Sorry, only a couple of spells to pick at this level anyway I think, oh and feats/attribute boosts.

I'll take the standard 5(4+1) hp as I don't trust my rolling.
Just a couple of spells and a bump to pick I think at this level.

Aaand, should be done.

I'm traveling this week. Feel free to bot me.

GM Notes:

Most mundane gear, including basic healing potions, is freely available for purchase in town. However, some of the nicer types of armor, as well as silvered weapons and some of the more specialized toolsets, are not generally held in stock in town. Merchant wagons come to town every so often and might have rarer goods available. Alternatively, you could try having something made for you, but special orders might come with the potential for an additional fee.

GM Notes:

Unfortunately, I don't have all the downtime mechanics committed to memory, so we'll resolve Corson's project and Cedany's flower-selling and so forth later when I get a chance to read up a bit. In the meantime, we'll jump forward to Logging Day.

AC 19 (chain and shield, rop) | 22/22 hp | S +5 / D +0 / C +5 / I +0 / W +2 / Ch +2 | Pass PER 11 | Pass Ins 13 Athletics +4 | Superiority Dice used: 0/4 | Second Wind [ ] | Action Surge [ ] | Brave, Protective, Humble (2,111 xp)

Not a problem, for crafting it is 5 gp of progress per day, I believe. I am just banking it, essentially.

GM Notes:

Okay, so downtime stuff from the two full days you were waiting:

Corson, make a Persuasion check. With less than a 10, you can rent the use of the smith's facilities for 1gp per day. With a 10 or higher, he'll do you a favor and let you use the facilities for free (but of course you're still paying for materials as normal). With a 15 or higher, he'll help you out both days, for a fee of 1gp per day (if you want).

Cedany, since you were selling flowers, that's basically practicing a profession, so you get a modest lifestyle for free.

Everybody but Cedany (unless I missed someone else who was practicing a profession?) needs to declare what lifestyle they were living and pay appropriately.

Were there any other downtime activities that needed resolving?

AC 19 (chain and shield, rop) | 22/22 hp | S +5 / D +0 / C +5 / I +0 / W +2 / Ch +2 | Pass PER 11 | Pass Ins 13 Athletics +4 | Superiority Dice used: 0/4 | Second Wind [ ] | Action Surge [ ] | Brave, Protective, Humble (2,111 xp)

Charisma: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18

Woot! Corson will help out the smith as well, chopping wood for the forge or pumping the bellows for him.

Crax offered aid, does he have proficiency in smith's tools? If so, he can help too to increase the progress.

EDIT: Per the crafting rules, it says I can maintain a modest lifestyle without paying. Do I still need to pay? Generally, Corson lives a spartan (poor) lifestyle. A lifestyle reminiscent of a squire, almost ascetic.

EDIT^2: Corson will contribute 200 gp toward the armor project.

Honest, Hard-working, Lonely Red Dragonborn Sorcerer 3 | HP: 30/30 AC: 14 | Fire Resistance: S+1, D+1, C+6,I+0,W+0,C+5 | Athletics +1 Acro +1 Inspiration [Y] Fire Breath [Y] DC14 | Sorcery Points [3/3] First Level Spells [3/3] Spell DC13 Second Level Spells [2/2] DC 14 1611 xp

Crax is proficient in Glassblowing tools. I figured being able to breath fire it'd be fun to make small glass ornaments. I haven't really figured out how to flesh that part of his character out though.

AC 19 (chain and shield, rop) | 22/22 hp | S +5 / D +0 / C +5 / I +0 / W +2 / Ch +2 | Pass PER 11 | Pass Ins 13 Athletics +4 | Superiority Dice used: 0/4 | Second Wind [ ] | Action Surge [ ] | Brave, Protective, Humble (2,111 xp)

Nice! Maybe DM Jiggy will allow some mechanical effect, but I am fine with just having that as flavor! That is cool!

Compassionate, Passionate, and Curious Hp 28/28 | AC 16 | S +0/D+2/ C+1//I+2/W+6/C+2 | Per +6 | Insight +4| Acro +2 Spells DC 14 save, [4/4 L1, 3/3 L2]

Just looking at those lifestyle choices. I'm going to try and not be negative and not say what I REALLY think of them and just describe my position and you can tell me what lifestyle you think I have (I'd definitely put it at modest but YMMV).

He is basically a moderately well off rural peasant. Obviously he has his own hut at the outskirts of town. He has a couple of sets of reasonably good clothing, a few animals (chickens, maybe a pig). A herb and vegetable garden. He definitely associates more with the peasantry than the middle class.

He supports his lifestyle primarily by his healing, of course.

Your asking this question made me realize that I was slightly wrong in describing my activities. While he was doing what I said above he was ALSO doing his chores and acting as a healer when required.

Note - I'm quite happy with spending the gold (he certainly was probably somewhat shirking those duties) but he definitely would NOT be turning people who needed help away just so he could "play".

GM Notes:

It sounds like you're saying you were effectively "practicing a profession" on a part-time basis, so to speak. If we want to call it that, then we could say it covered half the cost of a modest lifestyle, and you can expend gold to cover the rest. How's that sound?

Compassionate, Passionate, and Curious Hp 28/28 | AC 16 | S +0/D+2/ C+1//I+2/W+6/C+2 | Per +6 | Insight +4| Acro +2 Spells DC 14 save, [4/4 L1, 3/3 L2]

Sounds good to me. Thanks

GM Notes:

I probably won't get to post again for about a week. Happy holidays, everyone!

Righto. See everybody next week or next year. Happy holidays

Aye! Happy Holidays!

GM Notes:

With the well-handled drake encounter, everybody can have Inspiration.

easiest inspiration I've ever earned lol :P

GM Notes:

I've got some bad news. For the past few months, my real-life circumstances have been shifting in such a way as to make it harder and harder to keep up with my PbP games. I kept thinking things would settle and I'd get back to the level of availability I had a year ago (or even six months ago), but it's become clear that my lack of regular availability is the new normal. It seems I can't even rely on my own lunch break as a chance to get my games updated (I'm actually pushing some things aside just to be able to tell you this).

Unfortunately, this means I'm taking a hiatus from all PbP gaming for the foreseeable future. I don't know if I'll get to try it again at all, let alone when that might be. Thanks for the game; it was fun. :)

Sorry to see you go, Jiggy.

Is this dead, now, or is someone contemplating taking over as GM?

AC 19 (chain and shield, rop) | 22/22 hp | S +5 / D +0 / C +5 / I +0 / W +2 / Ch +2 | Pass PER 11 | Pass Ins 13 Athletics +4 | Superiority Dice used: 0/4 | Second Wind [ ] | Action Surge [ ] | Brave, Protective, Humble (2,111 xp)

I, too am sorry to see you go, buddy! If you ever want to start this up again, I would love to play again, but life's gotta come first. Best wishes for you, man.

Being that this is a homebrew, are we just going to call it?

Thats a bummer but I completely understand where you are coming from Jiggy.

Good luck and I hope life eventually does settle down again for you to able to get back into pbp!

I think so Narnel, :(

I cannot take this one over, and really, I don't know if I would want to continue without Jiggy running it. It is his baby. I hold out hope that he might want to revisit this, when life stops gut-punching him. :)

K...IM me to round up the troops if it returns. I am going to hide it so it does not show in my campaign tab.

Thanks for running Jiggy. It was fun while it lasted :-).

Truth be told, I should be cutting down on my PBP too :-)

AC 12 (15 Mage Armor) | HP 16/17 | SAVES: ST+2;DX+2;CN+1;IN+5;WS+3;CH+2 | PER+1; ATH+4 | Free, secretive, helpful | 4/4x1st / 3/3x2nd (DC:13; Attack: +5)

I've been having some personal issues of my own, so I can't say I'm sorry to cut some games down.

That said, it's been fun and interesting. If it does get brought back and/or rebooted down the line let me know.

Thanks for the game.
