Rhoekk of the Tardaad Aiel |
There are several guards on the round 5 map near Rhoekk, or on the building (which makes their placement ambiguous, are they ground floor, up higher, inside, on balconies, or looking through windows?) You mentioned the man at the gate; has he moved from his position on that map?
Litheene |
Weavesight: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (1) + 19 = 20
Litheene is swept in surprise by Ryvin, maintaining an expressionless face in front of the Aes Sedai, but she returns Ryvin a friendly look I know how you feel. You are most welcome.
Hesitating on her way out, Litheene turns to measure the Aes Sedai She ordered us, and she managed to ward the matron, strong as she was, without the matron breaking out. Is she really so powerful? Who is she?
Also adding a knowledge (local?) check about her. Did I ever see or hear about someone meeting the discription in the tower? 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (2) + 15 = 17
RIZZENMAGNUS |
litheene: you vaguely recall a Red sister leaving around the same time as you. She has the look of the Red, but you cannot remember her name.
RIZZENMAGNUS |
The Aes Sedai stares at everyone, and in a tone that is all to familiar to novice, accepted, run aways, kings and queens that do not take heed the advice of an Aes Sedai, she speaks again.
i said SIT!
intimidate check1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29
what a time to roll a 20, huh? LOL
Ryvin Altessar |
Ryvin snarls her rage as she sits beside Litheene. "This better be good, you crazy old bat," she snaps. "If you've gone and lost your mind under the a'dam, I'll leave you here without a qualm. Mark me for true!"
A'Mar of House Issola |
in a bold voice
There are no Forsaken here, such warped and twisted evil I would sense Elder Ogier
A'mar looks sharply toward the direction of his Aes Sedie; then relaxes a bit.
quietly to his comrades
did you hear that? the situation has changed; it may no longer be necessary to hold this place, a withdrawl might be wise, I shall go check [\b]
A'mar sprints to check the situation of Tesliin and the others.
Amorial Suth |
Amorial nods to the Ogier. "Forsaken, this term interests me, I should wish to bring you before the Elders of the Stedding to discuss this matter. There must be some misunderstanding here Brother". Amorial holds onto the axe before him in case the response is aggression.
Vala " the Swan" |
The Borderlander snuck up behind these odd people she had come in contact with. She was frustrated as one of these fools had toyed with her skill and fled. She Watched in awe at this huge creature..and the rugged troupe the creature was headed to.
She readied her self drawing Gander and giving a silent salute as she waited for the tumlut to start and she can strike these other warriors to get to the man who shamed her skill.
RIZZENMAGNUS |
the channelers
Much better. Let's start again. Why are you here?
ill say that this marks the end of the round for those interacting with the annoying aes sedai.
fia, can you tell me where your PC moved to.
the front
Lowering his axe, the ogier gently drops it to the brick paved path. upon impact, a metallic thud is made as the stones underneath the large axe head crack from the weight of the weapon.
There is no misunderstanding, Forsaken. You and your people, millenia ago were charged with protecting the Valdar Cuebiyari Ta'veren, to ensure that the wheel continues to turn. And yet now, when we come back with Valdar Cuebiyari Tai'daishar, we find the twin heart missing. So, for loosing this sacred item, you, and all those upon this land are now Forsaken, and can only be redeemed of honor in death.
a'mar will have left before the ogier speaks.

round 7 recap
as the floor is literally blown out from under them, litheene, fia, tesliin, alathea fall to the ground from Jolair's unexpected attack. As they plunge, grasping at the ledges, arms of airs snap out and lower them to the ground. The freed aes sedai has helped them. But instead of showing gratitude at being freed, the aes sedai demands to know who they are and what they are doing there?
At the front doors, the honor battle is over quickly, both men killed with effortless grace from Ryland and Amorial. As they finish arranging the bodies to have some dignity in the afterlife, the main quarry walks up the path.
A'mar, feeling something through his bond with Tesliin, sprints to the back to help his ward.
Amorial and ryland, left alone, begin to talk with the tall, menacing Ogier. Ryland cannot help but point out the big difference between Amorial and the new Ogiers
"I had always been told that yours was a peaceful people. They. Do not. Look. Peaceful."
update to map shortly
feel free to begin your round 8 actions
Rhoekk of the Tardaad Aiel |
You had mentioned changing the map to reflect guard positions, but I haven't seen anything. I'll post an action assuming that they are all still in the same positions then, the one's on the building being considered to be on the roof.
Rhoekk steps closer to the building, in order to make himself a more difficult target to those on the roof, and give himself access to the secret door should he need to slip inside. As he does, he draws his bow, readying an arrow. [ooc](5ft step towards the building. If the door opens outwards, he'll stand behind it, so anyone coming out will not immediately see him; if it opens outward, he'll stand on the hinge-side of the door, for the same reason.
He draws his bow and looses a shot to silence the slave taker. Attack at the Sul'dam with Deadly Aim: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (6) + 12 = 18;Damage: 1d6 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15
EDIT: I believe this was my round 6 action. I was waiting for the map update you mentioned a while back. Once I see the map, I might amend this action here. I can post a round 7 action right after in order to make sure I get caught up with the time line for the other party members.
Fiallain Bo'airr |
I am not sure where the hole in the wall is located. Fia would have moved as far in that direction as she was able, keeping in mind that she did channel a weave this round. Past exiting the building it is her intention to sprint to the hedge, using it as cover as she moves into a position to support Rhoekk. So...where she is currently depends on how much of her movement was taken up exiting the ruins. At best I would think she is right outside where the hole is?
Ryland of Fal Dara |
Ryland cleans the blood from his sword and sheathes it. "I do not understand. What is this Twin Heart and why did you leave it? Obviousely your kind has changed from the peacful Ogier that I have heard stories of."
RIZZENMAGNUS |
the hole in the wall is at X36.
rhoekk, correct. the guardsmen on the roof are still up there. there is one more in the back, but he will not act until 7th round. Your round 6 action was attacking the suldam/damane pair A. You knocked them out. So right now, your range attack is round 7.
Alathea Sedai |
Alathea keeps her face lowered and her eyes on the floor, as much to hide her flush of embarrassment and her scowl as to show respect to the unknown Aes Sedai. She does not say a word, nor does she acknowledge that she's heard the woman's demands.
Fiallain Bo'airr |
in that case she will have moved to x31. I think that is within her 40ft speed.
doh. Ninja'd by the dm. Perfect placement though. ;)
Ryvin Altessar |
"Me, I am after getting as far away from any sul'dam as possible," Ryvin growls, "unless the opportunity to slice them like pork presents itself."
Rhoekk of the Tardaad Aiel |
That odd statue thing starts right next to where Rhoekk is standing, yes? Is there anything he could step up onto there, like a dais or base for it? Wondering if I could step up in order to be able to see over the hedge at the guard at L8?
Kodokura |
Amorial Suth |
"That is the exact misunderstanding I speak of. I know nothing of what you speak Friend. I would like to bring your grievances before the Council of Elders to discuss this unsettling accusation. If you are correct than it would seem we have much to atone for and atone we will if we must. Are these terms acceptable?" Amorial finishes knowing the answer already he does not lower his weapon from its readied position.
Is this a continuation of the earlier action in the day when Amorial fought in the Inn? I think it is but I can't remember!
Vala " the Swan" |
Okay i see my self now, are the two guards in AU39 and AU41 facing my direction or that of Amorial and the Gardeners? If they are facing away from me I am gonna move closure, if not as soon as the fighting starts behind them i will rush them
Fiallain Bo'airr |
Rnd 7:
Fiallain crouches and pushes her way through the undergrowth, using it to disguise her movements. Nearing the edge of the hedge, she peeks out and spies Rhoeek near directly in front of her then glances up at the guards to see if they've marked her.
Actions:Move to Y26 using stealth: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (3) + 14 = 17
Perception: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (18) + 17 = 35
Kodokura |
Holding the One Power near to breaking point, Kodokura swiftly pokes his head around the corner to look through the back gate. I take it I can hear noise of battle and such? Can I see the Aielman in the back garden, the guard, and the damane and sul'dam?
If the guard is not aware of me, I will continue to observe, unsure of what is going on.
Tesliin Sedai |
Tesliin, are you ok; how can I help!
A'mar rushes in with sword and sheild ready.
Tesliin gives A'mar a stern look as he comes in. "A'mar, please keep watch while we discuss matters."
"We are here seeking a friend who was taken from us."
Fiallain Bo'airr |
Assuming Rhoekk rolls more than a 'one' to notice Fia.. (Guess I should have taken the 10 on that stealth lol...
Rhoekk of the Tardaad Aiel |
Rizzen, did you spot my question up above?
That odd statue thing starts right next to where Rhoekk is standing, yes? Is there anything he could step up onto there, like a dais or base for it? Wondering if I could step up in order to be able to see over the hedge at the guard at L8?
Rhoekk of the Tardaad Aiel |
I completely understand. Busyness is kind of unavoidable sometimes.
Perception: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (13) + 15 = 28
What should I say to her? Wise ones do not dance the spears... even apprentices, I should think. She was a maiden, and a pretty one too... NOT NOW! Thoughts on the enemy!
Rhoekk signals back with his arrow hand, 'Protect me from Lightning. Let me dance against spears, and not fire!'
Rhoekk takes a small step up onto the steps, (5ft step, onto what I'm thinking are circular steps from the shape.) quickly drawing arrows and peppering them into the guard at the back of the yard.
1d20 + 13 ⇒ (3) + 13 = 161d6 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
1d20 + 13 ⇒ (3) + 13 = 161d6 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 91d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
RIZZENMAGNUS |
with the aes sedai
In a peeved toneNow is not the time to mince words with me, sister. As everyone has pointed out, we are in the open, so while i demand you to pause and tell me what your doing here, we are not on a picnic. So all of you, spill everything. Why are you here? what friend are you looking for?
Ryvin Altessar |
"The Pit of Doom with this," Ryvin mutters rebelliously. The aura of saidar around her flares, and flows of Air, Earth, Fire, Spirit and Water swirl around the group like ribbons. "I'm not sitting here like mutton, waiting for slaughter," she growls if anyone so much as looks at her funny. "Anyone wants to try it on again, I'll make them work for it. And then I'll make them bleed for it."
Ryvin weaves a Ward against the One Power around the group as a 4th level weave. With the 25-foot radius, it should be big enough to protect all of us. If it isn't, I'll exclude the Aes Sedai who's making all of us sit like bad children. :p
Ryvin Altessar |
Hey, there are enemies out there who know where we are! >_< Plus, most of us are already holding saidar. I couldn't just sit here and do nothing at all. All my paranoid instincts screamed at me not to.
Edit: Oh, crud. Oh, crud! >_< She didn't tie off the Master Ward, did she?
Ryvin Altessar |
Okay, that makes me feel a little better. :'( What with Inverting being a Lost skill and all. I am still very sorry, everyone.
Fiallain Bo'airr |
something tells me I am going to need that Angreal still in my hand very very shortly... :P. Is there anything surrounding the pair now, or was it just the master ward?
RIZZENMAGNUS |
well, if you insist litheene
upfront
Elders? Who are these elders that you speak of? IF they are from this side of the sea, then they too have fallen, and will only be brought back to honor with my axe. But, i must wait. One another has claim upon you first The tall ogier steps aside, allowing another to step forward.
I request we continue our fight, until one side is victorious The small Ogier says, bowing formally.
amorial, you recognize him from your fight earlier
the room
As the ward surrounds the group, the Aes sedai, for the first time, has a look of utter shock upon her face. It is a strange emotion to see from an aes sedai.
YOU INEPT FOOL! Do you have ANY idea what you've done! You just gave that wilder free reign. Pausing, she looks towards where the matron and handler would be standing.
fia
As you stand at the edge of the thick brush, your eyes are drawn towards the matron and her handler. You are shocked to your bones as you realize that the red dome surrounding the pair is gone. You have to look away and bite your lip as now you feel both the matron, and her handler hold the power, the matron glowing from having so much access to the Source.
rhoekk
A flicker at the corner of your eye draws your attention to the red dome, or as you look, you see that the red dome is no longer there. instead you see a very angry pair of women.
