now i can make 4 level 1 extracts. using my own magical power i can make 1 or two (4/3 = 1.33. Do i need to be able to make 6 level 1 extract to have 2 or when i can make 5 i can make 2 on my own magical power?)

You are now able to create 4 per day Grim.

Basically you can generate your hit dice in 'personal power' per day.

Level 1 Extract/Spell : 1 point
Level 2 Extract/Spell : 3 points
Racial SLA : 1 point
Supernatural Class Feature : 1-3 points, depending on how powerful it is.


do i get to choose how the Hid Dice worth of personal power per day are spent acoss the maximim extract (level i can use)?

For example at level 5 Alchemist i will be able to use normally:

L1: 4+1(Init bonus)
L2: 2+1 (Int bonus)

Since i would be a 6HD creature would that mean that i could do this:

(using internal magic power)

L1: 0
L2: 2

or

L1: 3
L2: 1

Racial supernatural cost 1.

Cantrips are slightly different. 1 point will power all cantrips all day. Alternately, as long as you have at least one unspent point allocated to a 1st or higher level spell, cantrips work. So, you can either spend one point to power cantrips all day, or allocate one or more to a spell, and as long as you haven't cast all your powered spells, you can cast cantrips.

Nope, your curse and change shape are linked, due to your nature. So if you power the change shape, you create weres. If you don't change shape, you don't create weres.

You're already getting a skate on the full moon thing. :) What with there not being a full moon for more than a few minutes at night.

Does powering a Su last all day or till out of charges (if it works on charges), or just for one use?

You said Class Su abilities have different costs based on power. What's the cost of powering Channel, Night Domain ability, and Repose Domain ability?

Didn't want to try to prepare something I couldn't afford because I assumed :)

Powers it for all day, or until all uses are used up if it's a per day usage thing. So for example, if you have 'spell like abilities, at will detect evil, 1/day cure light, 1/day cure moderate', and you power it with 1 pt, you get 1/day cure light, 1/day cure moderate, and at will detect evil, until the next day.

Channel is a su class ability, powering it for the day takes 1 pt. Domain abilities take 1 pt.

Note you can use acrette to power anything at any time. Your resident native would even be able to tell you you can use it to 'reset' a per day ability. So, for example, if you had the 1/day cure light and 1/day cure moderate above, you could reset it again by spending acrette.

As a GM, since this is the first major combat in this game where you don't necessarily have a chance of winning, I will remind the players that the GM is not the type who ensures characters can always win. Some combats are not designed to be won, but to be avoided. Not saying this combat can't be won, but not saying it can either.

Do I still have the usual number of spell slots for my level, they are just uncharged unless I spend a point on them?

Do we have to use all our personal power points when we prepare things? Or can we save some to power something on the fly later?

Spell slots are still there, just not enough ambient magic to power them.

You can save them to power something on the fly. They stay until you use them, and refill up the next day.

I've been, and still am, sick with something this week (possibly a cold). The doctor didn't say what it was when I went to see them when this just kept getting worse.

I get to the airport at 4:30 Wednesday for my 6:30 flight.

United tries to get by cheap and puts just enough gas in the jet to make it to destination. They screw up, have to turn around once they make it to the strip, and then take 2.5 hours to fuel up again and take off.

The plane lands at 8:30 (this is the plane coming to where I am). They swear they will have us out of there in 10 minutes.

At 9:15 we take off. We land at 10:45. My connecting flight is at 10:55, and is in another terminal. I run to the train that connects terminals. I get to the gate at 10:58. They didn't hold my plane, it's against policy.

It takes me 45 minutes of arguing with them but they won't give me a hotel, because it was the weather, not them putting too little fuel or refusing ot hold my flight for 3 minutes. BS.

I get to the hotel about 1:30 (actually in the hotel room that is). I'm so afraid I'll sleep through the alarm at this point, that I can't sleep. So I spend 4 hours resting on the bed watching tv before going back to the airport for a 7:25 flight.

The 7:25 flight leaves the gate at 7:45. We take off at 8:30. I get to my airport at 9:20. It then takes me another hour to get my luggage (they got it on the plane that took off without me the night before!), and finally get my car and head off home. I run into traffic, and it's 11:30 by the time I actually get into my house.

I then promptly fall asleep in front of the computer trying to work after having had no sleep for 36 hours.

So yeah, sorry for not posting yesterday. I'll get posts up today sometime.
