As for myself I got waylaid with an infection that needs a root canal and my grad thesis is due on Wed. Add 4th of July weekend and my posting may be spotty for the next week or so, FYI
We'll just pause until after the 4th, that'll give everyone a chance to finish up thesis projects, get some rest, and also have some time without concerns over the weekend.
While we are paused, anyone who wants to talk to or trade with the natives can do so if they are around. We'll pick up with exploration after the 4th, unless people decide to pledge to the frog folks hectate, in which case we can move to integrating into the frog men society.
I'm in favor of exploring more! Settling with frogfolk seems like a poor life decision. =P
LOL, didn't say you had to stay with them forever. :) Just giving it as an option if you want to explore some settled areas for a bit.

I'm back. Work has been getting worse, with tons of people quitting, so I've just been getting sicker and sicker with trying to get it all back under control. Also just had my great grandmother die, so...yeah. I'm working on getting caught back up.

I'll be travelling this week, Monday through Wednesday, and I likely won't be able to post as much as I usually do. I should be back to normal posting by the end of the week.
I am going on holiday on 19th July to 29th July. If necessary, feel free to DMPC Palakka (try not to get him killed, I rather like him, lol). It's unlikely that I will be able to get online while I away.
Foo, as a blink dog we miss all the classic things you can do with a sock puppet. "Whats that Palakka? You want me to take all your stuff?" etc.
I guess we will have to just settle on having him be predator bait but he was doing *that* anyway, so really it is no fun.

I get to the airport at 4:30 Wednesday for my 6:30 flight.
United tries to get by cheap and puts just enough gas in the jet to make it to destination. They screw up, have to turn around once they make it to the strip, and then take 2.5 hours to fuel up again and take off.
The plane lands at 8:30 (this is the plane coming to where I am). They swear they will have us out of there in 10 minutes.
At 9:15 we take off. We land at 10:45. My connecting flight is at 10:55, and is in another terminal. I run to the train that connects terminals. I get to the gate at 10:58. They didn't hold my plane, it's against policy.
It takes me 45 minutes of arguing with them but they won't give me a hotel, because it was the weather, not them putting too little fuel or refusing ot hold my flight for 3 minutes. BS.
I get to the hotel about 1:30 (actually in the hotel room that is). I'm so afraid I'll sleep through the alarm at this point, that I can't sleep. So I spend 4 hours resting on the bed watching tv before going back to the airport for a 7:25 flight.
The 7:25 flight leaves the gate at 7:45. We take off at 8:30. I get to my airport at 9:20. It then takes me another hour to get my luggage (they got it on the plane that took off without me the night before!), and finally get my car and head off home. I run into traffic, and it's 11:30 by the time I actually get into my house.
I then promptly fall asleep in front of the computer trying to work after having had no sleep for 36 hours.
So yeah, sorry for not posting yesterday. I'll get posts up today sometime.
Normally, I love travelling, but it's experiences like this that can really ruin it for quite a while. Sorry you had to go through all that misery, mdt!

Yeah I pretty much do everything in my power to avoid the major carriers like Delta and United if I can help it, I have had similar issues. I am lucky where I am because Alaska gets me most everywhere I need in the Western U.S. and I got lucky the last time I was on Delta when I went to Chicago.
Anyway!
No worries mdt, I'm glad you got home. Rest up and we will be here when you are ready.

As you all know, I've been rather busy and traveling a lot lately. This is going to continue for awhile. Hopefully I'll be able to keep up the posts. It's now confirmed I'll be going on an overseas job for 6 weeks at the end of August, coming back early October. I will hopefully be able to continue posting, but wanted to give advance warning.
I'll be 11 or 12 hours off my normal schedule, as I'm going literally to the other side of the planet. :) First trip to this area, so I'm not sure what the internet will be like, or even if I can get to Paizo. So if, after I leave, I vanish for a month, please don't give up on me, it just means I couldn't connect due to country filters or something.

Hey guys, I'll be away on an annual camping trip this weekend. I'll be leaving mid afternoon on Thursday and won't be back until Sunday night, though it's looking more and more likely that I'll stay an extra day.
Anyway, there's no cell reception or internet or anything at the mountain top cabin we'll be staying at, so I'll be offline for the duration of the trip. Hopefully when I get back I'll find a dead tree and an alive Abbas! =P

Sorry about this week, between illness, wife's ongoing recovery requirements, and work hitting me between the eyes with a mallet, this week is very busy and tiring. It'll probably be Saturday afternoon before I get any major updates out in any games.
I've been grabbing low-hanging fruit where I can (quick posts and updates). And I've been spotty about double checking each thread to make sure it's moving along. My apologies on that. I'll go through each one with a fine tooth comb Saturday.

Ok, so, we're down two people.
I'm considering consolidating everyone into one game. That would result in 7 players in one game. I think that's sustainable, and it would give the games some umph and make it easier for me to coordinate them. What do you all think?
I think that makes sense at this point. One thread to track, one group of folks. Less work for you! I'm all for it. Plus I can shock the remaining original members with my complete lack of knowing who they are or being pseudoundead...Of course this assumes we live through our current fight...
I think we have 3 people. Lilandra is only away for the weekend and Abbas and Palakka are still about.
So that would make 8 players in one game, but I'm easy to play it any way you like to. If we survive the "tree"

Surviving the tree isn't that hard at this point. Moving back and using ranged attacks will kill it with relative safety. Abbas is stable, so...
