Hello again!
I’ve updated my profile to include Gilandiril’s backstory and a brief description of his appearance. I'd still like to add a more detailed look at his personality, but I’m feeling pretty good about what I’ve got so far. I’m not an expert on the Realms by any means, but I did some research to try to incorporate some historical events (like the recent burning of the Floshin Estates) into Gilandiril’s life. Of course, I’m willing to rework anything in his background or add other elements that better fit the campaign.
I’d also noticed the lack of a dedicated healer... I briefly considered recasting Gilandiril as a cleric of Sehanine, but DaWay’s reassurances about alternate sources of healing convinced me to stick with my original concept.
We sure have a whole lot of of elves up in here... Not that there’s anything wrong with that! Maybe we’ve crossed paths before during our long lives? For that matter, any of us could have known each other previously, if that would make it easier to form a party. Something to think about...

Imo 5E is very forgiving for not having a dedicated healer....on the other hand it also seems a bit more punishing to lower level players in general.
LOL Yeah, it's very possible that someone might die early on. If that happens to me, I'd be happy to roll up a cleric. They're a lot of fun to play.
Clerics and rogues are my top 2 favorite classes.
I noticed that Darius and Zat are very very close in terms of Proficient Skills. What archetype did you plan on? Zat is going to go Arcane Trickster.
Darius is going to be a thief. Although he'll refer to himself as an adventurer or an explorer. I want the mobility you get from the archetype. Aside from the free cantrip, I won't be busting out any spells.
If you're ok with me being a little light on background, my Dwarven Cleric of Moradin (Tempest Domain) is a friend of Ontharr Frume. He's a member of a Brewer's Guild and mason for fun. I've got stats and I'm still working on a name. I'll be ready for first roll.

Opening recruitment again, character creation rules are at the beginning except you will come in as a third level character. Looking for 1-2 players and I am leaving it to the group to decide who comes in.

She's all finished up. If my backstory is too short or there is something missing, (either in the fluff or the crunch) feel free to let me know and I'll fix it.
She's not a bard, but she is an arcane caster who can fill the role of the party face.

One question: Your Pact Blade is a Martial Melee Weapon, but I think that Warlocks are only proficient with Simple Weapons. Can you use a weapon for your Pact Blade that you are not proficient with?
Looking forward to seeing another PC that sticks out like a sore thumb, says the Half-Orc.

It says that the warlock is proficient with their pact blade while they wield it. So yes as long as I'm holding this specific weapon I'm proficient with it.
Cool...I do not run many arcane PC's...just wondering.

Ok Zethaya, you're in, head over to Gameplay they are just leaving to explore the caves at the bandit camp. You can have been a townsperson, a rescued prisoner, a defect from the cult, or anything better you can thing of.
I will review your backstory after I update my four games.

I definitely have the character concept ready but I need a little feedback on some mechanical stuff (especially since I'm starting at level 3). And I should probably make sure the concept is ok.
Concept - 1/2 Elf Cleric/Bard/Cleric of Lathander (levels gained in that order). Life Domain. Support/Healer/Talker.
Taking Artisan background (Painter).
What attribute would painting use? I can't find it listed under any attribute.
Would the Bonds and features (especially the Cult of the Dragon infiltrator feature) still work or has the time for that come and gone?
How exactly do I figure out what equipment I start with? Just take the average cash and buy stuff? I want, for example, some heavy armour if I can afford it (the Life Domain makes me proficient) but I can't get it from the starting packages. Does the fact that I started at 5th level actually give me more?
I'll firm this up sometime tomorrow but my profile should have almost everything necessary in it at this point.
Creating a character by hand took far longer than I expected (I've been spoiled by Hero Lab). :-(.
I should manage a "Hi there" post tomorrow.
Actually, you can get heavy armor from the starting packages:
• (a) scale mail, (b) leather armor, or (c) chain mail (if proficient)
Chainmail is heavy armor and gives you an AC of 16. You'll need at least a 13 STR to wear it, though.
And Life is a pretty solid domain.
Also at a Disadvantage on stealth checks.

No such thing anymore I thought? I haven't seen stats for Eladrin at all in 5E
High Elf Subrace in PHB is pretty close to Eladrin.
