Im going to move it along to avoid redundancy, I am choosing to use the Constitution house rule for you which means that for 8 hours of sleep you regain your 1hp x your character level plus your constitution modifier.

In the morning after eating a hearty breakfast your group heads out for the goblin lair once again. After trekking back over the same territory you walked yesterday, Proudstump continues walking at high alert Long Bow nocked and his eyes eagerly searching potential threats.

It takes approximately the same amount of time it took the day before without the Soggy River Monster encounter of course. When you get to about 300 yards from the palisade, but still too far to get a look, you start to hear loud banging noises.

Proudstump after hearing Liu Na's educated guess scratches his head with his right hand and thinks for awhile and then says, "Why don't you and I reconnoiter the situation? And maybe bring one or two down...What do you think?"


"Sounds good. After you, Warden," Liu Na responds, motioning for Walthus to take the lead.

Proudstump, Stealth check 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (12) + 13 = 25, and Liu make their way to the Goblin Camp in a circuitous manner through the marsh being extra careful not to be seen hiding behind bushes. When you get near the gate you see two goblins working on the palisade that had been destroyed before you arrived yesterday. One of them is holding a large plank of wood and the other is hammering it to a horizontal piece of wood.

Goblin Perception -2 for being busy holding wood 1d20 - 1 - 2 ⇒ (4) - 1 - 2 = 1.

The two goblins carry on constructing the palisade as if you weren't there.

Proudstump whispers to Liu, " We can pick these two off or we can continue to scout, maybe swim through the pool or something."

While Liu and Stumpy go out to find the Greenskins I pull out a bottle of mead and start to drink it while I scribble down new recipe ideas.

Liu's and Proudstump's arrows fly and hit their targets and kill them instantly. Liu's strikes her goblin's heart and he dies and Proudstump gets him in the grape striking the plank behind him, his limp body hanging from the large plank leaning on the palisade.

Should we continue to scout or should we go back to the group?

Kalistrine crouches in the bushes, peering towards the Goblin village. She drums her clawed fingers on the rim of her shield impatiently. After Walthus and Liu have been gone for a while, she shifts in her spot and looks over at the others. She snorts at Jorland scribbling on his parchment. She gives Lina a smile, though one without a lot of warmth. Takeshi she eyes and says, "How long you reckon we should wait? Maybe they got ambushed." She stands and stretches her arms. "I think we should check on them." she says.

Proudstump looks at Jorland, shakes his head and moves the group forward slowly and quietly.

While hidden in tall grass just before the palisade, Proudstump puts his fist in the air to stop. You can see that there is a group of six goblin children staring at the Goblin hanging from the arrow in the piece of wood.

After about 20 seconds one of the kids decides to use the hanging goblin as an impromptu swing and another pushes him to give him some momentum.


Eyeing the situation, Proudstump says, They are children, should we kill them or move around?"


Liu Na studies the situation for several long moments with a grim scowl on her face.

"We go around," she finally whispers in response to the halfling's question, her expression indicating that she will accept no argument on the matter.

Still scowling, the half-elf ninja takes the lead, quietly moving eastward through the marsh grasses and skirting around the edge of the large pool of water to approach the break in the palisade wall near the pool's southeastern edge.

After throwing her starknife almost reflexively, Lina finds herself without a weapon in her hands and moves to stand behind Liu. "Kill the nasty thing!" Touching Liu's shoulder with her hand, Liu feels a warm sensation pass through her body as she feels slightly more confident.

Kalistrine's dagger flips end over end twice before striking the goblin in the throat, killing him instantly.

You make yourselves around the edge of the pool to retrieve your weapons as well as collect some ears. Once inside the village you see no more goblins. Except for the children playing near the entrance.


"We extirpated this group... we could check all of the houses or go for the big one I tracked yesterday... says Proudstump while chewing on a piece of grass.

On the dead goblins you find 1d12 ⇒ 4 arrows, 1d30 ⇒ 16 copper pieces and a mouse in a cage, a jar with something pickled inside.
