Enjoying his successful framing of Chum, he'll forget about trying to sneak away his drink and will just drink it.

AC 12; HP 17/17; F+2, R+2, W+3 Init.+2, Perc+0

DM, you still around?

Yes, my apologies everyone. Work has been a bit mad lately and will be through mid-July. I will get a post up this weekend and will try to be more communicative, but things will probably be slow for the next few weeks.

Bump resurrection

***INACTIVE*** Male Human Ranger/1 (skirmisher archetype)

Letting the boards know I'm still paying attention to this campaign....

All right. So picking things back up with the rum and night actions.

Rum Rations
Raveneau manages to toss off his rum ration with a foul look from Jape who rises to the elf's challenge and downs his with a silent glare in response. He doesn't take the bait of the second mug offered by Uriah. Uriah, still need to decide what to do with yours.

Atajay attempts to dump his rum overboard, only to turn around and see Scourge staring right at him. "I can't imagine you'd dump that on purpose Eggshell? Get yerself another ration now or we'll have a second Bloody Hour tonight."

Ursion and Gimlet are both pretty sure that with Raveneau's showdown with Jape and the commotion over Atajay getting spotted that they have successfully dumped their rum while Chak'Zirrak downs his.

Night Actions
Raveneau manages to slip into the galley, but before he can get a good look around, a drunken Grok stumbles in. "Hey, whatcha doin'?"

At night, Atajay is able to track down Kroop, but doesn't feel he made any more progress with the cook than he has previously.

Gimlet is pretty sure he hasn't been spotted by anyone as he manages to signal Rosie and slip off. She whispers, "Sure, what's up Gimlet?"

Need a night action for Ursion, Uriah, and Chak'Zirrak if any.

With Jape:

The sneer of the elf towards Jape is full of a hopeful loathing towards the other - as though begging the half-orc to just try something on him... and Raveneau would be ready for him. If Jape backs down Raveneau lets him leave with a chuckle echoing his passage.

GM - the campaign hasn't popped back up into my tracker strangely... not sure if it's listed as inactive.

Galley sneak:

Raveneau grimaces as he is discovered by Kroop in the Kitchen but just replies "Hungry... got any bread?" taking his leave either with or without the requested food.

***INACTIVE*** Male Human Ranger/1 (skirmisher archetype)

GM Lane:
He isn't much of a storyteller or particularly silver-tongued, but Ursion will try to strike up a conversation with Shivikah...or at least show an interest in listening. "I'm from Sargava. Never got too far from the coast, though. How about you?"

Untrained Diplomacy check: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10

Could be worse.

Human Druid (Aquatic) 1

In the excitement over the drinking contest Uriah will walk away from his glass, hoping nobody noticed he didn't drink it.

Bluff: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (11) - 1 = 10

AC 12; HP 17/17; F+2, R+2, W+3 Init.+2, Perc+0

Stupid Scourge... the sorcerer thinks, among other angrier thoughts as he refills his rum ration and nurses it as much as possible.

Chak'Zirrak will happily drink his ration feeling quite pleased on framing Chum that day.

After a bit, Chak'Zirrak will trill a little song to pass the time, lighten the mood a bit, and maybe influence one of the crew on his side and the side of the new crew.

1d20 + 11 ⇒ (13) + 11 = 24 *Adjust for whatever the rum will do to him*

Mermaid Song:

When I was a lad in a fishing town
My old man said to me:
"You can spend your life, your jolly life
Sailing on the sea.
You can search the world for pretty girls
Til your eyes grow weak and dim,
But don't go fishing for a mermaid, son
If you don't know how to swim"

'Cause her hair was green as seaweed
Her skin was blue and pale
I loved that girl with all my heart
I only liked the upper part
I did not like the tail

So I signed aboard of a whaling ship
And my first very day at sea
There I spied in the waves,
Reaching out for me
"Come live with me in the sea said she,
Down on the ocean floor
And I'll show you many's a wonderous thing
That you've never seen before

So over I jumped and she pulled me down,
Down to her seaweed bed
A pillow made of tortoise-shell
She placed beneath my head
She fed me shrimp and caviar
Upon a silver dish
From her head to her waist was just to my taste
But the rest of her was a fish

'Cause her hair was green as seaweed
Her skin was blue and pale
I loved that girl with all my heart
I only liked the upper part
I did not like the tail

Then one day, she swam away
So I sang to the clams and the whales
"Oh, how I miss her seagreen hair
And the silvery shine of her scales
Then her sister, she swam by
And set my heart awhirl
From her head to her waste was an ugly fish
But the rest of her was a girl

'Cause her hair was green as seaweed
Her skin was blue and pale
I loved that girl with all my heart
I did not like the upper part
And that's how I got this tale

Male Halfling Rogue (Pirate, Scout) 1

Gimlet will start off with asking for fiddle lessons, although he flatters her by stating he clearly knows he can never learn to be as good as her. He hopes to just get to know her better and cement their budding friendship.
