You each receive word that you are to head to Drandle Dreng's office in the Grand Lodge of Absalom immediately. Of course, it's about 5 AM when you receive this missive.
When you arrive, you see Drandle Dreng is currently taking a nap, but you also see that other Pathfinders are trickling into the office about the same time as you are. The chatter amongst yourselves doesn't wake Drandle Dreng.
Once you have decided on characters, feel free to introduce yourselves (or dot in)! I will post the box text once everyone has "trickled in."

A flashily dressed tengu makes his way into Dreng's office. He is wearing a brightly colored outfit with an absurd looking hat on top of his black feathered head. He is walking jauntily with a walking stick in one hand, and he has a backpack and a crossbow slung across his back.
When he realizes that Dreng is taking a nap, he twirls his cane around in a circle once, takes a step back against one of the walls of the room, and poses rakishly while waiting for the other members of the expedition to arrive.

A young, Varasian woman strides into the room, her short red hair a matted mess. Dropping into a chair against the wall, she falls back to sleep... with a vigilant eye still open.

Har! Howdy folks! Smiley Stonegirdle at your service. It's bound to be a fortunate mission, because you see before you a Seventh Son of a Seventh Son.
He bows deeply (and possibly a little bit drunk).

Noticing way too late that everyone is sleeping (or trying to), he continues, more quietly,

A slight woman comes clambering in after the boisterous Smiley. She takes the opportunity of his loud entrance as a means to try and go a bit more unnoticed on her arrival. Her hand is cupped as if she's whispering over her shoulder at someone in a heated discussion.
This stops the moment Smiley drops his tone, and she makes a loud shushing sound to the air before turning her attention back to the other Pathfinders.
Tchucko is flare, she is confusion. All of her clothing is mismatched, a collecting a gear seemingly picked from every other pathfinder's locker piecemeal with the exception of the scarves tied about her neck and limbs. She clatters slightly as she moves up to the dwarf and offers him a hand.
Hello! That does sound fortunate! We've always found the number seven rather lucky, or some of us! I'm Seren, and I'm here with my seven in fact!"
Her other hand rests awkardly on the hilt of one of the blades at her waist, she doesn't seem certain at all exactly how to be casual in her gear.

He looks behind her from both right and left.
Ahh, she's a bit daft, like my brother Mekkar. Poor thing thinks she's got friends she doesn't.

[Drandle Dreng's Office]
Drandle Dreng wakes up.
Venture-Captain Drandle Dreng’s pinched face is hard to see from behind the stack of books that divide the front of his office from the space behind his desk. A shockingly old man with white hair and slightly milky eyes, he is surprised by the appearance of outsiders in his office, and looks up, half startled and half relieved.
Thank you for coming on such short notice. I’d been meaning to give this assignment to you at a later date, and with less pressing time constraints, but it seems that time has conspired against us. Dreng mumbles to himself as he passes out a stack of notes and maps from behind the wall of books. These notes are from a recent Chronicle—it contains some interesting finds, but one of them is now the utmost priority to the Society.
Dreng lightly taps a bony finger on a map, on which can be seen a section of Absalom with a small corner townhouse circled in deep red.
This townhouse is a façade for an underground vault. The vault belonged to an old noble family of Absalom that was expelled a decade ago—the Decklands. The family was forced out when their patriarch—a man known as Orias—was discovered to have written documents detailing the city’s defenses, documents he intended to hand over to hostile forces loyal to Cheliax. The Chronicle indicates that a copy of these documents exist within the vault.
A Pathfinder looking into the Decklands and their Chronicle references in Cheliax was attacked and killed ten days ago. The thugs made off with a copy of his notes— fortunately, he’d already sent us another. We have reason to believe it was the work of the Decklands’ oldest child, a young woman named Celeena, and she’s the reason this assignment is now urgent. The fact that Celeena and her forces were willing to kill a Pathfinder for this information shows how desperate they are to retrieve the documents. If she were able to get these documents and return them to Cheliax, it would undermine the defenses of the whole city, as well as cause the Society undue headaches. Find Celeena, find the documents in her vault, and prevent this situation from turning into one big mess for the Society.

Giggling can be heard from the outside as in walks in a strangely garbed Gnome. Flowing colorful robes, mismatched shoes and flower garland of all things on his head strides in.
"Hey you all, I heard the tail end of the briefing and I'm ready to go along with whatever the plans you may have come up with." he grins showing pearly white teeth.
Turning to Drandle Dreng, the gnome rattles off a few questions.
"Anything else about this family?
What other thugs does she have? Big Uns? Hairy ones? Uglies?
Those Chronicles must be real important for us to go rushing off after them. We can't wait for the outside the vaults or are there more than one entrance and exit to it?"

How will we know Celeena when we see her?
I don't have a good description of her. She's Chelish, obviously, and probably will be the most well dressed. The agents in Cheliax report that Celeena hired mercenaries from the Devil’s Claw Company, a mercenary organization of failed Hellknights, so she should have company. As to your first question, we believe she is still in there as we have intelligence telling us she entered Absalom not so long ago, but we cannot confirm that she is still here, which is why you must hurry!
"Anything else about this family?"
Orias was a beloved Absalom nobleman until 10 years ago, when he was forced out of the city. Rumors have it that Cheliax agents threatened young Celeena’s life and Orias felt he know recourse but to betray the city’s defenses. I can only imagine the hardship the man had to endure for the safety of his family.

Her vault is likely to contain many entrances and exits. We only know of the one beneath the townhouse. Therefore, you must enter there and find her before she has time to flee. And if she is not there, it's still best to preemptively obtain the documents before she has time to get her hands on them.

Smiley has no further questions, aside from the obvious ones about whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, or to take arms against a sea of troubles, and, by opposing, end them. You know, the usual things Smiley is thinking about.

She cocks her head to the side as if listening to something before looking back at Drendle.
"Malsaire wants to know if there are any... mmm, reprisals... from Cheliax we have to worry about if anything happens to Celeena."

Between the conversation that is running, two individuals entered in the Dreng's office.
One of them is a well looked man, with blond hair and a impressive posture. Besides him, stays a woman with some kind of elven traits, with a supernatural beauty, resting a greatsword on her left shoulder, while she smiles to the party.
"Sorry for being late, Mr. Dreng. I'm Argazhon, at your service".

After becoming aware of their task, the azata is the first to manifest: "well, can we already leave?", and then she smiles with a certain malice in her look.

In fact, there's quite a history behind it but I'm not well-versed in the details. There probably wouldn't be any repercussions, but I don't see a reason to just brutally murder her, although I'm not sure what to expect should she fight back. She's trying to restore her dignity and family name; something that has been tarnished her whole life.

[Deckland Townhouse]
Seemed like there was some consensus to move on. Still free to buy stuff in the city before heading inside the place.
You head out, and you see Dreng nodding off while you exit.
Sitting on the corner of a quiet street, the red brick Deckland townhouse melds in with the middle class buildings in this portion of Absalom. A small, flickering candle can be seen through a barred window on the building’s west side and a single door can be seen on the building’s south face.
For reference you are in the Eastgate district, and it's about 6 AM now, but I'll just assume there's enough light to see well outside.
I have placed yourselves on the map... in some semblance of order. Let me know what you want to do here and feel free to move tokens outside the house. Excuse the terrain wackiness... I wanted more room for you guys to move around and the scenario didn't give it to me XD.

While making the walk over to the townhouse, Tchucko pulls Smiley aside.
"As I suspect we're going to run into some opposition, it's probably wise to get our ducks in order sooner rather than later. I have certain... contingencies... that can help in a fight. And since I suspect you'll be in the front lines, I was wondering if you would mind allowing me to prepare one with you. It doesn't take long... you just need to stare deeply into my eyes for a few seconds."
If Smiley is OK with it, I'd like to implant my "mesmerist trick" in his mind. My trick is "Shadow Splinter", which protects the subject against a single attack and redirects the damage to an enemy target.

Hellany kicks the door open. You hear a bell inside that was rigged to the door that rings a few times. Seems like it was some sort of trap to alarm those inside of people entering, but clearly it was not even needed.
You see a short entry hallway that has openings on each side of it.
The room on the right appears to be a bedroom, but seems to be mostly used for storage at this time.
You hear scuffling inside from the left (west) side of the townhouse; what sounds like furniture violently being thrown around. Went ahead and placed all the other combatants for ease of use.
If anyone still wanted to buy stuff, to have it fair, I'll give it 24 hours from my last post before this one, or when it's time for your first initiative post, whichever comes last.

"Today is house cleaning day, buddy?", she ironically questions the thug with red robe while trying to hit him with her greatsword.
First, she provokes an AoO from the blue thug, due to have passed by his threatened area. Then...

...but she only cuts the air with her blade.

Seeing Hellany rush down the hallway towards the voices, Tchucko throws back his cloak, drops his bag, draws a thin blade from within his cane, and runs after her.
"Fortune favors the bold, and all that, I suppose!"
Tchucko stops when he gets near the doors to the two rooms. Glancing right, he sees the man who ran across the hallway and lunges at him with his sword.

Tchucko lets off a quiet "Squawk" as his blade moves towards his opponent's form.

The man would have cover from where you are for future reference because of how melee attacks work around corners. Either way, was a miss anyway even without cover. (This also means you have cover from him, however)

Actually, Argazhon can use the Life Link ability to keep her up, and that's exactly what he does then Hellany is with 1 hp and Argazhon with 4 of damage. :)
So, as Hellany was up, the red thug couldn't moved to where he is now. I just have to know if the red thug would try to hit her, to prevent more damage from her again.
Forget it. I thought that she would be sent to her home plane with 0 hp.
"Damn, Hellany!", fumed Argazhon.

Sorry this is long, have to post some pre-fight actions
Seren had struggled along behind the rest with her gear, desperately removing her small buckler and muttering to herself, glancing over her shoulder as they went.
Before they had reached the townhouse she'd made use of a wand pulled from her pack to cast longstrider, increasing her movement speed

When the door was smashed open she'd been holding a pair of wakizashi awkwardly in her hands. Her grip sweaty and uncertain. Then two of her companions fell and she eep'ed nervously.
"Um... Hoji? Help please!"
Her voice was a squeak even as she began moving forward, twirling once as she went. During the movement her eyes rolled back into her and her dancer's movements went from uncertain to arrogant.
"Don't worry Mouse, these tiny men no longer face girls and birds, they now face the great Hoji himself!" The voice is a deep, manly baritone and entirely not Seren's.
She strides forward with purpose, attempting to slip by Faellynn and into the flank of the two scoundrels, where she twirls and stabs at the same target as the other woman if he still stands.
Move between Red and Blue. Standard attack on Red if he still stands, otherwise on Blue. Free action to enter Spirit Dance.
