promptly darted into the cavern and, after munching on a number of minions, sat down on top of the pile of treasure and promptly ignored the series of letters that followed, complaining about the methods used to win the pile and accusing Sashin of undragonly behavior. Having actually sat on the treasure, though, the umbral dragon ultimately worked together with Mineire to move the treasure back to Sashin's home, away from the young whippersnappers that would otherwise be trying to steal it.

Yin was rather busy doing other things, because among the burning ruins of the city, she found one of the 23 holy texts of a little-known goddess of paradoxes, and the book jumped subjects so fast that even the insane fey girl often found it hard to keep up with the changes in topics. Still, Yin had found religion - or maybe it had found her, instead, and she was delighted to realize that she had become a High Priest. Then she found out that everyone else of her faith was a High Priest, too...

Barrett soon left the world, continuing his hunt for Edwin Fasco after vanishing through the Grand Staircase. Still, the events on the world of Golarion had been quite an educational experience, and served as a reminder that there were foes that even many Lords together would have trouble killing. He learned to become more adaptable and independent, eventually developing an area-blast bullet fueled by destructive power. As for what happened when he finally found Edwin, well... that may be a story for another time, but let's just say he hadn't searched tirelessly just to end things in an hour or two...

Mineire came out rather well from all of this, and though Sashin jealously guarded Horranath's hoard, there were other ways to profit from everything that had gone on... and the Gossamer Merchant began to visit different worlds and planes in this region, trading exotic materials and supplies in order to build a truly fabulous vault of treasure. Then he found out just how much treasure was being kept in the vaults of Hell, and a thoughtful expression crossed his face...

Oneidros ultimately left as well, this time to find Jaelandra and avenge the Blooming Grove. Incidentally, several years after fighting Horranath, Oneidros met up with Sashin again - and the two of them got to spend quite a lot of time delivering vengeance to the fey's enemies. With the help of his friends, the killer rabbit ultimately did locate Jaelandra, and the two of them soon returned to the fey worlds, where they vanished into the wilds.

Congratulations on beating Blood of Dragonscar.
