No but I appreciate the offer Rizzen! There are people in the area who lost everything we were lucky to just lose power and have food spoil. I am very surprised at how destructive the storm was. It is a good thing Sandy was not a storm with the same strength as Katrina or else I am not sure much of NYC would still be here. A number of the shore points in NJ have been completely buried in sand and water and the storm was only a Category 1 Hurricane. Crazy stuff.
Jonasty - thanks a lot for your time, I was among those who enjoyed your service as a DM, and was looking forward to playing with you. You have real WoT passion, and I hope we will have the chance to play again.
Amorail and Valegrim - I'm glad to hear you guys recovered. I was really worried after this storm hit. I have a lot of family in NYC, luckily they are also alright, no heavy damage or injuries. I hope everyone is healthy among your families.
got my roof replaced in one day; team of seven and they really hustled out there; looks great. Finished right before it started raining too and rained most of Friday so seems like they did a good job, no leaks spotted
Ive noticed that combat seems to be slowing to a crawl, as people either are slow in response times or external forces prevent posting.
In an effort to make the combat more fast paced, to get everyone involved, and to progress story line, I am posting a time limit to the rounds. 1 round will last 2 days. If you havent posted, i will either A) make a posting for you or B) your PC does nothing.
I dont do this to be mean, or to single anyone out, but i do this to pick up the pace. I know i have slouched in my postings, so i am part of the slowness, but i will be picking up the pace.

*grinds teeth* I am experiencing DNS-lookup problems and have to post from my sister's. Will be able to post more extensively tomorrow. Apologies for the delay...
Thanks :) luckily I'm alright. We got a good defense system this round, and it shots down most of the incomings. But my parents got pretty scared, and needed support. They live closer to Gaza and got dozens of sirens per day for the last few days.
Hopefully it'll calm down soon, as none here really wants another war, and I think they pretty much exhausted thier ability of long range fire. But, who knows? These things are pretty chaotic around here.

"Ask the common people, and now that they know war isn't just waged on the battlefield anymore but can and will be taken to their homes, few if any will say they want a war.
Ask the soldiers, and now that they understand war is no longer a chance to earn honour and glory, but is rather a way to find an ugly death and be mistrusted by their neighbours when they come home, few if any will say they want a war.
So who does want a war? Whoever it is, we have to assume they don't live around here, or at least they're never going to be on the battlefield."
I think there is a cease fire in place now Litheene, glad you are safe.
Welcome Kodokura!
I am in Little Falls NJ but I work in the Empire State Building so most of ky posting comes from Manhattan. In North Carolina on vacation rest of the week.
since the aes sedai is demanding obedience, it is a check, the DC is equal to 10+HD+wisdom modifier. an example for ryvin would be:
her wisdom modifier is +4, so the DC the AS would have to surpass would be 10+8(HD)+4(wis mod)=22.
Since the AS has a score of 29, anyone below this will be sufficiently intimidated by her for the next 1d6x10 minutes.
