Ok, so, Rocket get's a +12 to counteract time modifiers. Each migration down on the chart is a -3 to his skill, so he has the levels to move that down 4 levels at most. That means he can turn a 1.5 hour job into a 1 turn job if he makes his base skill roll. He did, so it's a one turn job. So, at the end of post 12, the job will be complete.

PHASE 3, Snap Dragon Up!

Sorry again for the delay, was waiting for a recap, didn't get one. I finally had time to read through 2 pages of posts to get track of the end expenditures again

Rocket:

Rocket spends a few seconds clearing out a section of paper, and as he does, the images of matching paper flicker and fade out, as does the cannister around him. Perception Roll, -5

"QUEEENIE! Captain Vibrator is cleaning up all my paper! Use your Imperial Wrath to stop him!"

"How about you just put him in under a cup again?"

"Oh! Queenie, you're so smart! Why don't I think of these things?"

Paper swirls and slams into place around Rocket again, the edges of the paper slamming into the marble floor and cracking it as the sheets of paper land as if they weigh a few tons apiece. Inside, Rocket can see out through various cracks between sheets, but the paper might as well be concrete to the speedster.

Snap, having drawn attention apparently, sees in her mirror an image of a giant hedge clipper swooping down at her from behind!

Hit: 3d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 6) = 8
Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 4) = 5

The hedge clipper slices through her image's ear, and her own ear spasms in pain as she feels the blades slice! 5 stun

You know who's up next, it's phase 3

Violet, standing right over Pulse (more or less), reestablishes the Mindlink with her BFF as the other woman regains consciousness.

Then, to the entire team:

::They have some sort of mental barrier running... and I think it's coming from another source. Someone down in the vault, maybe. Snap, Mud, if you can both nail Queenie at the same time, we might be able to confuse Jester... she seems to only act when Queenie directs her. And I think maybe she's on real wires around the room? Is there some way to cut those, even if we can't see them?::

She pauses for a moment, then adds:

::What if three of us tried to put a hurt on Queenie at once? Can we manage that? We go when Mud says?::

Aegis misses, although she does manage to see through the illusions long enough to find Queenie. Snap, seeing nothing, drops down where she hears the attacks going on, and flails about at random.

Mud leaps over to where Rocket is, and slams his fist into the paper wall...

Haymaker: 8d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 5, 1, 4, 6, 5, 5) = 34 8 body

Between them, Mud and Rocket manage to shatter the wall of paper again... but it took both of them to do it, and delayed Rocket.

"Queenie! Goldenrod is trying to kiss you! No fair! Stay away from her you gold coated skank!"

"Jester, if you say things like that, they're going to think we're girlfriends."

"But... but we are friends! And we're girls!" pulls top out and looks down "Yep! Still a girl!"

"That's not what I mean..."

"I don't get it..." Jester laughs

Aegis sees a nasty looking man with a big mask and a welding torch in her mirror, walking up behind her. Then her image is melted by the torch!

Aegis:

"Oh snap!" Jester says, sounding annoyed.

Blaze, outside, flies up and around the building to the north. Cameras from the local television station follow him, and people comment and yell, some cheer, some jeer, and some make threats or call him a demon or sub-human.

As he flies around, looking through the windows, he finds that all the windows on the east and north side of the building have been papered over, blocking his site. Even the massive glass sky-light on the roof has paper plastered to the inside of it.

The paper in the skylight is arranged in a mosaic to read :

Sure! But she also saw through the illusion to see that. If there were another illusion (what I expected) for the second paper blast, I'd have expected to get another roll, or with a roll that good to have actually seen through it. She -did- see you get 'hit', but didn't see any visual effect showing you getting hit. Just your response to it and the timing cues that resulted. So she communicated seeing jester hit you. Wording I'd intentionally imperfect; I don't think she's gonna be super careful with wording overall, unless she's asked to be.

Ok, ignore this one. Restarting 6 with Mud's attack

Mud lands near Queenie, and punches as hard as he can. However, he misses her completely. He does not hit a wall though.

Pulse climbs unsteadily to her feet, and sparks begin to hop across her skin as her force field jumps back to being active. She slowly spreads her legs into a wide stance as the sparks start to coalesce along her fingertips. She arches her arms behind her in a near circle so tht her fingertips just nearly touch. She intentionally looks in the wrong direction. "Ka-me-ha-me-"

Phase 10, Dex 18:
Teamwork: 13 - 3d6 ⇒ 13 - (1, 6, 2) = 4
Attack: 11 + 6 - 3d6 ⇒ 11 + 6 - (3, 3, 5) = 6

NND: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (4, 4) + 1 = 9
Flash: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 2) = 8

"Haaaa!" Pulse shouts as she throws her arms forward with the little ball of energy she'd grown in her hands towards Queenie. It was more a Masenko Ha, but whatever.

The intent is to Haymaker with it, I'm not positive how Haymaker works with a linked attack, i.e. if it has to be split between both affects. It also says to let you decide how the damage gets added, anyway! If I had the choice, I'd value the flash damage over the NND damage.

On Segment 9, Speed 4, Dex 18, Violet does a half move, flying, directly back through the open door that she came in to the building through.

::I'm useless in this fight,:: she tells the team via the mindlink. ::I'm moving outside to coordinate with Blaze.::

Segment 9

Mud leaps next to Queenie again. "Come back here!" I presume that Mud knows where she is on the floor, because he has in the past.

I tries to coordinate with anyone else attacking Queenie and attempts to land a punch.

Segment 9—I believe this is when Blaze finally covers the total distance of more than 20", plus altitude gain

Blaze finished his circle around, coming up to the bank's second floor. If there was anything up here, he'd try and contain it.

::I'm close to the top now. Any special instructions?::

Sorry everyone, Queenie goes first on 9 after Snapdragon

Queenie kips up off the floor, seeming no the worse for wear.

"Ooh! See, I told you all those hours practicing were worth it!"

Queenie then glares at Rocket, and with her secret out, no longer holds back.

Attack: 3d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 5) = 16 Unfortunately for Rocket, his DCV is 1 for ranged attacks because he's effectively blinded by the illusions, so she still hits, although just barely

Location: 3d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 4) = 11 Chest

Damage: 2d6 + 1d3 ⇒ (1, 6) + (3) = 10 10 body, 30 stun, against PD defenses

KB: 20 - 3d6 ⇒ 20 - (2, 4, 2) = 12

Rocket Pinball off pillar: 3d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 1) = 8

Rocket is, quite literally, rocketed back into the pillar behind him as a paper rocket in the shape of an scaled down Atlas III grows over Queenie's head and then slams into the speedster!

Pillar Damage: 8d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 5, 3, 1, 4, 1, 1) = 20 20 stun, 5 body, against defenses

Breakfall roll at -6 to remain on feet Rocket

Blaze gets to the top of the building, cameras rolling, and finds nothing else other than the message to the naughty snipers. There's apparently nobody on overwatch above other than Blaze.

@Pulse - Can't haymaker anything that doesn't hit PD or ED, so flash and NND are out. Plus Mud would have to wait to 10 to coordinate

Mud and Pulse finally get their timing down, and both slam Queenie, Mud with his fist and Pulse with her Kame-ha-me-haaa ball.

BTW: Mud, that was a horrible damage roll, 10 below average

The weak punch and the ball blast into her simultaneously, and she grunts, but remains on her feet.

Phase 10

"Now you're getting into it! Kame-hame-hahahahaha!" Jester says, and a Goku in the mirror in front of Pulse winds up and sends a blast into her belly!

Attack: 3d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 5) = 12
Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 1) = 6 6 stun

Rocket up, if still conscious

Pulse is planning to Coordinate with Rocket (since he asked so nicely!) if he's not been stunned, which she'd know before Queenie went, I think!

I think you mean before Mud went yes? As you couldn't possibly know if Rocket was stunned before Queenie went.

Yeah, that. :) 'Pulse would coordinate with Rocket like he asked if he's not stunned before her turn.' My bad. My brain says weird things sometimes. :)

Rocket being stunned, Pulse's acttack hits on 9 with MUD

Phase 10, Rocket gets a recovery

Mud sees a reflection in his mirror attacking him, a fireman with a firehose!

Attack: 3d6 ⇒ (6, 5, 4) = 15
Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 6) = 9

The hose hits his image, and sends it splashing over the ground, although the details don't look very good, as if someone were guessing how Mud would splash on the ground, rather than knowing. His body aches a bit from the hit, but nothing like really getting hit with water.

Phase 11

Phase 12

Rocket's eyes flutter open, staring up at glittering confetti and mirrors from the ground of the reserve floor.

Rocket was not con-stunned, and recovered on 10, so he can take a full action this segment, although he'll need an acrobatics check at -2 to stand up as a zero phase action

Seg 10

"Yoiks!" Rocket hollers as the paper rocket narrowly misses him and crashes into the pillar.

On Pulse's signal, he runs back alongside Queenie, attempting to clock her with his outstretched arm just as Mud punches her and Pulse gives her a blinding zap.

Rocket attempts to run right past and over to where he sees Jester, trying to hit her as well.

Ok, this is going to get complicated with the ret-con, so please bear with me. We're also mixing some complex rules interactions

As Pulse, Rocket, and Mud all coordinate to attack Queenie, she realizes she's in trouble, and aborts her 12 action to activate a defense. One of the problems with haymakers is you are telegraphing your attempts

As Rocket and Mud both race toward her on 10, a solid wall of paper slams into place around her, mere inches in front of Rocket and Mud! This means that Mud and Rocket have to penetrate the wall first, then complete their attack on her, if they can damage the wall. Because they are not coordinating on the wall, if the first attack doesn't destroy the wall, but the second one does, the second person gets through but not the first one. I'll resolve the attacks in order of dex, meaning Rocket's first

Rocket's attack, even adding the two powers together, don't overcome the defense of the wall, and he slams to a full stop. He takes full damage from his own movethrough on the wall, but not the damage from the winding trail, in other words, 8 body 26 stun, applied to defenses

Mud's attack is also, by itself, not enough to penetrate the wall, and he slams into the wall as well. Mud takes 8 body 25 stun

If you had not haymakered, and attacked on 9, she wouldn't have been able to abort to throw up a defense, because she'd have already acted on 9. However, giving her advanced notice of the haymaker means she can respond to it. Had she had an action on 10, she could have simply moved to another hex and foiled the haymaker as well. Haymakers are powerful, but they are chancy in combat

Pulse's attack burns a small hole in the wall without any other apparent damage, and slams into Queenie making her grunt.

Phase 10

Apply stun already rolled on Mud with the firehose to Rocket instead, if he's up after running into the wall. If he's out, then apply it to Mud

Phase 12

Rocket up, if he's conscious. If not, he recovers. If he's conscious, he'll need to make a Breakfall check at -2 to retain his footing after running full bore into the wall. Note I should have probably done more damage to Rocket, since a move through does more damage than a move by, but it wouldn't have broken the wall by itself and I didn't want to be mean. :) Mud also needs a Breakfall at -2 to retain his footing after slamming face first into the wall.
