I've sent mdt a PM to this effect as well, but I'm going to be bowing out of this campaign. I've enjoyed playing with you all, but I've just found it difficult to get into this campaign style, and I want to yield my playing opportunity to someone who would appreciate it more. I'm going to figure out what the best way to extricate Tolla would be with mdt.

Checking in; leveling up Palo will take me just a tad bit longer than normal since I'm using an adjusted version of the summoner class but I should be able to have everything sorted within the next day or so :)

Note, now that you have a local guide, you can begin learning the local dialect of Common. You don't have to put a point in linguistics for it, it's just learning the local dialect. It'll take about 3 months game time for everyone to pick up the local common.

If you remember, for HP per level, it's whatever you picked at character creation, average +1 or roll. So I suggest checking the original recruitment thread to see what you originally used. :)

Hey all, not dead but I did have RL stuff come up unexpectedly over the past couple of days so I apologize for my absence. Feel free to not me if combat/story needs to be moved along, otherwise I'll work on getting caught up later tonight!
Yeah we are the nice social ones! We also got beat up a lot but it sounds like not as much as them...I love that everyone was like "uhhh yeah, I'll just stay with *my* group, thanks."

Well, a large part of being beaten up badly for them was loading crates on a ship while people threw Acrette charged alchemical items through a wall to explode on them (and taking on said people at 2 to 1 odds).
In my profile is a spoiler (at the bottom) called "The Pile". This represents everything we were dragging around but I think this time we should just leave it and come back if we are desperate. I currently am carrying the 78 rations we have remaining not including anything Paloma or the newcomers might have had.
There are some weapons and exploring gear. If there is anything you think your character would take, let me know and I will drop it from the pile.
If I can get most of the rations off of me I will be back at a light load which might be nice, but I don;t want to force it because I can drop the bag if I need to.

You might be better off sending Palakka out alone. Relas is at 1/2 or 1/4 HP doing scouting. On top of the 1/2 hp for not being fully powered up every day. Then Palakka could teleport back if something attacks.

Yes,
You get 1 magic 'point' per Hit Die per day.
1 magic point will do the following :
1) Power 1 level 1 spell
2) Power any/all racial spell like abilities
3) Power 1 Supernatural ability from class (such as a hex)
4) Power all cantrips all day
3 magic points will power a 2nd level spell.
5 magic points will power a 3rd level spell.
etc
Accrette (condensed magic) can be found in animals. One Unit of Accrette equals 1 magic point. Accrette, in it's natural form, evaporates at the point of 1 magic point per week. Accrette is (so far as the pc's know), gathered from animals and creatures, and seems to have something to do with what type of terrain you are in. For example, Yellow accrette seems to be found in Plains areas, and is heavily linked to Illusion and light magic.
So yeah...I'm back. Was at the verge of a breakdown, due to bordering on job loss, family's health is failing, my own health is all over the place, and hours at work are getting ridiculously long for the minimal pay.
