WOOD DRAKE SIGHTED!
Rumors of a dragon haunting the southern Narlmarches are probably (hopefully) overstated. The evidence indicates that the source of the rumors is merely a forest drake. In any event, it’s killing folks and needs to be put down. One lone eye witness who lived long enough to return with the tale described it as a lumbering beast with wood and leaves for hide. A reward has been offered by House Kalnath.

IN SEARCH OF TROLL BLOOD!
Upon belief and intent, Myrania the Alchemist seeks Troll's Blood for testing as a catalyst in creation of healing potions. A reward, in potions of the choice of the bringer of this rare substance, will be given by Myrania within 30 days of delivery of the blood. At least one wineskin full of troll's blood required for reward.

ANIMAL ATTACKS! HOWLS OF MADNESS?
Rumor of a wolf like creature have long been heard of in the Kamelands. Stories vary as to whether it is a worg, a dire wolf, or something worse. Bandits and hunters have, for years, told of it's madness inducing howls and blood lust. With the increase of citizens into the Greenbelt, it is necessary to root out this beast to make the citizens safe. A reward for the creature's head is offered by House Malvanna.

SHAMBLING SAP NEEDED!
Myrania the Alchemist requires one small cask of shambling mound sap. This will require a fully grown shambling mound to supply. While the shambling mounds are common in Hecktongue Slough, they are rarer in the Greenbelt. A reward of gold and curative potions is offered for the first group to return with a cask of sap.

Got a message from leinathan. He's suffering from a degree of writer's/RPer's block right now. We should go ahead without him and assume he won't be back for the time being. If he rejoins, it sounds like it will be farther into the future (if any recruits drop or whatever). I'd say we group up all 6 of us and go exploring. I'll come up with a new route given this info. The map will have the changes.

@Katlin - Greetings fellow prepared caster!

To further the glory of us prepared casters, we have a small library of spells collected at a central spot in our glorious Capital! Click here and flip trough the tabs until you get to the 'X Circle' ones. There you will find a complete (it think) list of spells stored in our central library, as well as the ones known by the other prepared casters (me!) in our team.

The ones denoted by "B" and "D" where the ones in Bej's and Dareon's spellbooks. The ones denoted by "F" are the ones I (Fhârn) have in my book. The ones with the "C" are in the Common books - aka the library itself.

It is probably not of much use at the moment - but hopefully in the future. Cheers!

By default, all games set in Golarion start on 22 Calistril, 4715.

That should make it 4717, as we are in the second year of the kingdom.

Although, per the books, RotR starts in 4707.

A quick question about your build, Katlin, as I was looking at it. You seem to be taking quicken spell as a feat (your wizard bonus), despite the fact you can't cast quickened spells until 7th level (and only cantrips then). 9th level will be the first time you can quicken non-cantrip spells. Was there a reason for taking it that I'm missing?

Just curious. :)

Gorruum? I assume Ubagub casts Jump prior to attempting to jump the wall? The DC to jump an 8 foot wall is 32 with a running start. So without casting the spell, he'd need at 12+ on his acrobatics check to jump the wall. With the spell he'd need a 2+ on his check.

So, the choice is, move 15 ft, cast jump, wait until next round, move and jump over the wall with an acrobatics check needing 2 or better.

Or, move 15 ft back, and then jump the wall this round, requiring a 12+ on the acrobatics check.

Needless to say, the 64 DC without the running start is a non starter. :)

I had the wall at 6 feet (DC 24 with running start) from your initial PM. That's why I went with the flavor of having Gorruum step in a squishy spot when he jumped it to explain why he tripped and took the non-lethal damage. No worries if it is 8 feet. Just delay him by a round and we'll have him use jump. Hopefully we won't be in a combat situation anyway :)

It is a shame it specifies 'melee attacks', else I'd take up your offer in about 7 levels when I (can) get Disintegrate ^^

Are you all going to go on to the Dryad's together, or split up? Realistically, I think travelling as a group to the Dryad's, getting to know each other a bit, and then splitting into two groups makes more sense.

Also, you should probably start discussing the groups now.

You should have at least one healer in each party, and at least one melee person. One arcane caster per group as well.

But those are only suggestions.

I concur. When we do split up, I was thinking about some sort of grouping like:

Group 1:

  • Wilhelm (Fighter/diplomat/healing)
  • Anastacia (Divine/Backup melee/Aid Diplomacy)
  • Fhârn (Arcane/Backup Melee/Knowledges)
  • Gorruum (Melee Fighter/Skills/Tracking)
  • Ikit (Ranged/Support healing/buffing/Skills)

Group 2:

  • Dante (Melee fighter/Intimidator)
  • Felicia (Divine/Spell support/Diplomacy)
  • Natalie (Skills/2ndary melee/scout)
  • Katlin (Arcane/Control/Knowledges)
  • Rowan (Divine/Backup melee/Companion)

Each group has a front line fighter, arcane support and divine support. Each group should have a good mix of skills and a few diplomats. It also spreads the new folk out evenly.
